Ordered online and only got one ramen bowl. When I got home I noticed the order was completely wrong I got pork and I payed for extra add ins as well. They gave me just tofu nothing else. They ignored all my calls about 8 times till finally they answered and I knew they weren't busy cause I was just there. When they finally answered they told me that they can't refund online orders even though they messed up and that the only thing I can do is contact the owner. She didn't give me the owners information or offer to have it replaced. She said that next time I shouldn't order online and I should call them instead. How about you guys don't have online ordering as an option then. Since I can't take it back and can't get a refund I decided to try it and the ramen isn't even good. I came here for the first time with my boyfriend thinking it was gonna be great. Upon first arriving we sit and are given menus then asked what drink we would like, it was just two waters. 15 minutes pass and we still have yet to receive the waters or get our order taken, had to go up to the front and tell the waiter we still haven't gotten our waters and that we were ready to order. Another 15 minutes pass by until he got us our waters and he did not realize that he didn't take our order yet. I was like okay fine human mistake maybe? I go to order ramen that includes corn as a topping however when I received it it had no corn at all. At this point I didn't want to get up yet again for a mistake the waiter made but thought maybe he just didn't hear that I said I wanted corn in my ramen. The waiter never returned to ask about anything or even refill the cups. When time comes to pay and we get the receipt I noticed he charged us for the corn I never received? I go back in to tell him I was charged for the corn he never gave me and proceeds to say he couldn't undo it which at this point I'm just mad because it was just the cherry on top of the worst, first and last experience at this spot. Was just looking for a new ramen place to try, but unfortunately this place is not it for me. The fountain drinks did not work. My broth was cool, not even warm. Not much flavor in the broth. The meat was not tender. I guess they text you when your food is ready, but I actually did not received a text until I was already home. This place looks promising from the outside, the the actual establishment is lacking serious judgement in music choice and its way too loud. The order taker cant even hear you. Inside was clean, staff friendly, and food looked good however my two sisters and I all got food poisoning from here. One of my sisters and I ordered a vegan ramen with some veggies and my other sister ordered a pork ramen. My ramen and my sisters (both vegan) were both completely different from each other despite them being ordered the exact same way. I was sick within 30 minutes of eating the food. I've always said the ramen here is really good and I still think it is but I'm giving a low rating because of the service. Service is always really slow and when trying to order over the phone I've gotten pushed away and told to order online so I don't bother and just end up ordering when I arrive. The time I order online I set it for it to be ready in 20mins yet I arrive 35mins later and it's still not ready. Apparently their tablet doesn't work and is not pushing orders through so I still end up having to give my order inside and have to wait an extra 25+ mins for my order to be ready and there is only one couple eating so I don't understand why it takes so long to do two bowls. So food is usually good but the service is never great and they don't offer anything for the inconvenience or to make the waiting time worth it. read more

I love trying new ramen spots out. Gave this one a try and VERY DISAPPOINTED. Seemingly big location but it's a weird set up. You order at the register right when you walk in and then find a place to sit. 2 ramen bowls and 2 drinks came out to $39! We asked the girl taking our order what an ingredient was, to which she stayed, "I don't know". It's disappointing that you work at a place but don't know the menu. I was already stressed out because when i was ordering, there clearly was no where to sit. We ended up standing for a few minutes before someone left and were able to steal their spot. Our bowls took a very long time to come out and when they did, my disappointment continued. I got the tonkotsu with pork belly. The pork belly was not cooked all the way so I didn't bother eating it. There wasn't much flavor or spice. The noodles tasted like cheap instant noodles. The broth was luke warm. I think the cooks were trying to push out as many orders as possible and made one easy generic flavor. We will not be coming back to this restaurant. read more

Was very excited for a 24 hour ramen spot to come to Redlands, but I think there is some room for improvement. When the food is good, it is really good. But unfortunately, they are not consistent with their food. The noodles are overdone frequently. The pork is hit or miss with its flavor. The Niku broth is really great though. But when I can't rely on the noodles or egg to be cooked properly every time that is a problem. Every time I have been in there it seems like a bunch of teens running around with no supervision. Where is management to watch over the quality? The restaurant itself is nice, but they could stand to turn the music down a bit. Every time I go in I basically have to shout my order & the employees have to shout back. If you can't reliably hear your customers & what they are trying to order, then you've got an issue. Turn it down 5 points & it'd be golden. My other gripe with this place is its prices. They are charging fine dining prices at a fast food restaurant. The Japanese pork is bomb, but it is $9 on top of a bowl that is already nearly $15 - if you want any other toppings, that is extra too. My husband & I have never eaten here for less than $50.. but we can go to Ramen Koko up the street & have the same meal for half the price. Do better Redlands Ramen. Disappointing. It just didn't have a distinct flavor that would make it stand out--be exciting. I was thinking from the first bite that packaged ramen I make myself at home is better. There wasn't anything special and it was very greasy. The flavors didn't enliven my taste buds or make me feel good. It was just noodles in very greasy soup. Nothing beats ramen in Japan and next to it, LA. I think because ramen is otherwise common, it should be special in its own way especially because we take the time to go and pay a lot for it. We ordered 4 ramen dishes and paid $60+ ! At the first bite I really thought it wasn't worth it. The place is artsy, tonight there was plenty of seats. My wife, daughter, and I dined here for the first time. My wife got Tonkotsu ramen and my daughter got the miso ramen-no spice. I didn't order anything due to my late lunch. My wife said the Roman was decent, but my daughter only took one bite of the noodles. Even though we ordered no spice for the Miso broth, it was too spicy for my daughter. I tasted her ramen and agreed that it was too spicy for her. It didn't have a rich miso flavor, but rather a diluted miso broth that was overly peppered. Needless to say, she didn't eat the rest. Insult to injury, the noodles were over priced. Another pet peeve of mine are restaurants that are pay and tip first before you even get your food. I'll start by saying the ramen was good. Not the best I've had, but definitely good enough to come back for more. Main issue with my food order, I ordered tonkotsu with Japanese pork. My ramen was brought out with no pork! When the guy walked by a few minutes later i asked about the pork, and his response: "Oh its still cooking." I was honestly shocked at the answer, why would you serve me my ramen order incomplete? If the pork is not ready, then the ramen is not ready to serve. Let's order eggs and bacon, and only be served egg.....bacon comes later because it's still cooking. They ended up bringing the pork on the side on its own plate. Huge piece of pork, not cut or anything to put into the ramen. Again, in my opinion, served incomplete. So there i am using the spoon and fork trying to cut the pork into pieces that fit into the ramen bowl. With this, the service is horrible. Staff stands around and doesn't do much of anything for customer service. They bring the food to your table and is non-existent afterwards unless you rudely wave your hand to get someone's attention. read more
