I have been here multiple times before and never had an issue until this summer. Visited beginning of June and sat on the inside patio area. Everything was great except one of the glass panes of the garage doors literally fell out and crashed on the floor right behind me. Some of it hit the guy sitting behind me. Okay situation, the staff reacted pretty appropriately and we were given gift cards for our trouble. Still pretty sketchy that they obviously don't keep their property maintained. I can let this slide since nothing serious happened. But tonight... went in after we were at a wake. Exhausted from the day we had. The place was pretty empty and the girl at the hostess stand told us it would be an hour wait and we could wait at the bar for a table? I thought she was kidding at first. We apprehensively asked to put our name down but then she told us it would pretty much be a waste of time since the wait for food was over an hour and by the time we sat down we wouldn't be able to eat? The atmosphere is laid back and nice, the food is fantastic, the wait staff is awesome!! They are super friendly and very attentive. Their drink menu isn't huge, but what they make is delicious. Came here because I wanted to get beer that's hard to find in this area, they were the only store within 100 miles that had it. I can't wait to go back! The store is huge and has such a great selection of beer and wine. I looked around for a few minutes and couldn't find what I was looking for, an employee found it for me but it's easy to overlook something with the variety they have. You can even buy it by the bottle/can, it's nice so you can try new beer without buying a 6 pack. I didn't go to the restaurant But it looked nice. read more

Never again! Walked in only to see the retail store. Walked out looking for the restaurant entrance to find a sign saying to enter through the store. The acoustics are terrible. You have to yell to talk to the person at your table. Service is almost non-exhistant. You have to constantly flag your server. Servers are too busy clustered together gabbing! To order wine, your server sends you to the retail side to buy it. You bring it to your table and they ding you a "corking fee" after you've done the work. The only person who asked about our experience was the valet. Too late then. Even then, the valet had to scramble to find our car. If the only place you eat out is McD's, you might be impressed. Avid supporter of local establishments. I've been to RWB many times and corrections on my orders are always needed. I have a tomato allergy, mentioned it to the waitress. I ordered the flatbread with pesto to avoid said tomatoes...only to have my flatbread show up covered in cherry tomatoes...and to have my family's food- cold. Tomatoes are not listed ingredients on the menu selection. It was slow. The waitress, I could tell was distracted- but reordered both items with her apologies. She tried. She comped the meal and I tipped to support the original charge. To be fair. But It's one thing to choose not to eat something, but it's something else entirely to not be able to... I really like this store. It beats any grocery store beer aisle. I haven't bought wine here but they seem to have lots and have cigars as well. I try to stop in when seasonal selections change to see what I want to try. They have 2 walls of singly priced cans and bottles so you don't have to buy a full pack. There is always a selection of kegs and also those little baby kegs like Heineken or Bells, etc. If you are in the area and love beer it's always worth a stop. read more

We had a group dinner that we reserved in advanced. We are all regulars of this place. Some of us even go weekly! This particular evening our service was extremely slow. Our server Pam kept blaming the fact that she had to train these new servers and it was their fault. Which I found to be so unprofessional! The other servers were actually very helpful! They were very polite! I also saw and heard Pam yell at one of the newer server nearby, which was uncalled for. At the end of the dinner she had the audacity to announce to the whole group that she normally adds gratuity but she's doing us a favor this time and didn't. Food was great. We went to sit at the bar afterwards and the bartender Jenny was awesome! But I would avoid Pam! read more

Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Retail side has great selection. Took a bottle of wine over to the lounge. There was a 15% corking fee(based on the price of the bottle) but compared to what you pay for a glass/bottle at any other restaurant it's pretty reasonable. We ordered only desserts, pumpkin cheesecake and cannoli's, both which where great and huge portions for being $7 each. It was not very crowded in there, and the service was a little slower then I would expect, but everyone was super nice and friendly. My group knows what they like/want and did not ask a lot of questions so I can't account for the staffs knowledge on beer/wine etc. I went back to the retail side after and made my own 6 pack, they have a great selection of single bottles of beer. Have come here many times prior and food has always been good. Came on NYE and don't think we'll return. Chef definitely wasn't on his A game at all. Wasn't crowded so I wouldn't use that as an excuse. Ordered the Italian meatloaf. Wasn't able to cut through it with a fork. Seared (burned) on the bottom & totally dry inside. Potato wedges were lukewarm & Brussel sprouts were so undercooked & cold, it was laughable. Husband got the salmon which was a good size portion but he said it was almost cold & was "just okay". Served with bacon polenta that tasted like "dried cardboard". My friend had the airline chicken. It also was only lukewarm and the risotto it was served with "lacked any flavor whatsoever". What happened? The menu changed and the quality bottomed out. Plus, the prices were raised, and the food was totally unacceptable. AND, the ladies room was filthy! Server was nice and felt bad for her for having to serve customers sub-par fo Can't see coming back here again. Came back again after owner asked us to try the restaurant again and it was superb. Selections are spaced out and organized well; staff is incredibly knowledgeable; friendly AND willing to order if they can (which a lot of craft beer places now don't seem to do). In the midst of rural suburbia, a nearly comprehensive library of beer. The second-to-last stop on an escape from Ohio, stopped by RWB to load up on cheaper-than-NYC beer. Success. Head spinning from the selection of refrigerated beers, ended up selecting finding a gem: two 12-packs of Bell's Two Hearted cans for $19 each. Not sure how this stacks up in the Midwest, but these things run $16 for a sixer in Midtown Manhattan. Wine and cigars appear to make up the rest of the collection. Went with a large group for Mother's Day brunch. Trying to think of one good thing to say but it was the worst experience and food I ever had at a restaurant. Service was non existent especially considering it was Mother's Day. Lines for the buffet were awkward, and long. It took us over 20 minutes just to get near the food. Food was cold, waffles and French toast couldn't be cut with a knife, and much of the selection should have been replenished. To get back in line to get what was missed just wasn't worth it. Tables were so packed in that one could hardly move around to get up without disturbing other people. It just seemed that the owners wanted to take advantage of Mother's Day crowd and once inside it was too late for our group to leave. The cost of the brunch with added 18% gratuity was so overpriced for no service, no edible food, and uncomfortable seating. 1st timer: really neat atmosphere in the dining area. I sat at a high top and we were served immediately- wine came right over when ordered and our server was a delight. Spinach artichoke app is mouth watering delicious. Ordered the Smoke House burger... ehhh. Didn't really have any smoked flavor I could taste, just like a regular burger. The food is fantastic. The salmon special is the best. The homemade Chicken and black bean soup was perfectly spiced. Nothing was over salted which is Always an issue when we go out to dinner. We wanted to lick the plates clean .This is our second visit. We took a detour here on our trip from upstate New York to Chicago . Ashley S. Is a perfect waitress. She gave us wonderful recommendations on food and was very accommodating. To top off the dinner we had Berry cheesecake which has a Lemony flavor and a buttery crust, a flourless chocolate tort which is a must for anyone dining here and a chocolate mousse which was velvety and smooth. kiddos to the executive chef, zech taylor. So my Son and I stopped here today for some libations, cigars and conversation on the patio. I feel many individuals miss the point of what RW&B is, to me (being a Cigar smoker) this really started as a place to come have a cigar that you can smoke onsite, get some great drinks (top end liquor and single malt scotch), and sit with friends and have a great conversation. The restaurant is a nice distraction or addition but I don't look at it as the main attraction. The food I have had has been very good and they do have a good selection of items to choose from much better then some little pub's and I have found the service to be friendly and good. They have a fantastic selection of beers, wines and cigars to shop and take home. Today I spoke with both Sam and Charles who work there and they were very helpful with suggestions. Currently I order champagne from California and they were both willing to look into seeing if they could get it an a similar price for me which to me is great because it is buying locally helping keep good places in business. So as you read some of the reviews please bear in mind this is more than a restaurant (it is a wine / beer store, cigar store, social club) and as we all know none a perfect all the time. I think we are fortunate someone saw the potential to have a place like this in our area and made the investment to make it happen. read more

A really nice place hidden away just off Mentor Ave!! Having said that, I would never eat here if I weren't also interested in a drink! The attached retail store next door has an amazingly huge selection of beer, wine, and cigars, and I'm able to take all of the above next door to the bar/lounge for only an insignificant corkage fee!! We live in Westlake and go to their store locally on the west side. An employee in the Westlake Store suggested we visit their Mentor location for even more selections and dining. Last night we made the journey and were stunned by this first class shopping and dining experience. First the shopping: The selection of wine and beer is unmatched in the counties surrounding Cleveland. Everything is very well organized, well lit, well stocked and the staff will help guide you if you need help. Hard to describe how many wineries and breweries are represented ( I heard 9000 wine labels mentioned) but lets just say you will find what your looking for here regardless whether it is a simple table wine or a wine for a very special occasion. Pricing for their products was as competitive as I've seen anywhere and after dinner we picked up 4 bottles of Federalist, our favorite everyday wine, for the price as the lowest price we were able to find it for in the area. By the way we finished dinner a little late and the shop stayed open for us to pick up our wines. Nice! Dining: Another excellent surprise. The restaurant located on the right side of the custom build facility was very nice and comfortable. The waiter, Josh, was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about foods and wines. The menu had an amble selection of foods that my wife and I like. Won't go into too much detail as this is mostly subjective and I think it is on line.. Everything we ordered was promptly prepared, presented well, and cooked properly. My wife is a Flatbread fan and thoroughly enjoyed her meal. My meat dish was cooked perfectly and there were no leftovers as I showed it no mercy. There is a lot more to this place I can;t go into detail about but here is a summery: Great cigar selection, a lot of pre-chilled beers and wines in coolers. You can buy from the wine shop and for a really small corking fee enjoy the wine (or beer) in the bar or restaurant. Multiple fireplaces. A nice looking four season patio (we'll be back for that). A separate cigar lounge well ventilated with no crossed air exchange, I didn't know it was there until shown. There's more yet but you'll have to see for yourself. Great atmosphere for a dinner on a Friday or Saturday evening- I love the beer selection & opportunity to try just about any type of beer you can imagine! Food was delicious as well- I ordered a BYO grilled chicken sandwich with a very generous amount of sweet potatoes fries and couldn't be more satisfied! Was disappointed in my experience tonight. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted after shown to a table. Long gaps between server returning to check in, often after we were completely out of drink or food. This was the poorest service and food I have ever had. I will never go back. They messed up our reservations, slow service, had to take silverware off another table after our food was finally served. The food was awful. Scallops were cold and not well prepared. The grouper had no taste. The corned beef sandwich was served 10 minutes after our meals. Should have come first, nothing special enough to be do late. We will never go back. That was the worst $66.00 meal we have ever had. Would not ever recommend this place. read more
