Stopped by to pick up my boots as they were being replaced under warranty for a manufacturer defect. I walked in and as soon as I took a few steps Francisco looks at me like if didn't have any business there. I stated that I was picking up my boots and gave him my name for reference and he hands me the first shoes he has in front of him thinking I'm a different customer. He seamed to have more interest in his phone then customer service. You get a bad vibe from this guy from the start. read more

After starting at my new job, I was given a voucher from my company to buy a pair of boots . Not knowing anything about boots, I came to Red Wing hoping someone would be there to help me. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Mason. He told me he'd be with me as soon as he finished up with the previous customer. Sure enough, he came over, and asked me what I was looking for. I had no idea and told him that my boots needed to meet some certain specifications. Mason looked at the list of requirements I provided him and set me up with a couple of great options. He walked me through the pros and cons of each one. After I chose two options, he took me to the shoe sizing machine this store has. We got fitted and he grabbed my size from the back. After trying them on, the boots were fitting perfectly, and I was ready to go. Mason rang me up and even provided recommendations on soles that would benefit my foot shape. He was very knowledgeable about the selection and did a great job of making me feel welcome. Thank you for all the help Mason. I read the great reviews so I stopped in. I have been wanting speed hooks for my Mocs to make them easier to lace up. I was immediately greeted by who I assume is the owner. He was very friendly and was happy to help. They only had the black hooks, but mentioned that he could get the other color the next day. I was happy with black and he set off to the back. A couple of minutes later he came out and handed me my now perfect boots. I didn't purchase the boots there but he didn't charge me for the hooks. Now that is above and beyond fantastic customer service. I am a big boot fan and will absolutely be making more purchases here in the future. read more

Shoes are great but customer service needs to be improved. I don't want to say names. I would just say his name starts with letter "F" and I believe he has a managerial position in the store. Mr. F doesn't need to give information in circuitous way. And needs to make sure customers are comfortable in discussing the problem or information. And lastly, he needs to give the receipt after the transaction regardless of the amount and regardless the way how customer paid in cash, debit, or credit card. read more

He dug into the details of my barrage of questions, and happily placed and removed 3 different boots about two times each. Okay, my feet hurt from the lack of arch support I have. I went to Red Wings and got shoes, and arch supports that they sell. I even bought a belt from them. I have been wearing Red Wings shoes for 5 years now. I buy a new pair each year, because I wear them everyday. They are sooo comfortable. If I wear my tennis shoes, I take out the arch supports from Red Wings and use them instead. If you need wide shoes, arch supports, or any other type of shoe, I highly recommend Red Wings. Oh, and by the way, a lot of their shoes are still made in the USA. read more

I went to 2 locations in search of work shoes, this one and the one in Santa Ana. Both had awesome service. I learned about what shoes were the best for me; they pretty much had everything I needed in a slip-resistant, comfortable shoe at a pretty good price. Terribly disappointed in Red Wing boots and the Anaheim store. I have been buying Red Wing boots exclusively for many years. I brought in a newer pair of their higher end boots to this store for what I feel is a defective shoe. It was explained to me that the ONLY reason my issue had occurred was mistreatment of the shoe (the scenario that the manager had described as to why this happened was simply not the case) and since each store is independently owned and operated there was little to no incentive for them to help me. I was left with two choices; find a shoe repair guy that can fix them or throw them in the trash. Two thumbs down for Red Wing and the Anaheim store. read more

I have been purchasing my work boots from this location for 8 years, service has been fair but today was interesting: When I walked in the sales person came in from the back of the store, he asked what I wanted, I said that I wanted to purchase new boots, he asked me how old mine were, I told him about just over a year, he then when in a RANT about how boots need to be replaced every 6 to 8 months for cushioning. He asked which one I wanted, I pointed them out he said " Cant get them" he went behind the counter and held up a stack of cards, and told me he could not get any boots, he stated they stopped making boots in China and due to the virus no one had any in stock, he showed me a clip board with boot numbers and said they were all on back order over 500 boots, according to him, after his sales pitch, he was done and told me to come back next year. Went to the location in Orange, some boots are back ordered but he is trying to find them at other stores or will find me an alternative. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IN ANAHEIM..... read more

I bought 2 pairs of boots black friday 2016 I have worn 1 pair sense and was saving the other as backup. I brought the first pair in to get repaird and have been wearing the second pair for 2 weeks now and the back of the boot came apart. So when I just came in to pick up the first pair from repair I wanted to drop off the second to get repaired. I was told by the ower of the store that they are broken and trash. I explained how Iv worn them for 2 weeks and is there anything that can be done or even a credit on a new pair then? He said no and that I have over worn them and I take them off wrong. So over the last almost year and a half of wearing my first pair in 2 weeks I have over worn the second pair and need to learn how to take my boots off. I dont recomend going to this franchise and getting this type of service. I love redwing boots and this is the first issue I have had but this franchise owner had made me think about if I will be purchasing another pair. I would hope redwing the company would stand behind there product more then he does. read more

I bought a pair of redwing boots here and the soles started to come apart in about three months of use at work! I took them in to get repaired and they put some type of glue and taps on rubber sole boots. I took the boots to another redwing store and was told that they should have replaced the boot because there was obvious manufacture defects on the sole of the boot.....I ended up bringing the boots back to this store and they wanted to try and repair them once again and would not replace the boot......he said it was company policy even though the other store said they would be able to replace them if they needed to! read more
