We agonized so much and wasted so much time getting estimates for removal…read moreof a massive dead pine tree in our back yard and were told by various services that it would take 3 to 4 hours to do the job, that we most likely would need to have a crane, and that it would be extremely tricky to remove. We had initially hired Danny Elene of Elene Tree Service and his motley crew, but his crew showed up a day early one morning without warning and basically demanded to do the job on that morning or not at all. Needless to say, we declined. We then proceeded to speak to several new tree services and settled on Jesus of Jesus Tree Service because he agreed to match our lowest bid, he was straight with us, he didn't play games or use scare tactics, and he didn't display an ounce of cocky bravado, as most of them tend to do. He willingly and happily showed us his license and his proof of insurance, and he was one of the very few who stated what should've been obvious to most, which is that removal using a crane would not be feasible in our case due to several rows of electrical wiring overhead. We decided to trust him and his unbelievably quick and careful crew, and it was quite an impressive sight to witness their outstanding teamwork. They were extremely focused, extremely efficient, unbelievably tidy, and they didn't trample on any of our many pretty flowerbeds. They removed the huge dead pine tree in short order and left the stump cut precisely at ground level. They also stacked up the resultant logs very neatly and left our yard spotless, without a trace of debris in sight. Best of all, they managed to complete the job in an hour and 15 minutes flat, in less than half the time that was estimated by the other tree services. All of the cautions and fears and warnings that had been proffered and impressed upon us by other so-called tree "experts" turned out to be totally unwarranted. Don't hesitate for a minute to hire Jesus and his crew. They are total professionals.

Such an amazing family owned and operated company! We had them out twice this last week for…read moredifferent things. They did such a great job with the first thing, that having them come back out for something else just made sense. Daniel stopped by our house to give us a quote to trim our grapefruit tree and remove a tree stump. After speaking with a few companies, we felt like Elene's was the best option. He took the time to talk about the project, how to properly care for and trim citrus trees, and he was able to schedule the project for the next day. They came by and completed everything quickly and did an amazing job. After the project was completed we were able to have them back out in a few days to plant shrubs and transplant a hibiscus tree! Again, quick, efficient and job well done. Next we plan to work with them to trim our giant pine, and help us create a planter wall- two things that've been on our "list" for a long time. They wanted to do the job a day early without any prior notice and claimed to be working on a job two houses down from us, which turned out not to be true. They were overly insistent, even yelling at my brother over the fence in the back yard to get his attention, and it soon became apparent that they wanted to do our job a day early because they had booked a more lucrative job into the time slot that had originally been reserved for us. I texted Danny, the leader of these renegades, who basically told me that if they couldn't do the job a day earlier, then they would not be doing the job at all. I tried to reason with him, but he simply stopped responding to my texts. Why couldn't he have just been honest with us in the first place and told us that they had given our scheduled time slot to someone else and needed to reschedule instead of trying to saddle us with the lie that they happened to be in the neighborhood and working two houses down from us, which wasn't true? Their lame excuses, their bad behavior, and their total lack of professionalism are frankly mind boggling!

This team is very professional, very efficient, and very knowledgeable, even our next door neighbors were impressed by their skills. I was working from home both days and I was not interrupted. Miguel responds quickly at any hours of the day so it was easy to coordinate with him. As a busy parent, I appreciated that.
