    Corn potatoes, snow crab, shrimps

Just came from out of town and it was near my hotel. Talk about slow service. Waited in the front without being greeted for the first five minutes. When somebody finally came over, I asked to be seated. She then asked me if I wanted to go to the bar because I was by myself. And then took another 10 minutes or so before the server actually got to me and asked me what I wanted to drink. I had the snow crabs and shrimps in the trifecta sauce it was okay nothing to write home about .

It smells like fabuloso, I can't stand that smell. Also the floor was super slippery so be careful if you go. The food was ok, we had the cheese sticks, catfish and fries. I might go back to try their Seafood boils, it looked like that was their specialty. The service was good and super helpful.

A seafood boil with salt and seasoning is a win for me! And the price was a steal too!! We ordered the lobster, shrimp, sausage, with extra potatoes and extra corn. Regular Cajun mild. They forgot our ranch for the fried calamari but since the boil was good,l it's okay. They were SO busy Saturday night.

The shrimp boil is my favorite with garlic butter/non spicy. The shrimp are a good size and VERY flavorful! The corn on the cobs are very tender as well and full of flavor. My kids love their crab legs/snow crab in garlic butter too. My daughter always adds 2 boiled eggs. Service is great! Everyone is very attentive, fast and friendly. The restaurant is very open, fresh, tables and chairs are roomy and comfortable. The decor fits the theme of the sea/nautical and very well lit. There's also a full bar and tvs around the restaurant.

Dinner at Red Hooks was ok. The wait time was not that long. The hurricane was in a much smaller glass than expected. This is the first time that I drink a hurricane at a restaurant and do not feel a buzz. The beer was in a good size glass. The place is too loud to hold any kind of conversation with anyone at your table and kinda chaotic. It had a pub atmosphere . This was not our first time here. The food was average and portion size was good.

This place has the flavor and the vibes forsure! The food is amazing! Delicious and affordable by far the best boil I've had here in san antonio!

Came for lunch. Got seated pretty quick! Service was pretty slow. Has a cool lil vibe, music was kind of loud but at least there was a good selection. Ordered wings and a boil. Wings were a little bit crispier for my liking and really small. Flavor was good! The boil was ok, sauce is the secret! A little runny some added roux for thickness would be better. Had to doctor it up with a mixture of trifecta and the Red Hook Special with lots of fresh squeezed lemons.

The food was sooooo good hot and fresh!! The service was good and we sat in a newly built area where the ac was perfect!

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CHEATED!!! We ordered a half pound of scallops and received only 7 very small scallops!!! These were about 1/2 inch scallops- check it on Google... the average amount of small scallops for 1/2 lb. is approximately 30-50 scallops. We checked every dish... we got only 7 scallops!! 7 scallops for $16.00!!! When we complained to two managers- they could not tell us how many ounces were in 1/2 lb.! Our waitress knew, but not the managers of the restaurant! The manager refused to remove the cost of the scallops we DID NOT RECEIVE!! The managers were rude. There was no customer service! No intent to be helpful. What does this tell me??? Did they cheat us on everything we ordered???? This was NOT A small order. We ordered 5 lbs. of shrimp, 5 lbs. of crawfish, 4 lbs. of Snow Crab & the 1/2 lb. of scallops!! With drinks this was a $700 bill!! On that type of order I expect Excellent Customer Service, not a rude 'manager' who can't even tell me how many ounces are in a pound or half-pound when they sell each item by the 1/2 or full pound!!! I even requested that they bring out a scale & show me 1/2 pound of scallops- I would pay for the extra 1/2 pound, but they refused!!! This infers that they KNEW they were cheating me!! I will research where complaints can be lodged for restaurants who falsify the weight of products sold.

1/2 pound shrimp with one pound of King crab!!!

One of my favorite "go to" placed for an excellent experience, excellent food with a very reasonable price for good quality seafood. This place is usually pretty busy on the weekends but the wait staff is usually very attentive and take care of you. I've eaten at most of the seafood places in San Antonio and this one seems to have the best menu to put together what you want without an outrageous price. You can get prices for a 1/2 pound or one pound of most things on the menu to make your own combination. They also have daily specials for really good prices. Fridays special was 1/2 shrimp, 1 pound of Alaskan crab legs with lobster tail for about $33. My family loves going here for dinner and we always have a great time!

Food and service was great. However, for the money the portions could be bigger. Everything was delicious.

Tasted strange so I asked for a shot glass with just their cola. Cola was room temp and taste was WAY off. Bartender offered to replace the drink - I thanked her and asked for whiskey rocks instead. Their well whisky was drinkable. Barely. I came to find out later, when I closed out, that their well whisky was $5.75... More than I can pay for an old fashioned in Southtown!! On top of the malfunctioning soda gun and crazy prices, the one young lady behind the counter never once spoke to me other than when I flagged her down. No small talk, no nothing. She spent the entire time I was there speaking with her girlfriends at the other end of the bar. And to be clear, there were maybe 5 patrons total in the entire space - she had plenty of time to engage with her customers. The only saving grace was the quality 90s and early 2000s country the few patrons in the place were playing on the jukebox. Good tunes!

From the person at the door to the waitstaff, the customer service felt indifferent and unwelcoming. It seemed like making guests feel appreciated wasn't a priority. The restaurant appears to market itself as the Latino version of Hooters, but instead of creating a fun sports-bar atmosphere, it comes across as relying on shock value and revealing uniforms rather than good service and a quality customer experience. In my opinion, the concept feels cheap, dated, and more distracting than entertaining. Instead of feeling comfortable enough to enjoy my meal and watch the game, the atmosphere felt tense, like everyone was sizing everyone else up. It wasn't a place where I could relax. The kitchen deserves credit because the food was genuinely good. In fact, the kitchen is carrying this establishment. The food is the only reason I would even consider coming back, but it's overshadowed by poor customer service and an atmosphere that feels more interested in gimmicks than genuine hospitality. If management ever put as much effort into customer service and the overall dining experience as they do into the food, this place would be worth recommending.
