The pizza does not quite measure up to what I am used to--but after trying several pizza places in Bozeman, this is our favorite.

Pizza as delicious. It's a go to place when you visit Bozeman. We had a jumbo pepperoni pizza and a large spinach and cheese pizza. Oops I almost forgot the calzone. They do have limited hours. So make sure you plan for it and not just show up. I'm from a small town and appreciate the limited times, because it makes it a "look forward to getting out". read more

The Colombo family sold the place. The new owners also run Main Street Overeasy. I've been eating pizza here since it was Karl Marks in the 70's. New owners changed the crust and ruined what was the best pizza in town. I'm done after forty years of loyalty. Thanks for nothing new owners. read more

I just moved to Bozeman today. After 4 days on the road I wanted real food! Being a pizza lover I decided to try Colombo's. I called to place my order and the young lady that took my order was so lovely! I have a pork allergy and they were more than happy to accommodate that! When I went to pick up my dinner the entire staff was so friendly and welcoming! The pizza and garlic bread were perfection! After a long day on the road, Colombo's served us delicious Italian comfort food. Vegetarians can actually get meatless pasta dishes! (Perhaps thanks to the Long Island founders of Colombo's?) the spinach manicotti and cheese and sausage calzone were wonderful! They have 9 or so beers on tap, about 20 in cans or bottles and a short wine list. The salad bar has the basic mixed greens, spinach, mushrooms, sliced beets, peppers etc. and corn and peas? About half the tables were occupied on a summer weekday night, and the music was not overwhelming loud, so it was a relaxing atmosphere. read more

We walked in and we couldn't find a seat. Dirty dishes on every table, not a worker found cleaning any of it. The workers were nice but the food took a hour to get to us, and when it did the bottom of my pizza was burnt!!! Had to send the food back and it has still been over 30 minutes and I haven't gotten my food back. After that time they had burnt my pizza once again for a second time. I am furious. The seats seemed as if they had never been cleaned before and were filled with crumbs. The restaurants ambiance was tight and small, but the scenery matches the type of food and service. This is the worst restaurant I have been to in my life time... I will never come here again and recommend not coming here to anyone else. read more

The food is good but we waited over an hour for just one large pizza. The people are nice but kept telling everyone waiting for their food that their food should be out soon, and year an hour+ wait. I would not recommend if you are in a hurry or are hungry. Make sure you set out some time. Or just go somewhere else because the pizza isn't anything specia. read more

First time experience... HORRIBLE customer service!! Wasn't busy at all, it was just a little bit over an hour before they closed..The Bobcat Special was ok but needed ranch but they didn't have any.. I waited for an employee to come out of the back for almost 5 minutes just to tell me they didn't have any.. how do you run out of ranch at a pizza place?? Just wanted to box up our pizza and leave but no employees were present in the front but we could hear them talking in the back..took another 5 minutes of waiting... unfortunately we tipped when we ordered because they didn't deserve anything for nothing of a service. read more

Stop to grab lunch before getting on the plane. Looked at Yelp to find a good pizza place and got lucky and found an outstanding pizza place. The lady behind the counter, making pizzas taking orders serving orders. Unbelievable food was great hot they have the old Blodgett oven's, not the hot air convention oven so don't cook a pizza very well, if you have a chance to go I highly recommend it I'm a pizza connoisseur! read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Colombo's while I was visiting MSU for some training, and I was totally blown away - this place is a great value! We visited during lunch, and I went with their slice and a side salad deal, which gets you access to 1 plate at the salad bar, the daily slice of your choice (premium slices are extra), and a drink. First of all, their salad bar is on point. They have a ton of seasonal and unique toppings to choose from. Salad seems to be spinach, or a mixed greens option - both of which appeared very fresh. Variety of fresh veggies to choose from, and all tasted delicious. They also have a variety of dressings (including oil and vinegar) to choose from. I went with "Slice C" which included spicy sausage, green olives, onion, garlic, and, I believe, artichoke. It was pan pizza style and delicious! One slice and a salad was definitely enough for lunch. Hope to be back next time I'm in Bozeman! read more

The pizza is fresh, loaded and delicious! If this was a take-out-only place, this would be a 5-Star pizza review. But it's not and dining-in becomes flimsy cheap quickly.... The mini-salad bar is okay but the micro plate is a joke. You will see dribbles in each of the salad bar cups because anyone who tries to put 3 olives on their micro-plate will see at least one of them roll off. ...yes, two olives max on those plates. At least they gave me a metal fork instead of a plastic one. The dining room is soooo over-crowded with tables and chairs they forgot to leave room for people. When the person sitting at the table behind you gets up - make your move. Tetris-themes dining - no thanks. I had a couple of pieces of (delicious!) pizza leftover so I asked for a to go box. They handed me a box that is so lightweight, I had to tell him - it's for pizza. ...to which he replied, that's what we have. I'm not sure if the message is "clean your pan or else" or "we can't afford cardboard". I will be back but just takeout. read more

One of my top pizza spots in Bozeman! My boyfriend and I order from here (embarrassingly) at least once a week. Everything I've had here is fabulous - especially the garlic loaf. We always order pickup and have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes, but usually it's only 15. My only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) is that every time we order the full garlic loaf we never know what we are gonna get - sometimes we get the top and bottom half of the loaf, sometimes just the bottom, and one time we got 2 top and bottom halves. But hey, I'm not complaining about more bread! If they started carrying salads, this place would be perfection. read more

This is a pretty solid pizza place. I like the crust, which is thin "NY style". Cheese pies are great in this style, as are simple pies like pepperoni. The pies with a lot of toppings tend to get soggy, but they are still quite tasty. Prices are pretty reasonable as long as you stick to the simpler pies. Once you get into their specialty pies, expect to pay up to 2x what you would get for a cheese. The 16 inch jumbo pies are a pretty good value. Not as cheap as Costco, but better tasting. Always order the largest pie possible - the bigger the pizza, the cheaper each slice is. My math nerds out there already know that. read more

They are unable to fill an order within an hour's time. I paid and then had to leave after waiting for an hour fifteen minutes. I've gone to Colombo's for over fifteen years. Located across the street from the university their focus is catering to students. The menu is an assortment of Popular Italian dishes, including pizza, calzones, sandwiches, a few meals and salad. The pizza sizing is a bit different than other places so difficult to compare prices. Overall the pizza with a few toppings is good. I didn't have a chances to try a specialty pizza. read more
