Having catered for a 4th of July party with them, I was impressed. So, I went back for lunch yesterday. It is like walking into your grandmother's house for a meal. The cakes all look homemade, the sandwiches look as if they are done with love and, care. The place was full and, everyone looked as if this was their special go to place. Just seeing a restaurant truly care, instead of going through the motions is so special. The only downside, for me, is the lack of vegan options. I got their cranberry kale salad, which had obviously been sitting in their deli case a little too long. (Maybe that means there aren't a lot of weirdo vegans, like me in the area. lol.) My friend got a grilled cheese and, lemon cake. It was a beautiful plate. Again, obviously made with love. While I wold have loved to have had a hummus wrap or, vegan soup...I was really pretty happy to soak in the positive vibe. This is a special place. read more

This place is a gem. The food was very fresh and creative, which is two big pluses. NOT a chain. Pimento cheese sandwich with chunky tomato soup. Cakes are fantastic, prices reasonable. A great find for wonderful tasty food. Ordered their Cobb Salad with Chipotle Vinaigrette. Nice and tangy. It came with a Sweet Potato Muffin which was dang good. The service is fast and staff are friendly. Lots of choices of salads, soups and sandwiches. Place was packed but still had plenty of room for me to enjoy lunch. I love the meatloaf panini, mainly because I love meatloaf anything, but when you add grilled onions I am so there. The combination of all the ingredients makes this a great meal. The only thing better would be to have Keylime pie for dessert because I am all about Keylime pie. read more

We ate at the Redbud Deli today based on current Yelp reviews. This is now our new favorite restaurant! Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Everything is fresh and home made. We had the Carolina pork tacos and the Average Joe sandwich. They were both excellent, plus since it was our first time, they even offered us a free desert. The strawberry cake is amazing. The staff is excellent. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner. Kick the corporate restaurants to the curb and stop by the Redbud Deli. You will not be disappointed. read more

I travel a lot for work and pop into sandwich shops often and this by far one of the best I have been to. The menu has several unique options and they offer baked goods, chicken salad, pimento cheese all to purchase to take home as well. This is the closest version Morristown has to a Panera or Jason's Deli. The menu items include soups, salads, subs, and panini sandwiches while service is quick and friendly. The desserts are also very good - my favorites are the chocolate chip cookies and brownies! The best part is that the menu items are decently priced making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch during working hours. Love love love redbud! First and foremost the ladies working in there are so sweet and genuine. They made sure everything was to our liking and it was! What a gem! Camping at nearby Panther Creek State Park and felt like going into town for dinner. Thank goodness we found Redbud. For starters, the salsa was delicious and obviously freshly made-no jarred stuff here! Same with the pimento cheese and pulled pork that they combine into a scrumptious panini-all made on site. We also tried the Low Country Grits with shrimp: Portobello mushrooms, red pepper strips, andouille sausage and shrimp all in an amazing cream sauce over grits. It was so good I was able to successfully avoid worrying about how many calories must have been in it! Took home some homemade chicken salad for tomorrow's lunch along with a selection of desserts. Best camping food ever! Seriously, this place looks unassuming but the quality of the food would allow it to hold its own in cities much larger than Morristown. Finally, the staff was extremely friendly and the food came out of the kitchen in record time. read more
