The staff is even more friendly and my new dermatologist, Dr. Kevin Fajardo, is just as friendly, professional and quick. I was in for a skin check and it was quickly taken care of. I left the office with complete piece of mind and the knowledge that I need to stop comparing moles on my body with pictures of cancerous lesions that are handed out at, uh, dermatology offices. But, if only the rest of the list of things keeping me up all night could so easily be dismissed...

I needed to schedule a Mohs Surgery and couldn't get them to call me back within a reasonable timeframe. Everytime I called there was no one to pick up the phone and I wouldn't receive a call back for 48 hours. When I was called back I was unfortunately unable to answer (perils of the pilot profession- no phone access in flight) which would reset another 48 hours of waiting for a callback the next time I attempted to call them. I eventually had my pathology sent to Polyclinic in Seattle and scheduled the surgery on the first call (Polyclinic will answer your call).

Denise is friendly and makes sure I'm comfortable while performing the procedure which goes very quickly on the small tattoos (thank goodness...it's bearable but not fun!). I had a couple prior appointments at a different provider in another city but have seen further improvement in the fading since seeing Denise, and her pricing is more reasonable. She is also realistic about results, no promises of things she can't deliver. I inquired about a separate aesthetic treatment and she said my skin wasn't advanced in age enough for it to make a difference, instead of taking my money and delivering sub-par results. The treatment space is private and comfortable though the lobby's a little confusing as it services a handul of different providers. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo removed I suggest getting a consultation with Denise. Your results may vary based on your skin, the type and color of ink used, and the age of the tattoo, so it's usually not a one-and-done treatment. I recommend Denise and Renew Laser Aesthetics.

All of the staff was humiliated and brutalized by their boss and were driven away, they all quit. I was called one day and told that my nail tech would no longer be doing my nails and they wanted me to come in an see someone else. Now, I am a very picky person when it comes to my nails and I was coming all the way there from Bainbridge, I sure as heck wasn't going to just let anyone work on my nails. In the time I was there I witnessed unsanitary practices and uncomfortable conversations between the owner and her employees or the owner talking about clients personal lives behind their backs. This is one of the main reasons I discontinued giving my business to this salon. There have been a few times that I have been in the area and thought, heck, I will just stop in and say hi or see if I can drop in for a pedi but each time that happened they were closed or there was no staff to accommodate. The filtered reviews of this place with 5 stars are a joke, friends of the owner just trying to help her out and get her a better star rating. Unfortunately the other reviews that are filtered that are less than stellar are actually quite accurate and in my opinion should not be filtered. If you have the time read all of the filtered reviews and take the bad ones seriously before deciding where you want to take your business.
