They're now carrying some serious footwear for athletes... shoes like Hoka, Lotto, Prince, and more! Whether you're out on the tennis court or playing pickleball, you no longer have to leave SOMD to find the right kicks. I'm talking real performance shoes, not just your typical gym shoes. If you're looking for shoes that actually support your game and you live in SOMD, this is the spot. Big shoutout to Tavion (or was it Trayvon? My sincerest apologies if I got it wrong!) for being so knowledgeable and taking the time to walk me through their massive selection. He was super helpful and really seemed to know his stuff. I'm one of the many tennis players that dwell in SOMD, and we needed a better local provider. And while their tennis equipment selection may not rival that of a dedicated pro shop, it's more than enough for beginners and intermediate players. Plenty of rackets, balls, and accessories to get your game going without breaking the bank. All in all, I'm seriously impressed with what Dick's Sporting Goods in Waldorf has done here. They didn't select majority of the things, stating they were winding down on summer clothes, fine - BUT there was a red velvet dress in there, a fall skirt, a wool skirt, some jeans... I only offered things in great condition. Of the 3 things they did select, including a perfectly in tact Ralph Lauren dress, some lovely boutique lilac palazzo pants that were never worn, those two items alone cost more than $200. To offer $10 store credit was a slap in the face lol like what?! Let me take this stuff back and put it on Poshmark or the real real.

Today I went to look for holiday decor but the shelves were pretty empty. Although the shelves were empty the store was not messy like many other Targets are. I usually experience great customer service at this location. The price of Target items is always a bit questionable in my opinion. I don't think you can really complain though because Target is truly an experience. I can say I swish this location offered more variety like other locations in the Virginia area that seem to offer more high end products. You can always find something you "need" at Target. So no real complaints other than the lines with cashiers are always closed.
