They gladly accepted our bags that were full of books, toys, shoes, few shirts of mine and few pants of his, few old CDs, and DVDs . By the look of the store, it was nice, big and clean. We didn't purchase anything from here, but there is always a next time. Each item according to section and selection varies. Prices were not that expensive. They looked new and clean, not raggedy and old. Don't know much about parking, since we parked on the street, walked in and out. Everything took less than 20 minutes. There was a small line, but their friendly & helpful employees cleared the line so fast. Will definitely be back if we need to donate more things to this Thrift/Consignment store. It was very well organized. They have vintage items, good selection of jewelry, purses, shoes, scarfs, hats, clothing, belts, and other types of accessories. I have found so many treasures and great items here at this store--I even included some photos of my recent finds below! Unlike so many other thrift stores, this one actually has reasonable and sometimes even ridiculously low prices. I've found items such as great quality Lululemon clothing for under $10, and even recently found a Coach Bag for under $15. Additionally, the store is usually very organized--there are no piles of clothes on the floor or random items strewn around. Overall, this is one of my favorite thrift stores in Covina. I work in the entertainment industry- specifically, with costumes, so for both work and for my own leisure, I like to take the time to explore the various secondhand stores around the LA area. For the clothing options you get at URM, I would say that this place is definitely a hidden gem. One of the SGV's best kept secrets for sure. They've got all sorts of styles, from alternative - gothic - academia - "clean girl" - club wear - rave gear - etc, etc. I'm a person who prefers to shop secondhand, and recently, I've found that most of my wardrobe consists of pieces I got from URM. Neat! The union rescue mission also does quite a lot for the homeless population in Los Angeles county, as well as offering really great products, clothing AND knickknacks AND furniture all at reasonable prices. They also very often have sales of up to 50% off almost everything in store. I do recommend following them on Instagram, because they update their daily hours and post dates/times of specific sales. If they have a highly coveted piece of furniture or clothing available, they'll also post pictures on Instagram as well. All in all this is a great thrift store, especially if you're someone who likes a unique piece of clothing. The work they do for the community is also wonderful. Upon arrival, I pulled into the lot and it was small (maybe 6-8 spots) but luckily it wasn't crowded. There were a number of racks outside with really good stuff (rain jackets, vests, jeans, shorts, overalls, etc). Then when I went inside, there were PILES of jeans stacked everywhere. The worker said there was probably over 7,000 pairs of jeans. I am so happy to have found this gem. Will definitely be coming back for my jeans fix!

I wish they sorted through what they put on the racks because before especially at this location, I found a lot of great quality shirts to keep and resell. I know that it's also what is donated so Goodwill doesn't have full control over what is on the racks, but at the same time they do because all the shirts have so much fabric pulling, all very similar shirts of different colors. As I like to collect t-shirts, they really should't be displayed above head level. When you shop for t-shirts, you naturally have to page through them to see what is on them. Since they are racked high, you can imagine what that does to your arms after about a minute of browsing. Even worse for shorter people. What they should do is display the dress shirts on the elevated racks, and move the t-shirts down to a ground rack.

DO NOT USE! THEY ARE SCREWING OUR VETS! I used this company for the first time 3 days ago. But had…read moreto load the stuff in my car on day 2 in the pouring rain. I was so mad, I wanted my donation go straight to the vets. My Uncle is a vet. I had 25 bags and 4 small boxes. I support the vets. First day, I had to call and find out what happen. I was told the driver pick-up. I'm like no my pile was still there, so a wasted day had to reschedule. Then my neighbor tells me the driver did show up. He blocked the driveway, sat in the truck texting over 15 minutes. Then he took 3 bags (I donated 25 bags and 4 small boxes). Took a step with the bags put them down and took pictures of the back of the building. I had older neighbor scared to death. No idea who this was. This was so bad. Driver here 20 min and picked 3 bags out of 25? So I gave them another day and no show, no call, nothing. I did put in to talk to the local driver manager. Joke He was to call today between 8-10AM but never did. He decided to complete the ticket and not call me. Tried again today and no call. DO NOT USE PICK SOMEPLACE ELSE.
