Avoid this company at all costs! Absolutely disgusting. They missed a scheduled plumbing appointment, despite confirming it via email. Their excuse was that I hadn't signed a cost estimate, which they did not send! They cannot provide the date/time they sent the cost estimate. All I got was a confirmation email. Their unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for their commitments caused major inconvenience as a building water shut-off occurred due to the plumbing work. I called on a Saturday after my hot water tank blew out. They dispatched a technician to come out and when Pepe arrived he jumped right in and diagnosed that a new tank was needed. We had roots growing in our main line, which blocked our water flow. Water , dirt, and roots backed up into our shower and tub. We called Reddi and scheduled a fix. Pepe came out and assessed the situation. The problem was that our clean-outs were buried. Pepe was able to locate the buried clean-outs, cut up all the roots in the line, and restore the flow within three (3) hours, not to mention in 100 degree weather. Amazing work! Before calling Reddi Services I'd had 7 repair technicians come out to look at my furnace as it was not working correctly and would intermittently shut down so the problem was a more complicated fix. Each of the other companies that came out either sold me a solution that didn't fix the issue or they tried to upsell me an entirely new system. They didn't spend much more than 15-20 minutes looking at my furnace before telling me "it's just old and needs to be replaced" they said I needed a whole new system costing 10k+. I didn't have a good feeling about any of them and in fact several of them made me extremely uncomfortable. Then Mattox arrived with Reddi Services. I instantly felt at ease with him. I felt he was genuinely trying to find the problem so he could fix my furnace. Mattox was respectful, polite, good natured, honest, well-mannered and a straight shooter. He spent a good 1.5 hours diagnosing my furnace issue. He wanted to be certain to find the real problem and not make random guesses. He went out of his way to access the right tools to do a proper diagnostic. Once he was certain of the issue, he offered to fix it right then but stated that he needed to pick the part up from his office. He stepped out and returned and fixed the issue. this review comes from a long time customer. I called them for air conditioning service. I have used them for over 10 years for plumbing. our system started blowing warm air. The serviceman opened up the unit and the Freon was gone. So he recharged the system and put soap on some joints. He could not find the leak and asked me if I wanted him to use a sniffer. It was going to be almost $300 extra!!! What choice do I have!? You can buy a brand new sniffer for less than that. I was advised that he found the leak and the charge was going to be $1600, plus the $300 for the sniffer charge. They had me over a barrel and they knew it. I have friends in the business (not local) that said I was ripped off. I knew that. The only way I can fight back is to let others know and never use them again. I don't mind them making a living but it is wrong to rip people off. read more

I received a three hour window when they would arrive. Later that day, during the window, I was advised that they would arrive in 20 to 45 minutes. 90 minutes later they arrived. No apology, no text in the interim. They performed two tasks: 1) secured a bathroom faucet that had become loose (thankfully they made short work of this task), and 2) attempted to clear a drain line behind washing machine. Invoice states that that 1/4 inch cable cannot progress through trap. Curious because same company cleared same line during March 2021 with 1/2 inch cable. $174 was total. Perhaps, because two techs were sent. Curious again because it only took one tech to clear line going on 4 years ago. After appointment, they texted for feedback. I ignored. A couple of days later they sent an email. I replied and they auto replied they were going to get back to me as soon as possible. Didn't happen. read more

Gerald Schulz of Jan Ashford Plumbing. Our Hero! EARLY one Thursday morning I went into my garage to find the bypass valve on my water softener appliance had broke. Water was spraying everywhere, against the wall shared with my closet, against the garage ceiling, and spraying my propane hot water heater. Gerald showed up EARLY, within about an hour of me calling. (*Considering where I live, this is a GREAT response time.) We weren't able to easily replace the water softener and decided to install a different system. While waiting for parts to be gathered (I had to go to two places, and then some...) he put in a bypass that worked, so we had water. Before he left I asked him to help me relight the water heater. The damn thing exploded! Fortunately, neither of us were hurt, but it meant I had to buy a water heater, "RIGHT NOW." Gerald went and picked one up and came right back. I had a new water heater in place before noon that day. The replacement water softener system had problems too and Gerald worked hard to get it right, no leaks, no iffy situations. We had to make a few emergency trips to the hardware store, but Gerald got the system working. He really went above and beyond to help us. read more

He asked me how to spell my name and then we had a little laugh about it, and he was very easy to set up an appt. with. We knew we had a clogged garbage disposal and he had someone come over that day to look at it. Pepe arrived and was extremely courteous. He wore a mask, as did we, and he covered his shoes before entering the house. After looking under the sink he knew that the disposal had rust on the bottom and was leaking, and there was nothing to fix. They advised I would be next. No one showed; no one called. They did arrive the next day. The plumber advised due to the fact this job would take three hours, it would be $400. I had the very best plumber experience I have ever had! There was a smell under my kitchen sink and a leak that prompted me to call a handyman. I spoke to a handyman that told me he thought I needed a plumber and was kind enough to text me his plumber's number. I called and was told they could send someone out the next day, which was a Saturday. That alone impressed me. Matt Mattox came over the next day( I was also sent a text message with a picture so I knew who was coming, again a huge plus)! Matt was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He knew immediately what the problem was, my garbage disposal was leaking and needed to be replaced(it was going on 20 years) Matt asked me if I wanted him to replace it or I can go buy one but he did have one in his truck. I opted to have him replace it. I also have an RO machine with about 8 filters that needed the filters replaced and he said he would try to do that as well even though they normally did not do that. Matt was quick, extremely clean and even asked me when he was finished if I wanted him to put my things back under the sink. He stayed to make sure there were no leaks and to double check his work. He took all the garbage with him! Matt told me all about a program they have that discounts all materials and labor and gives you two free inspections a year. If I purchased that program, with the discounts on the two things I had done that day and the discount on the garbage disposal, my final bill would actually be less! Of course I went for it.
