The main problem this place has right now is AIR CONDITIONING! It's 100 degrees out and we Texans like to be cool while we eat. The bar area was way too hot to be comfortable, even with the fans on. The server said it's like that every day. Ugh. I did notice that it was cooler in the back after I got up to go to the restroom, but by then we were already seated and had ordered. We decided to pretend that we were actually at a beachside bar sitting outside. It didn't work. We were sweating bullets by the time we finished eating, and were extremely uncomfortable. I noted that there was only one other person in the restaurant other than us. We did not get the boil or oysters, so I cannot speak to those dishes. We did get the fried catfish/shrimp platter and it was good. The batter on both the fish and shrimp was not overbearing or too heavy. The cocktail and tartar sauces were somewhat bland, but the French fries were good. I had eaten there a few times when it was Dry Dock and it really isn't much different now. The best thing I can say is that if it were indeed a beach bar located on a beach, it would be fine. But when there are so many other great options for seafood in our town, it is mediocre at best. I probably won't go back. Maybe a carry out if I get another craving for fried food. And they charge a fee for using a credit card which annoys me. I don't carry around a bunch of cash and if they can't figure out how to process credit cards and still make a profit, that's not my problem. Sorry, but it comes right out of the tip.

This new restaurant in the medical center area, large variety of seafood. We got served by Oksana, she greet us with a warm smile, answered our questions. We came for crawfish it was tasty it was an enjoyable meal. I will definetely coming back. The oyster was juicy and tasty.

Lucy, our waitress and bartender was amazing. It was a great spot to hang out and have fun. It kinda reminded me of a "CHEERS" spot where everyone is family. The owner was engaged with the customers. The oysters were amazing. I had boil bag #2 with medium spice. Lucy made an amazing lemon drop, called, 'Blue Lucy'

No issues with parking also wheelchair accessible.

We first came on Saturday we had fried shrimo and French fries. The reason I didnt give 5 stars my husband is diabetic. They dont do subitutes. So he could get coleslaw in place of French. So they were wasted. There is only one restroom stall for women Id guess for men also? The restroom was very roomy and clean. The lunch special is $13 for half pound of shrimp, corn, 1 big potatoes and 1 corn. The shrimp were big. Im from SE Louisiana. Otherwise this may not bother you? They dont devine the shrimp. See photo for information on that. It was so so messy. Next visit I will ask for sauce on the side. This will help alot. I dont drink anything carbonated. So ice tea is important to me. Two visits it has a strong after taste. The good now the place is very very clean. Gabe our waiter they are very lucky to have hes adorable, friendly and very attentive. I saw how he interacted with customers. He is a natural he is a people person. The music is a great choice. There is also many tvs. I will come again and try sauce on the side and drink water. Give it a try I just hope this review helps. I asked hes off Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays.

They've upgraded the decor from the old Drydock. Oysters are good. But fried catfish was mostly breading (no fish!) & no substitutions! Coleslaw instead of fries-NO! Customers are not #1.

I have been several times to the previous Dry Dock which I watched it going downhill throughout the last couple of years. Now Crab City is open which I am wondering if it is the same owner as I read online in an article I decided to give it a chance and of course wanting to always eat crawfish that was the main thing I ordered. The lady who served us is extremely friendly and sweet! Finally a change from all the bad service and attitude from the last waitress I always got from the previous restaurant The restaurant is empty which also made me wonder how long it will survive The ambiance is still the same... even the decor hasn't changed Now about the food... nothing really to talk about. It is average and I think a bit overly priced. $15 for a pound of crawfish The saddest part is seeing 2 customers walking in, seems they were regulars at the previous restaurant asking for items that they do not have anymore... they left Sadly I will not return

Being a New Orleans native like myself we definitely gonna support our own when we find them away from the city. So when i saw he was having a crawfish boil I knew it was gonna be fire. And it did not disappoint. This was easily the best crawfish I had since living in San Antonio. Right spice. Right juiciness. No deads. Nice sized. It was so good I went up after and asked him when he was doing it again. Disappointed to find out he only does it once a year but I know I'll be back every year. And just to get some more cravings out the way I also ordered the bbq shrimp and my son had the chicken and beignets. We both inhaled them. So good. This was my first time to the location here. It's beautiful inside and out. The waitstaff was very attentive considering the large amount of people they were trying to account for. I also got the Big Easy biscuit with a side of grits. The grits were really good too and had a little spice to them. The biscuit itself was SO good and fluffy! definitely the star of the meal. It was a little messy with the eggs and sauce, so I ended up eating it with a fork. The biscuit came with potatoes on the side, but unfortunately they were overcooked and super hard/crunchy, so we could barely eat them. Overall, I'd definitely come back and try more menu items!

That said, I did have a much better interaction the day before when my wife and I stopped by for a glass of champagne at the bar--the bartender was lovely and welcoming.
