Service was great! There needs to be more people coming here because it was a great environment with great food and hospitality. The chef Mary was the sweetest person ever and her ramen was outstanding. Would definitely recommend and come back again! Oh and then play great music!

The food here is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend it!! My grandma can't handle most ramen if any and I took her here and she LOVED the Redlight Ramen . It was the perfect amount ramen to soup ratio. They have some murals on all the walls. I'm not a big fan of the dogs personally but the cats are super cute! we highly recommend this place 10/10

This is my third visit and I decided to try the red light special on the menu .. it was delicious.

This was my third visit to Redlands ramen, it was a cold rainy day today so I figured it was perfect timing for something warm . The server jade was pleasant and friendly. I tried something different today and it was delicious and filling , definitely will be returning in the near future to hopefully taste other delicious items on the menu ..

I haven't written a Yelp review in years, and when I do, it's either because I absolutely love a place or I can't stand it. And let me tell you, it is hands down the best ramen I've ever had. No exceptions! Honestly, I don't get how this place doesn't have five stars across the board because it's the best ramen, period. I live in LA, and I literally make the trip just to get a taste of their unreal chicken broth. From what I've heard, they simmer it for three days before it even hits the bowl, and you can taste every hour of that in how rich and creamy it is. No other place even comes close. I always get a spice level of Just Right, it's got the perfect kick that makes you want to come back for more. And trust me, I do especially because they are open till 3am! There have been plenty of days where I've ordered three or four bowls to-go just so I can have it all week long. The only problem that I've got with them is that they don't have a location in LA! I could guarantee you that If you order the way I do this ramen will be in your top 3 ramen restaurants. If you want to order like me, just get the Dan with a side of Tori broth and a spice level of Just Right. I always add their perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg, sweet corn, and their insanely good chicken. You can add whatever you want, but if you want it done right, just ask for "The Dan, Udi's way." Oh, and big shoutout to Mario, their best cook and all-around legend. If you go, tell him I sent you, you won't regret it!

The quality makes me feel like I'm not missing out on too much with my now limited food options. I personally enjoyed the beef ramen as well as the fried shrimp. My lady eats the spicy ramen and enjoys the taste. Service so far has been excellent, the servers are attentive but not too in your face. I am a public worker so when I'm out I don't always like wait staff that is too intrusive. In my experience the severs here help, bring extra water and don't bug you or ignore you. The atmosphere has been great the few times I have gone. My last visit they had a World Cup game on 2 of their large tvs. The TVs were easily viewable from my spot in the restaurant so if I chose to watch the game while eating I could do so easily. While it may not be for everyone I try to frequent this location at least once a month, I plan on heading there again after 4th of July.

The Karaage Chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce for it make it chefs kiss. It was sweet, tangy, and had a little heat to it. I loved the crispiness of the gyoza dumplings but some people might feel they're too crispy. I had to get the Gyu set again. It comes with Filet Mignon Miso butter, Kalbi, and Shaved Ribeye. It also comes with Shishito Peppers and Mushrooms. You grill these items to your liking. That yuzu butter on those filet mignon medallions is fire. The meat is so tender and I suggest preparing it to medium rare. The kabli comes marinated and it gives it a nice sweet glaze after grilling. I like these with a little char on the edges. The shaved ribeye has no flavor but I like to grill it with a little bit of the dipping sauce poured on it. The service was amazing. Yvette was our waitress again and she's absolutely fabulous. I will always request her if she's on shift! She's tentative and on point with her level of service. The ambiance has an Asian contemporary feel. There's TVs with closed caption to watch, artwork on the walls, and during the day the natural lighting comes through nicely. They do offer a happy hour but we missed it. I'll definitely be returning again...

I sensed something exciting was going to happen -- but relying entirely on word of mouth. Flash-forward to early 2026, where readers of the local weekly paper named this the Best Sushi of Redlands. I was so excited, and as my visit last week demonstrates -- things have only improved. KYO SUSHI was packed at 5PM on a Tuesday. Not only slammed, but standing room only. I don't know what happened but I'm so happy for them. Two subtle changes have happened and I'm all for them. A LOCAL NEWS channel sharing dreadful stories on the TV has been swapped for hi-def reels of lovely Asian spots, making our escape from the crazy world we live in complete. As an extra touch, we are now treated to soothing jazz, which helps in a room with so many happy customers. A special shout out to Sia, who greets regulars like family and will help you get exactly what you need. Hi to Wendy and the new young lady, all keeping a close eye on customer happiness. I believe KYO is on the brink of having outgrown this location, but a lease is likely keeping them there for a while. It's a shame they can't move next door into the old Von's location -- lol -- because what a place that would be. Enough room in their to farm the fish. Pro Tip -- try the Megan Fox roll!

Kyo Sushi was okay. I may have gone in with higher expectations because of the 4.7 rating on Yelp,…read morebut overall it felt a little overhyped. The roll presentation was very good, and visually the food looked great. The plates came out clean, colorful, and nicely arranged. Flavor-wise though, the rolls were fairly bland. The house mayo tasted like regular mayo, which isn't necessarily bad, but I guess I was expecting something with a little more going on, maybe closer to a spicy mayo or some kind of signature sauce. We also ordered a Philly roll, but were brought the Philly "Pro" instead. The Pro is deep fried, which I wasn't expecting, and I took a bite without realizing how hot it was and almost burned my mouth. I did mention that "Philly roll" and "Philly Pro" are close enough in name that I could see wrong orders happening pretty easily. Service was direct and decent. Nothing bad, just more to-the-point than warm or memorable. I'd probably give this place another shot, because it seemed like we may have gotten caught in a rush all at once. Not terrible by any means, and the presentation was definitely a strong point, but it wasn't quite the standout experience I was expecting.
