I have been wanting to get into something like Yoga for a while now. Well recently I had an injury…read moreat work and Yoga was suggested to me for something that may help. I had seen the advertisement Mindpose had where you could get 14 days for $14 and I decided to give it a go. I signed up and went later that night. My first class was absolutely amazing. The instructor was so welcoming and so kind to me. The second class was not as great--I have found that every instructor sometimes has different teaching styles and also different ideas of what the class consists of. With this specific class, we were doing like a two minute plank in a 98 degree room. Whew. I tried another class that was a lot more about meditation. It was interesting but probably my least favorite just because of the several minutes that she had us holding our necks in a position I couldn't do too well because of the injury I still currently have. I understand that we are not being forced to do every move but there is a lot of pressure to follow along and even more when there is not an alternative option being given. We are supposed to be guided and I don't really want to lay there and look like a lazy bones just because I am restricted from doing a certain pose. I loved a bit more of the meditation and I like when they seem to "guide our spirit" by talking to us about life stuff too (like dedicating the class to someone in mind, releasing negative energy). I really love the music and the atmosphere that Mindpose provides for people. The instructors have all been kind and I love the towel we get after. I wish there was a bit more consistency, even the temperature varies 10 degrees and seems a bit unpredictable. The location is very convenient and I enjoy the dim lighting a lot.

I got hooked after just the first class. I felt so welcome as someone new to the city. They always asked how I liked class and class ended with a pop! So clever and exactly what we all needed after that burn. They have super cool classes with varying levels. Topaz is super fun. I loved Tiger's Eye. Quinn has a really special thing going and every one in her team is professional, kind, and really pushed us to our true potential. They were my escape while I was stressed at work. The moment I went in to ARRICHION Hot Yoga, I was welcomed and guided to where to go and where to keep my stuff. As you go into the yoga room, you can already feel the heat coming in. It almost felt like a sauna. When you go, remember to take a yoga mat and a towel with you to lay over the mat so you don't slip. They do have some at the location but it is a $2 rental. The classes are the best part. There are a wide variety of classes available to choose from which truly challenge you in different ways. They range from focusing on flexibility to strength to endurance to a combination of multiple! There are also excellent instructors that guide you through it all! Once class is over, you go out of the room and there are popsicles that they give you to cool off which is the most rewarding ever! After the end of every session, you feel so accomplished and have a high kick of endorphin! Ultimately, I definitely recommend Arrichion Hot Yoga as there are excellent instructors who are very helpful, outgoing, and nice. There are also a multitude of classes that are open to EVERYONE at any skill level which can be done at your own pace. It is also a very welcoming space! I feel strong and energetic like never before! I am one of those people that just went to the gym to keep active, but that was just not working for me, because I would not find motivation to continue or to challenge myself. Now I have found my place! and a new juicy routine that challenges me every time I walk through these doors. I love the barre classes as well as the TRX, although barre is my favorite. I also had the pleasure to meet many of the instructors: I LOVE THEM! They are extremely supportive, generous, and always in a great mood. Their extensive knowledge of muscles and specific workouts makes me feel safe and at ease in each class. They are marvelous people who care about their clients and strive to deliver the best experience, while having fun. This was a game-changer for me. I go 4-5 times per week, and I cannot stress enough how much I have grown stronger physically and emotionally. I'm now on their email list, and the offerings they have here are so wonderful. They have yoga classes for the overwhelmed, intuitive eating classes, workshops, speakers, and opportunities to connect with yourself in addition to the therapy services they offer here as well. It can be sometimes nerve-wracking going to an event on your own in a new place that you're not familiar with, but I immediately felt so safe and comfortable here when I attended the journaling/mindfulness workshop. It started with some snacks and drinks, followed by 45 minutes of guided journaling. It was a very intimate class, and I felt so comfortable taking the time for myself to journal and learn. I look forward to coming to more opportunities here in the future.
