I think it was a wishful thinking that I would get decent Chinese takeout in Moab. I did not want to spend a lot for dinner so my daughter and I found this food truck. It is one of the many food trucks at the food truck park. The service was fine, but when one of the side option is white rice I should have known. Isn't supposed to be a given thing that white rice would be the standard part of the food? Anyway, my daughter ordered kungpao chicken, and she said it was decent. Accidentally stumbled upon this food truck area while walking down the main strip in Moab! We were getting kinda hungry and saw there were lots of options! I listed off all the options and my daughter choice of food was Chinese because she "really likes the noodles". Red wok kitchen was our pick since from what I saw was the only Chinese there. The prices were priced very fair for very large portions I couldn't even finish it! My daughter was no where near close to finishing hers! 2 main entrees and a choice of noodles or rice for $12.95 which I thought was a good deal! We waited about 5 minutes and our little buzzer had gone off that food was ready! Very sweet people. Delicious food! The orange chicken was very flavorful of the "orange"! And the sesame chicken was perfectly cooked! The noodles were a bit sweeter than compared to other Chinese restaurants but over all still tasty! read more

Everyone was wearing masks and gloves inside the truck. I ordered 2 seperate times right before they closed and it took a while for it to come out. The orange and sesame chicken came with the sauce in the side in the dame box which was great because it was for 2 little kids so it reduced the mess by a lot. All the main courses were delicious! The beef was peppered and the chicken was breaded with a good flavored batter. The rice and noodles were nothing to rave about though. I honestly didn't like the flavor at all for either but am glad the entrees were delicious. read more

Had the kung pao chicken, orange chicken and fried rice. I was expecting the usual cheap buffet style Chinese food but it wasn't even that good. The kung pao not only had no heat or flavor at all. The orange chicken was also completely flavorless and the texture of the "chicken" was terrible even for cheap Chinese. read more

Taste was pretty awful, I ordered the Generals Chicken and there was no sauce, no taste, just breaded chicken with somewhat of a taste. If you want a quick review, in short, don't eat here, ever. Now, if you want the detailed review, read on. I ordered a two item entree plate but they must have made a mistake because what I received resembled a bowl of soup rather than some semblance of Chinese style food. Let me start with the "fried rice." Most of us are familiar with the concept of fried rice and what it's supposed to taste like/be made of. This my friends, was literally white rice drowned in soy sauce. With nothing else. No egg, no vegetables of any kind. It tasted like I poured soy sauce in my mouth. Look at their own picture of their rice and see for yourself. Then, the "Kung Pao" chicken. Well, if you were expecting at the very least a Panda Express level of quality, you would be disappointed. It contained celery chunks, circles of carrot, a tiny amount of peanuts and an even smaller amount of chicken. I could forgive the very light portion of chicken if it wasn't drowned in grease. I was served In the typical 3 compartment styrofoam tray, well the compartments with the entrees were literally filled to the brim with nasty brown grease. I'm no health nut, but this was just plain disgusting. Tasted just as bad as it looked to. Now, onto the serious concern. The Mongolian Beef. I got maybe one/two bites before I dumped the whole tray. Why you might ask? The beef tasted/smelled like fish. They don't serve any seafood so it's not possible that there was some sort of cross contamination in the pan/fryer. More likely the meat had gone rancid. This is unacceptable. Did I bother asking for a refund, no. We are tourists from Southern California, I don't live here so I don't want to bother trying to mess around with getting refunds for not posting a review, moneys spent, I'd rather leave my review to warn others of the atrocity here that they call the "Red Wok Kitchen." read more

It's definitely one of the more affordable places to eat in Moab. Don't expect it to be Panda Express. We ordered three two-item combos. One beef & broccoli and orange chicken. One sweet & sour and sesame chicken. And one Kung Pow chicken and Mongolian beef. All the chicken was the same. The only difference was a tiny plastic container of sauce for each flavor. The flavor of the sauces seemed off or maybe even watered down. The portions of chicken were ample, though, and our kids gobbled then up. The beef & broccoli consisted mostly of broccoli and chopped celery. There were only nfour tiny pieces of beef and the flavor was off. The Kung Pau chicken and Mongolian beef had pretty b of meat to vegetables was off; too many vegetables and not enough meat. The friend rice and noodles in our combo plates were very plain. The fried rice was just browned with, what I'm guessing is, soy sauce; no eggs, ham, or vegetables. The noodles didn't have vegetables with them either. I was left a little disappointed with the food here. There's definitely room for improvement and for this food truck to be great. My recommendation is to only eat here if you are on a tight budget and can't afford to eat at the pricey restaurants in town. read more

However, about a few hours after eating, my boyfriend and I both felt like we had gut rot and then a couple hours after that we started to feel nauseated.
