Misty took amazing care of me, initially one of the other stylists had waxed my brows but I felt like Frankenstein with block eyebrows. Upon checkout Misty asked me if I'd had a good experience and I told her that I didn't like my brows but that it was okay. She looked at me for a moment and then asked me to follow her to a room. Misty was great. she knew exactly how I wanted my eyebrows to look and made them so. I had a couple prior appointments at a different provider in another city but have seen further improvement in the fading since seeing Denise, and her pricing is more reasonable. She is also realistic about results, no promises of things she can't deliver. I inquired about a separate aesthetic treatment and she said my skin wasn't advanced in age enough for it to make a difference, instead of taking my money and delivering sub-par results. The treatment space is private and comfortable though the lobby's a little confusing as it services a handul of different providers. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo removed I suggest getting a consultation with Denise. The salon is very dark. When she was done with my hair, looked darker than I asked for but since it was dark in the salon, I decided not to say anything in front of her new client. I thought it would be better to check it out at home. She was eager to set up a new appointment but I made an excuse so I could evaluate this very expensive hair coloring. My bill with tip was $365.88. I got home and checked my hair in every light in my house. It was much darker than it was when I went in which is not at all what I asked. I asked for an icy blonde and not a brunette. I messaged her, told her I would not make another appointment and said my hair was much darker than it was before I went in. She recommended purple shampoo to help correct her mistake. I would have to spend money to fix it but this is also the same shampoo she told me while she was doing my hair that she wouldn't recommend it for my hair type (I have been told in the past not to use it). She offered to redo it for free but at this point, I lost any ounce of confidence in her. Her mistake, her bad recommendation (other colorists agree) etc. I then asked for my tip back because she truly did not deserve a penny of it. She decided to ignore me after I asked. After she ignored me, I decided to comment on her post, the one I saw to make an appointment. I stated the above with pictures. Within 5-10 minutes (not at all exaggerating) she deleted the post. She decided to post in a local private group of all beauticians etc. in kitsap and she told everyone if I made an appointment to fix her mistake, they need to cancel because I was a difficult client. She blocked anyone who defended me. This post was very hurtful since she made the mistake. I was criticized by a few of her friends who backed her and was told they back her only because she's one of them. She slandered my name, made sure no colorist would touch me to fix her mistake (or take me on as a client) in kitsap, kept 100% of the money, refused to return the tip (I didn't ask for it all, just my tip) and had her friends pm me to harass me. I had my hair japanese thermal straightened and have been trimming it out so I can enjoy my curls again . She shaped my hair, thinned it out , taught me about curl patterns , how to retrain my hair , correct salon grade products , heat products , inquired about my routine , and even talked to me about color because I was honest and told her I had thermal straightening in my hair still and the color she is seeing is blonde that I had professionally colored back to my original color . I had not had my haircut in a super long time and needed some help with some low maintenance color options. The salon itself is very "low stress". It doesn't give off your typical salon vibe. It is comfortable and everyone there made me feel like I was at home while still maintaining a professional atmosphere. Jess helped me get the perfect cut. She really listened to what I wanted, while providing helpful tips. She didn't cut it too short, and the style is amazing. I can't say enough about the cut itself. It is PERFECT!! She also helped me pick out two great colors for some peek-a-boo highlights. They look so natural! It added crazy dimension to my thin hair. I ended up making friends with both of the other stylists working and saw the work they both did on other customers while I was the shop and.... WOW. These ladies know what they're doing!!
