I have been meaning to write this review for awhile. I first came in this location about a year ago with my son. The store clerk ( Chris Johnson) greeted us and told us that he was alone, but he would be with us as soon as possible. This man was a miracle worker. Not only was he working ALONE, which is highly unsafe in these days and times, he had the most rudest people to wait on. They were inpatient and demanding. I will say this he took it all in stride and gave great customer service/care. I am a nurse and I was buying insoles for myself and my son. When it was our turn to be waited on Christopher waited on us with patience and answered our questions, even when the other customers were interrupting while he helped us. Long story short I came back into this location on Thursday 8/7, again Christopher was present. Thankfully the store was much quieter and I was able to say what should have been said a year ago: Christopher Johnson thank you for being knowledgeable, patient, and OUTSTANDING, at your job. I know, we are overall the minority in the industries that require these types of shoes, but we are coming up so get ready! My coworker was able to find a pair of boots to keep her compliant at work. Save your time, and take your business to a different redwing store. They won't honor their water proof warranty because their system is down since October 2019. My 405 (water proof) are less than 3 month old and water is going through them. Manager said since I bought them after their system went down, they can't replace them. But ironically , they were able to take my money and place a special order when I bought these boots. And by the way, your water proof work boots can't have any scratches either if you want them to get replaced due to water leaking. read more

Sooo we were running some errands today and saw Red Wing Shoe Store nearby. (I need new shoes for work) I went with my husband and 2 girls. I wanted to get really good shoes and I know red wing is the place to go. Well, we walked in and there was one customer getting the best customer service ever. I told my husband "let's wait a little it's only one person" Well... we browsed around for a good 15min. (I mean the store is tiny). Why must people be so rude! I called for my husbands shoes (assuming in store shopping was still unavailable, due to Covid) and the woman who answered the phone was completely rude and seemed very annoyed at my call. She informed me the store is open for shopping. When we go in store to find the shoes we want. Good service - they held some shoes for us that we needed to work at a factory that were steel toe and the socks that were recommended are my favorite. They provide enough cushion for comfort and I actually wear them running now as well. This place is at the far corner next to the grocery store. They measure your foot and mine was really wide and swollen after work hours. I'd come back to buy more socks - I look forward to wearing them since I only have one pair! read more

Went here today to purchase women's work boots. Unfortunately they only had TWO to choose from. However, the manager Val (I think) was helpful in helping me find a boot I needed for work and explained the reason why they didn't carry many women shoes. Less one star for no options for women and due to the Christmas holiday season they did not have any furry sheepskin slippers.
