I was repeatedly charged for repairs and parts without them ever taking the time to communicate with the original manufacturer to verify what should have been covered under warranty. I trusted their recommendations and continued paying because I believed they were acting in my best interest. My machine was not even a year old when they informed me that the pump needed to be replaced. Later, I was told the engine had failed and that I would be responsible for the cost. After weeks of going back and forth, the engine was eventually replaced only after I requested the equipment specifications and details regarding the work performed. My requests for documentation and information about my own machine were not handled professionally. I was never contacted for authorization before repairs were completed, nor was I properly notified when parts arrived. I was simply called and told my machine was ready for pickup. After receiving the machine, I took it to another shop for an inspection and was advised that the pump issue still remained and that additional problems existed. When I met with the owner to discuss my concerns, I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. Instead of addressing my questions professionally, I was told he no longer wanted to do business with me simply because I asked for the specifications and details of the repairs performed on my equipment. I even purchased a 9k Landa machine from them. I was made to feel like I was wrong for wanting transparency about a machine that belongs to my business. During the pandemic/shut-down I picked up sewing and my machines went through a lot. I brought my machines in early Jan 2022, I think everyone else in town did the same. Two and half weeks turned into three and a half weeks however, please don't let the time frame deter you from bringing your sewing machine for repair or maintenance. The employees are very knowledgeable and professional. The base price covered the repairs and maintenance for both machines. Both machines are now running so smoothly. I mentioned to one of the staff I had plans to get rid of the old Singer. He said keep it, it'll outlast me. Next time, I'm gonna skip the DIY maintenance and just bring them in.
