The absolute worst Golf experience I have had in a very long time. The Marshall drove up as we were getting ready to tee off at one of the tee boxes. As we got ready to tee off, he started questioning our handicap and said we should be teeing off in different tees. He then walked behind one of my other playing partners and glared at him as he started to take his shot off the tee. Claimed we were holding up the course though there was nobody in view the entire hole behind at that time. When I told him I didn't appreciate him standing behind us and calling us out, he claimed he could do whatever the hell he wanted as he was the starter here and if I didn't like it and wanted to argue he was gonna go grab the pro and have me thrown off the course. I told him I wasn't here to argue and I'm just gonna head home. And then he proceeded to tell us if he had his way we wouldn't be teeing off any of the tee boxes today. I told him I was sorry that he was having a bad day. He then started cursing and muttering and so I turned to walk away. He then jumped in his cart and then took off back to the pro shop. Paid for 18 holes, but left after 12. I should have read other reviews. Will never go back to this golf course. Gets 2 stars because the man in the pro shop was nice and welcoming and the course, though unimaginative was in good shape. read more

Course is just okay. Nothing exciting, not maintained great but not horrible. Older lady at the checkout is pretty rude and there are random over the top fees for pointless things sometimes and not other times so it's hard to tell when you're going to be ripped off or just have a good day. read more

I took a Boise State broncofit class through this course and it was a great experience. I loved the course and what it had to offer. The course was challenging and well kept. It had great views throughout the course. Loved all the people that work there and they are all very helpful. read more

Course was good for the price. Had some troubles in the morning causing me to run slightly later than id like but still showed up 10 min before the tee time. Older man from the front starts yelling at me as I'm walking up threatening to cancel my tee time and saying "I need you here 20 minutes early" proceeds to keep telling me as I walk in that he was going to cancel my time. even as I'm checking out with the other guy in the pro shop he keeps throwing snappy comments towards me to other guests checking in like "thanks for being early and not messing up pace like other people". I proceed to walk up to the first tee and wait 7 minutes to tee off due to the group in front me. very unprofessional service and very rude for no reason. id understand if i was actually late or holding up tee times but that wasn't the case and not once did the group behind me catch up. Need to do better and act more mature in that situation. Very uncalled for to threaten a paying customer for only being 10 minutes early instead of 20, which isn't a posted rule anywhere. read more

The employees were the rudest i have ever been around and were falsely accusing us of a bunch of things that never happened. The marshall of the course accused us of calling him names that were never said. There was a golfer playing in front of us so we were waiting for him to get off the green. We did not want to hit him and they were saying we were playing slow. I have never had an experience this bad at a golf course and they suspended our youth on course. Unless you are trying to be a professional golfer, I do not recommend this course because they do not value young golfers whatsoever. read more

Always looking for out of the way bar n grills. Gave this a try, solely for the bar n grill. Nothing impressive, although there was nothing really wrong. They have specials nights, and we went for Taco Tuesday. Shredded chicken or ground beef, eh. Rice and beans, no where close to authentic. Service was definitely friendly. Good drinks at the bar. This does look like a fun place to hit some balls into the lake though. I'm not knocking it, just doesn't have a pull for me. read more

i went to the range this week and i was very disappointed with how the workers treated me and when i went to the range there were a lot of people talking really loud and distracted me and when i put my clubs to go get balls someone took my spot when i obviously put my clubs there i am just disappointed the water thing is cool and all but i would rather go to banbaury read more

Greens are in horrible shape. fairways and boxes are soggy and muddy. Also you have a bunch of Karen's living on hole 11, not a great experience. Slow play wow 5 plus hours come on. read more

I wouldn't even recommend 1 star, it's like a 20-30 min wait time for each hole! People are teeing off 3-4 times at a time! Like the range is there for a reason! They need someone to have people speed up this isn't a pga tour. To play 4 hours for only 9-10 holes that's ridiculous.. people ranges are created for a reason. I'm not trying to be an ass hope but if you're hitting the ball multiple times from tee off and approaches. You're holding people up. I'm not saying nobody deserves to play everyone should play.! But mind the people behind you there's a 2-3 some wait for each hole I gave up after 10. Like if you're no good that's fine but don't be re hitting the ball 3-4 times till you get a good hit. That's doesn't make you good. I surely wouldn't be coming back again. read more

The range and restaurant are family friendly and a great place to relax. It is tucked into a quiet neighborhood. The food tasted great and was delivered quickly! They offer a variety of food deals and music on Friday evenings. The range is a lake with a nice fountain in the middle. The one downside is that you cannot use your driver most of the time. Overall, it is a great place to hang out, grab a few drinks, food, and hit some balls (or play the course). read more

First off, we normally enjoy this course. Not that it's a great course but usually nice and the clubhouse is fun and provides good service. Now they are under repair and have a hole closed so you only get 17 holes to play instead of 18. This would be okay if we knew this prior to booking and paying. They offered no discount and no prior warning of the condition of the course. This is 'deceiving' and I find it hard to do business with places that are not honest with their customers. read more

Played there today June 25. Front nine played at about an hour and 45 minutes. Good pace with no delays in play. Arriving at the 10th hole without a club house visit we found ourselves fourth to tee off. Where did these groups come from that didn't impact our front nine play? It's like the pro shop sent groups off 10 that didn't play the front. This continued backup continued the full back nine. Poor course management without a ranger to manage play. This place is nice and it's fun to hit balls into the water. But the pro shop closes at 7 so you can't get balls or use the driving range after. Tonight I got yelled at by a grounds keeper for buying balls to hit. He was very aggressive with me. Then once he calmed down, he tried to explain why this place doesn't want people on the driving range after 7. It was because he had to pick the balls up. Which was strange, considering the balls are hit into the water and that's the whole point of a driving range. Absolutely terrible customer service and I will not be back anytime soon. This place is in desperate need of people that care more about golf and creating a peaceful environment rather than people that are lazy and don't know how to talk to customers. read more

So I am not a golfer ..lol..but my Dad belongs to Lakeview and golfs about 3 days a week. He loves this place. He and my mom have lived on this golf course for 13 yrs. My review is not about the golf but rather it is concerning the food and service. My mom passed away last month and we decided to have her Celebration of Life at the club. MaryClaire is the person in charge of events like this apparently and she did an amazing job! She was attentive, very responsive and accomodating. She even tried to fix the horrible flowers that were delivered. She also did a great job with the food. We just had finger foods but she really encouraged us to get these chicken skewers and boy was she right! Everyone loved them! They didnt charge us for the room as long as we ordered $300 in food. To us, that was a great deal! Also, the people that work there were very sweet to us and Becky and Coleman are hard working bartenders who took great care of us too. It was a great experience despite how emotional it was:) read more

Went into club house last evening for dinner. We live in the subdivision and visit once or twice a month for food. Food is not bad and priced right. We aren't looking for 5 star service but last night was unacceptable. Walked in there was 3 tables seated and 2 of them had their food. We sat down at a table. Server looked at us twice walked by our table with out saying anything. 5 minutes later 2 more tables walked in and sat down. She grabbed menus and silverware and greeted the two late comers. We got up and left. When we left we explained why we left. Once again why is there a lack of service in restaurants? read more
