It's especially great for date night or a fun girls' night out. If you plan on coming, definitely make a reservation because seating is limited and it fills up quickly! The experience is what makes this place so special. They roll around little carts, almost dim sum style, with fun bites and drinks like mini cocktail drinks like an espresso martini, oysters, tacos, and desserts. It's such a unique concept and always a hit when I bring friends here. The space is cozy with an elevated tiki-inspired vibe, and they recently added a nice outdoor patio. It's a little on the pricey side, but you're paying for the atmosphere and experience, and I think it's worth it! The staff are always warm and upfront about wait times, so if you don't have a reservation, be prepared to wait.

The food is exceptional with varying small bites to share. On this quick visit we just had frozen slushies after a wonderful dinner at their sister restaurant next door, G-Love. If you read that review I'm sure you are wondering how and why we would still visit another establishment. I'll tell you why. If you are in the area, you must stop by The Love Shack and visit Quintin, the mastermind behind the bar while managing a crew who truly cares about your dining experience. In a world where you can go anywhere, go here!

Popular "Murder on the Dancefloor" gin cocktail. Although I didn't connect the name with the bathtub theme. Cute though.

This massive bookstore has an incredible selection, with something for every type of reader. I could easily spend hours exploring every corner. One of the highlights is the Rare Book Room, it's fascinating to see these book treasures up close. They even have a copy of The Journals of Lewis and Clark valued at $350K! It's like stepping into a small museum for me. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. The entire store has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes me want to stay longer. highly recommend stopping by. It's one of the places that makes you appreciate the joy of books.

If nothing more than to experience the history of Powell's or if you're searching from some sort of obscure book in physical form. This place has all things a book bug would love to dig through. Aisles and aisles of novels, graphic and otherwise provide for endless amount of time looking over their inventory if you so desire. Personally, I also like looking through what I'd call their impulse buys. Stickers, clothing, tote bags and other assorted "gifts". They have a ton of stuff to choose from and all unique and not mass produced. So take some time while visiting or otherwise and stroll through this piece of history and celebrate its independence!

The food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere and grounds were simply amazing. I ordered the Salisbury steak and so did daughter. I could not think about finishing mine, but daughter scarfed hers down and offered to finish my plate. Hubs ordered garlic chicken Parmesan and said it was wonderful. It smelled wonderful. I love McMenamins! Can't wait to go again!

But some new things are Hoky Poky, brisket sandwich, and other items. I asked the server and the brisket was the top choice. Ask about the amount of brisket the server indicated plenty. As I was drinking the Sunflower IPA ( real nice ), our orders came. I started eating the Cajun Tots first as usual, then looked at the sandwich. One big question: Where's The Beef!? Huge bun, lots of slaw on top of a few thin deli slices of brisket and you are blessed with the $25 price tag. I took one bite and said NO! The server returned and asked how it was and I politely explained it's not worth the price. The server said they will take it off the bill and took my plate. And asked if I would like something else instead. No, because little dude already finished his hamburger. The server took off the sandwich from the bill. See the photos Server was very nice and pleasantly professional. And provided very good service.

The trees are huge and very little mitigation is the norm. Huge limbs crash into and stab the roofs of most RVs in this park. Below you will see pictures of just one incident where three trees came down in one storm . The property owner is very aware of this issue and the response is "Well that what insurance is for " While the risk of living in a heavily wooded area is and does come with risks . The lack of maintenance to the area plays a big part as well. The roads are unpaved which creates not only mud but huge potholes that can wreck any suspension. The restrooms if they work are disgusting . In the time that we lived here they were typically unusable. Which isn't really an issue since most rigs have restrooms. However their website says they have restrooms. No real amenities to speak of . Management is rude and not helpful at all . They'd rather not be bothered with any issues that may arise . Standard answer to any problem is well that's just the way it is . The sites are filthy and unkept picnics tables are dirty never cleaned , fallen branches and pine cones cover the ground which are constantly tracked into your rig. There are very few sites that are kept nice and if there are any improvements done it is at the tenants expense. We put in more gravel than I can even remember. Customer service is horrible I have witnessed several instances where visitors have been verbally attacked for minor issues . Constant Drama from some residents, nosy loud and always in your business.only to later claim they had nothing to do with it All in all a word to the wise stay away from this place at all costs . While it is secluded and at times peaceful the bad truly out weighs the good .

Although our site was a pull-thru, it looked like no one had stopped by to check on it for the whole summer. The picnic table was dirty and covered with LOTS of tree debris. And...the site wasn't cheap! Although we weren't far from the office area, we had absolutely no internet. The worst part of the whole experience were the bathrooms! Ewwwwww..... I didn't even want to go in to take the pictures. Luckily, I could use the shower in my trailer. I would rather go in the woods than use the toilets there. My husband did use the men's room and besides getting past the filth, he had to plunge the toilet before he could even use it! My recommendation....DON'T stay here unless you absolutely have to.
