We opted to wait til the next morning and Rene showed up at 6:30AM, replaced our AC unit's motor (quicker than expected), hosed down our unit, and offered great advice for maintenance and what to expect moving forward. Last time (a couple years ago), Flores also showed up quickly and repaired our unit, was so helpful and did a great job accommodating our budget as best as he could. Both experts felt safe and professional. With unbearable summer heat causing so many AC issues around the Valley, it can be hard to get someone to fix AC units to the house quickly, and they haven't disappointed yet. They've maintained our current unit well and have helped us to understand what it needs to keep going for many more years rather than treating it as disposable or pushing us to replace it. They did a big attic insulation project for us a few years ago that has completely changed our comfort in our 1950s home, 1000% worth it. They gave us lots of good advice and options for that project including correcting related/unrelated deficiencies from the prior installers. We've continued wth their plan for maintenance which has definitely been a good value for us. Matthew came out for our regular unit check this month and noted several issues that we didn't expect, but was able to address them same day very fairly, honestly, transparently. I appreciate his clear explanations of the deficiencies and the work done (with pictures!) so I don't have to get up on the roof too. It's a huge relief knowing our unit is now in good working order and not bound to fail on us in August.

Each salesperson would beat the other contractors quotes. Danette is the one who informed me to always look at the model numbers they are quoting you with. If you don't go with Coolzone if there's anything you read about this is read the description of work but the model number and see what they are trying to give you. These companies are trying to sell you the cheaper brand Example a new build carrier ac. It's a carrier but a new build brand, basically cheaper but if you want a true Carrier brand go off the carrier website and make sure you tell them you want the model number off the website. Anyways with Danette's information and honestly showed integrity. If you're liking Danette quotes and information then Dakota will follow up to do a walk around to see if there's any final touches before installation who is very knowledgeable and professional. No matter how expensive you buy a brand Trane Carrier or whatever the single most important thing in your investment is the INSTALLATION. The morning of installation Josh, Tom , and Tylor showed up on time and very professional and will always stop what they're doing to answer your questions. These guys showed up Approximately 730ish in the morning and stayed all the way until 730 at night to make sure the installation was superb. They would have stayed longer if I or customer wouldn't be happy. I'm a customer who likes small business contractors cuz these bigger ones have to make there money back from tv ads and commercials. So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! I just bought this house so I'm sure they haven't been cleaned in ages (if ever), but King Air Duct Cleaning got us rolling again quickly! Thank you-would highly recommend!

I feel like there is a lot of promotion for vendors because they are a friend yet the consumer doesn't have any real life experience with that company. I want to give a honest review of a GREAT company. The other night at 10:00 PM my A/C went out on my 1.5 year old home. I called the company who installed our A/C's and currently had the warranty contract on our home (Chas Roberts). They told me they couldn't get out to my house for five days - awesome, except for the fact that my 2 year old baby had strep throat and he and my daughter couldn't sleep.... I tried finding somebody nearby and called about 25 different places. Nobody answered or even called back.... I called West Coast Plumbing & Air and they answered the phone (at 11:00 PM).... I was told they would see what they could do and call me right back. They called me in less than 5 minutes and said a technician was on his way. He fixed my capacitor in just a few minutes and saved the day without any additional "after hours" fees or junk fees that you hear horror stories about! :) In addition, I have used West Coast one other time for a plumbing issue in my master bathroom shower. The part was discontinued and the plumber ended up going to two different stores to find something that he could "make work" to solve the leak. His creative thinking saved me from having to rip out my newly tiled shower to fix something that was done incorrectly in the internal plumbing. After speaking with a previous plumbing and air conditioning company regarding my air conditioner, I was referred to West Coast Plumbing & Air by my neighbor. The previous company said my air conditioner had gone out and gave me an outragous estimate, for replacing the air conditioner unit and said that was the best they could recommend. In tears, I called West Coast Plumbing & Air and they sent a tech out right away. Fearful of this techs opinion, I waited to tear the damaged. Not only did West Coast Plumbing & Air save the day but they also saved my bank account as well!!! The tech explained in great detail what was going on with my air conditioning unit and that the unit was fairly new and in good condition . The only issue was that the unit wasn't charged up with freon, which helps keep the air cool. After I was SO SO HAPPY that I decided to call them. They were honest, caring, and took the time to explain things to me so that I understood what needed to be done and what I was spending my money for. I was so relieved that I asked the tech to give me an estimate for some plumbing work that needed to be repaired at the home, and he was back the following week to complete that work as well. PLEASE, PLEASE listen to what I"m telling you, BEFORE having any work done call West Coast Plumbing & Air first, and get the opinion of AN HONEST and CARING company, before getting taken to the cleaners, like what almost happened to me. I recently had a clogged drain line and since I am on a septic tank with no above ground access, I did not know which to call - a septic tank company or a plumber. Could not find anyone who did both although several claimed they did. After the weekend past I finally decided on a lumber, who did not show up nor call. I got back on the internet and in desperation called West Coast. The man who answered was John, the owner. He was very nice and discussed my problem patiently. He said he would send Moses out between 8 and 10 AM since I declined the offer to send someone at 10PM that night. Moses called at 8:05 AM to say he was in route and arrived shortly thereafter. He was a really nice young man who went over all the alternatives to resolve the problem and I decided on one. He went to work to clear the drain line. Fortunately that was the problem and I was finally, after 6 days able to run water! What a relief! I can't thank them enough for their fine and competent service as showing up on time and solving the problem promptly was so appreciated! Can't ask for more than that!! A major break in the water line occurred behind our park model this past Wed. while we were out! The soil was saturated and the water flowed under the unit as well as between our neighbour's place & ours. The park workers realized this was a major problem & the WCP&A Co. was called. Jim H. the plumber arrived first and called Steve D. to remove our air conditioner. These two gentlemen worked through the night digging 5 feet deep to find that the roots of the mesquite tree had caused the rupture. They worked until early morning, went home to wash & rest and were diligently back at it less than 4 hours later. Jim & Steve got this major issue resolved as well as a secondary issue. They conducted themselves in the most gentlemanly fashion, were reassuring and very courteous. What a great team! We give praise because praise is deserved! The job was done by mid-Monday. The air conditioning system was reinstalled and is working very well. The work site was cleaned-up and we are thankful for these dedicated workers. We have recommended the WCP&A Co. to our friends. Our experience with West Coast was nothing short of amazing. Obviously, not having a working AC unit in Arizona is a very frustrating experience (Especially when your home is only 2.5 years old). When we first started experiencing issues, we first reached out to Chas Roberts (which was a mistake). We continued to have problems and we came across West Coast through our neighborhood Facebook page. Jerry, Nate, and their team began coming out to try and fix our AC unit from hell. I honestly believe we had lemon unit, as they would fix the problem before it eventually going out again. What my wife and I appreciated was their customer service and communication with us throughout the whole process. Eventually, we made the decision to replace our AC unit and both Jerry and Nate helped us select which unit would be best for us. The day of all days...sick toddler, young baby, and another 115 degree day! It was bedtime and we noticed our A/C wasn't blowing cold air. After dreaded flashbacks to past summers without air conditioning, I immediately asked for help from friends. Michelle immediately responded as she had a tech in our area. Steve came right over after a previous appointment and was able to fix our A/C unit promptly. Luckily, it was only our capacitor and nothing else that was broken. My lady bought a house last year. We had some recommendations from our inspector on our HVAC system. I had West Coast plumbing and air come out to check it out and to give us a second opinion upon move-in. Rob was our tech and gave us an honest evaluation of our old system. He gave great recommendations saved us a bunch of money in the repair process. It was a great experience, we couldn't be happier. I cannot say enough about West Coast Plumbing. Last week I had an appointment for a possible leak from my AC. Turned out it was not the AC. Because Steve, our Tech, took the time to poke around in a Hot Hot attic for us he discovered the leak location. He called their Plumbing side and within a few hours I had a plumber on site. Dave responded and also braved the hot attic. He found the issue and returned within the week to make the repairs! WOW! Just when you thought plumbers were all wet. Here is a compnay that goes above and beyond to help you, It was hot and late and they still came out to look at my unit on the roof and they did not charge for extra and were truthful of what needed. If you need an honest HVAC company right here is one. I called because my hvac condenser fan stopped working. I attempted to repair it myself and hit a roadblock. They sent out a guy was able to be at my house within a few hours (even ahead of schedule). He troubleshooted it and within 30 min we were back up and running. I've used them twice now. Once for a plumbing problem and once for a heater problem. I was very satisfied with both visits. Each time I called them in the morning to get them to come out. They were at my house within hours. Fixed the problem quickly and for a reasonable price. I will definitely use them from now on. read more

I have had 2 hot water heaters installed with them and have been very pleased with the installations in both. I had a Bradford White water heater installed by them in 2018. And while I have seen many statements saying they are the best in the industry, was disappointed when in failed after only 8 years. I was told by them, that this was pretty normal for water heaters. I have been around for many years and in my experiences, the Bradford White lasted about half as long as all other water heaters I have owned. In, addition, the installation and warranty costs about 4x the cost of the heater, so I felt that this was a lot of expense for such a short lifespan. I was still suffering from sticker shock when my Bradford White failed. I called Benjamin Franklin hoping I could get some warranty compensation. Wouldn't you know, the warranty had just expired. Ugh! Okay, one of the things that Benjamin Franklin is very good at is fast service. They were out at my house the same day. Kudos for that! This time I was told that I would get better longevity and a better warranty with a Navien tankless unit. I had always wanted to try one of these. They are supposed to be more efficient as well because they don't have to keep 50 gallons of water hot. Okay, they had my ear, but again, the unit was terribly expensive; a little more than 4x the cost of the $2,000.00 unit. That includes the service calls to clean the unit once/year for the 10 year warranty term. This is required to keep from voiding the warranty and important with these units. The installation was done in one long day. The tech was here until about 8pm, but did a very nice job. Last, I expressed my concern to the tech. that sold the unit to me, about the cost of the tankless unit, he told me that there were federal incentives and Mfr. rebates that would help. After the installation, I contacted the Mfr. and was told that there were no rebates or incentives for 2026. Seems Benjamin Franklin should have known this. Professional work, super-fast service, but really expensive.

They were understanding of our budget and were creative in finding a way for us to stay within our comfort zone. Also, they were quick to get the units installed. We were concerned that we would be without AC for a week but Kyle was able to get us on the schedule a day later!
