Food was good. Huge lunch portions. Attentive wait staff. Don't let the drive thru or clutter outside scare you. It's yummy.

Came in for lunch and enjoyed it very much. When you come in the door there isn't a hostess station or sign so we just stood there a few minutes and a server came and told us to sit anywhere. We were brought chips and salsa and our server took our drink order. We both ordered unsweetened tea. She brought our drinks and we placed our order. I ordered the lunch taquitos plus cheese dip. My husband ordered the Speedy Gonzales. The chips and salsa were delicious. The chips weren't greasy at all. They were also thick enough that they didn't break. Our meals were Huge, especially for lunch! Both came with rice and beans. My taquitos were excellent and my husband loved his also. I love the huge paintings on the walls! The tables and booths were the typical bright Mexican decor. We enjoyed our lunch very much and will definitely return. read more

I'm not from this area but I'm here for a business trip. I was looking for a place to eat close to the hotel (Fairfield Inn) because I didn't want to drive anymore. El Azteca was a 3 minute drive which was perfect. I called and order Jalisco Fajitas with corn tortillas and a horchata for carry out. As you can see in the photo the portions were big. Typical Mexican restaurant. Tacos didn't come with tomatoes so we added. Was charged $2.50. That was a ripoff. The salsa was good. The waitress was attentive. Probably won't go back though. read more

I just moved from Dallas and have yet to find decent Mexican food until I came here. Everything was good and everyone we were with are all their food. The chicken was a tad dry but everything else made up for it. The only thing they need is homemade tortillas. We'll be back often. read more

Food is good but the service is slow. Always have to pull around because they don't answer the drive thru. I have also had several occasions where they have left stuff off my order and I have had to go back. Prices on their drive thru menu are not updated and are lower so when you get your total it is a lot more expensive. When I asked them they said the signs prices are wrong and gave me a paper menu with the correct prices after I had already placed an order and paid. read more

This place was worst ever in town ordered door dash and called to add 2 bags of chips with my 2 cheese dips and salsa and got no chips on delivery and called to complain then they acted like they couldn't speak English 3 meals later is was over 90 bucks and that wasn't the problem the problem was they couldn't get order right or compensate for what was missing.. if you wanna waste your money and not get what you ordered then order them if not go somewhere else.. read more

Terrible ! We got a waiter that couldn't speak much English and got the order wrong and we ended up with a Chili Verde Combination Plate when we asked for a Burrito and Fajitas and then I realized he asked my husband if he wanted flour or Corn Tortillas which I then thought to myself wait, He is having a burrito so I go to Juan and I tell him la comida no es correcta. I explained what we wanted and he ends up bringing the Burrito and the Combo plate. Seriously! The food wasn't hot either my fajitas were warm at best and the tortillas were barely warmed at all. Then when we were leaving, the hostess chose that time to teach an employee how to use the register and execute card payments on our time. We said could you teach him on your time not ours please we have someplace to be. She said oh, you don't want to wait while I train him? we said no and she said oh, and continued anyway and then simply asked how was the food. No bueno and no más negocios de nosotros. Great New Mexican restaurant in Morristown. They remodeled the interior and it is bright and clean. They have a great menu with lots of variety. The kids menu is also great, even for kids that don't like Mexican food. All the food was fresh and delicious. The seafood fajita was out of this world. Even the chips and salsa were great. The service was also top notch. The servers were friendly and very attentive. This restaurant is highly recommended! read more

The food is delicious and very generous portions. I had a giant pineapple carved out with ample shrimp and miscellaneous food. My only reason this is not 5 stars is due to a drunk person who apparently a regular coming around and attempting to interact with patrons. The staff knew about him, but he is apparently allowed still frequent the restaurant. Again, food is yummy, but the manager should have kicked him out. read more

I am from Texas and TX Mex food hard to find. There are several good Mexican restaurants in Morristown. This is truly one of BEST the owner is great family man Cergio, has 4 boys and dedicated to his family and restaurant.
