Both had a good amount of toppings, tasted fresh, the crust was a bit on the softer side or burnt in places so a more even cooking would've been better. Service - we waited over 25 mins for our 2 pizzas. There was no line to order, a few families waiting. The staff behind the counter seemed to be having fun and being silly, which hey sure if the restaurant is empty, but I'm sure that didn't help our long wait. Not cool! Overall, good if you have time to wait but not the option if you're hungry.

Arrived on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, with only 2 other small tables occupied. We were greeted by the chef upon entry, and promptly asked to place our orders at the counter, then seat ourselves. We ordered 3 pizzas for the 3 of us and all were devoured; Salsicca (not pictured since it came out first and I forgot a picture), Margherita and the Bianca. We also ordered 2 on tap IPAs and a bottled Coke. We enjoyed the pizzas, great dough with a wonderfully flame fired taste, but the toppings left something to be desired. The Bianca could use something fresh like some lemon slices and definitely more basil, as I got one leaf per slice. Staff was friendly, dining area was clean and we'd definitely return again if passing through Redding. As a pizza snob, it's not the best I've ever had, but definitely a tasty pizza and worth a try. Kudos to the chef who mentioned he started on an Ooni. Quite the progression! As we were finishing our meal around 7:15p, I overheard them turn a customer away, as they had sold out of dough. Come early if you don't want to risk it for the night.

Inside is nice and neat, we're near the first ones to arrive just after 11 am. The buffet is $13.50 plus tax and includes a refillable drink. It runs till 2pm I think. I told them I'd be doing a chargeback and never ordering again. Not because of the pizza, but because of the way they handled the situation. If I owned a restaurant, I'd remake that pizza in a heartbeat. Not because I had to, but because I'd want that customer to come back. That's how you build trust. That's how you build legacy. So here's my warning to anyone considering this place: if you ever have an issue, whether it's your fault or theirs, don't expect compassion. Don't expect accountability. And don't expect them to care about your experience once they've got your money. This wasn't just bad service. It was a missed opportunity to do right by someone who was honest, respectful, and willing to pay for quality. They chose short-term profit over long-term reputation. And that says everything. There used to be a time in This town ( Redding) that you could get a good pizza almost anywhere. Now it seems like in the last few years you can't find a pizza remotely close to what they advertise !! We have been searching for a good pizza and our latest try was Ultimate Pizza and it was the WORST so far, we were very disappointed !!! If anyone can tells us where we can get a good pizza throw it out on Yelp and let us know! The toppings didn't taste fresh and they were very scarcely placed on the pizza!! I could have gotten a better pizza at little Ceasars for $5 instead of $30!! read more

Used to love your pizza! Walked in to pick up a call in order, we're the only ones in there and the employees looked at us as if we were interupting them. Get to the counter to pay and realize the two employees are stoned to the bone. Not to mention the girl is wearing some kind of half shirt with fringe and a giant belly button ring is peaking through at us YUCK ! I was totally put off by the whole experience and the pizza wasn't nearly as good as it use to be. Won't be back any time soon. read more

They always have consistently delicious pizza. Some pizza restaurants skimp on their toppings but RUP adds more. We stopped there one Sunday morning & didn't have a coupon so the manager asked us to go to their website on our IPhone & honored the coupon that we pulled up via the phone. She didn't have to do that but that great service is one of the reasons we keep coming back. read more

I'm not sure what they put in the sauce but omg its like a controlled substance. Once you start eating its hard to hold back. You just want to try more pizza there after getting your faves.
