On our visit, there were several sketchy people in the lot and some going to the adjoining liquor store. While most of the customers were nice family looking people, a few of them were on the sketchier side too. If this were the only issue, we would go back, but there were other issues as well. However, for the positives, parking was limited, but sufficient. Business was good and there was both a line and numerous people waiting for their food. The order area is well lit at night. Most of all, the servers are very friendly, helpful, and patient. Unfortunately, the rest of the downside are the most important things. The serving cup size is good, but the ratio of custard to hot fudge/toppings was way off. Most places do not give enough fudge/chocolate sauce/toppings, but here the ratio was half and half. This MIGHT have been ok if the fudge and toppings were layered as at other places that do not skimp on toppings, but here the fudge/toppings were the top half of the cup and the custard at the bottom. This made it difficult to get the custard and to get a proper ratio of custard to topping. Kind of like rationing your meat and rice or potatoes so you have some for each bite--you could not do this with the custard and toppings here. The custard quality seemed like it might be ok, but it was hard to tell due to the ratio and serving structure. Overall, Nielson's custard has the more standard concretes with mix ins and a larger portion size than Luv-it. Freddy's frozen custard, although not as good as Nielson's was still also better than Luv-it. If Luv-it could either layer its toppings and you have concrete custard consistency, then it could be rated higher. As is, you are better off driving the distance to Nielson's or just going to Freddys. Still, if you must go to Luv-it, just be aware of your surroundings and you will still get an ok dessert.

My husband and daughter wanted something sweet. My husband wanted ice cream and my daughter wanted donuts so....we ended up here. Thought it would be the perfect answer to both. Welllllll. First of all the EXPERIENCE from the min we walked in the door and were warmly greeted by a jolly "YOOOOOO" from the smiling ladies who worked there & invited us in and asked if we had been there before seemed very promising. One young lady in particular explained the menu and what made Yonuts popular and helped my hubby and daughter make their decisions. They got a cookies and cream something or other, that was on the menu and the other was a build your own deal. Which ended up being PB ice cream filled donut sando and I think it had Cinnamon & Sugar coating. We took them To-Go and as soon as we got home they tore into them. They went 1/2 & 1/2 to try both flavors. The Cookies & Cream was cute with its frosting squirt on top and some broken cookie pieces but it did not wow them. They next went in on the PB Sando and really liked the ice cream but were disappointed in the actual donut and wished there wasn't the excessive amount of C & S coating. Now that may have been their fault for not knowing that's how it came and they could have easily asked for it without. Maybe the donuts have to be a certain consistency and the wow is not really supposed to be focused not the donut itself but the ice cream and the cold mixed with hot combo. It just didn't do much for them. Take away, very cute decor, super clean eating area, excellent customer service, fun concept....actual product meh. Seems like the ice cream was their strength.

At least on their web site, they sell for $4 a pop, which is not bad considering what decent ice creams and sweets cost these days. I got to choose from several of their offerings at a work function this week. Although I could only select one, I'm glad that I picked raspberry lime. The rich sweet raspberry with that distinctive tartness of lime coated my mouth every time I shoved it in to melt off another thin layer. Sadly, it ended all too soon, and the lime residue lingers more than the raspberry afterward. They don't offer the most decadent local frozen treats, but at 90 calories for what I enjoyed (CAUTION: it's upwards for 230 for the milk-containing flavors), The Joy Pop Co offers happiness in a relatively guilt-free package. Just don't devour too many in one sitting

When it comes to the strip, i tend to get lost in the chaos of everything but today was a good day as i found Royce Chocolates easily. A friend and I walked in and were immediately greeted by a lovely lady and a lovely gentleman. We walked around a bit to look at all the perfectly staged chocolate displays and chillers. So much selection and honestly if i HAD to choose we would of been there for a while... i wanted it ALL. Made my way to the counter and conversed with "Thomas". Thomas, by the way, is EXCELLENT. Thomas was informative & so very nice - he is a great asset to Royce Chocolates! Thomas gave us a little background of Royce Chocolates and spoke so professionally about what they had to offer in the store. Thomas offered us samples of 4 different NAMA chocolates & a sample of the chocolate-dipped potato chips. Matcha - my fave! Mango Champagne Au Lait Nama chocolates are only made with quality ingredients (you'll immediately know this once u have a piece). Originating in Hokkaido Japan, this high quality and exquisitely made chocolate will have you wanting to make another run to Royce Chocolates! I got the Nama Champagne Chocolates. AMAZING. So creamy and delicious! The chocolate comes in a cute little box and each chocolate is in little perfectly cute bite size squares. Thomas nicely wrapped the box in a thermal bubble sleeve and also put a small ice bag in it so it would keep fresh. (Btw... this chocolates are normally stored cool) and he also gave me a complimentary spray cleaner for my cel phone and ipad! So sweet! I haven't stopped thinking about Nama chocolates since I tortured that entire box of chocolates in one sitting (tummy was very pleased)! And NO, i didn't share. However, i will be going to Royce Chocolates this weekend with my friend who is insisting on getting some of this magnificent chocolate she hears me bragging about. Cant wait.

I had an amazing experience here from the Yelp Elite event so I went back to stock up some on some amazing Royce Chocolates. Today things were different. I did say that I was uncertain about a few flavors that I read about in the catalog. The one I was most interested in she did say was located in the refrigerator and just pointed instead of telling me about it. I just purchased two boxes of the seasonal chocolate covered macadamia chocolates since I know that they are amazing. Side note to locals - I recently found out that we don't always get our three hours of free parking here. Certain Sphere shows are considered to be special events and those evenings cost $30. to park.
