Everything was delicious! I ordered an iced matcha and my husband ordered an iced coffee. Honestly the drinks were not great. But this place is not known for their coffee, they are known for their crepes so based only on the food, they get 5-stars!

We were craving something different from the usual breakfast, and that's when we found Avalanche. As huge crepe fans, once we read their story on the website, we knew this was the place to go! From the moment we walked in, one of the owners greeted us right away -- super friendly and chill. The space was clean, the music was great, and the Montana-inspired decor and artwork really told their story and created such a welcoming vibe. Now, let's talk about the crepes! I ordered The Snow Bunny, and the very first bite brought instant comfort -- exactly what I needed to start the day. My husband ordered The Ronnie, and it was incredible. The blend of hash browns, chorizo, and eggs was perfectly balanced -- none of the ingredients overpowered the others -- and every bite was a delicious harmony. The crepe itself was the true star of the meal! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town visiting friends. See you soon -- your Kansas City fans!

This keeps them busy and in a specific area while you eat. The food was really good, I especially liked the French Toast that I got. My wife thought the crepe was ok, maybe could use more stuff in it (stuffing? lol. It was steak). Service was very friendly and food came out at a reasonable time. There is an upstairs which has some fun seating and there is a ton to look at while you eat which was entertaining.

They definitely have crepes mastered! They are so delicious and fresh. The crepes places we have in California don't get this gourmet. The pouched pear crepe has gold luster!!! Get the lavender lemonade and Ryan's Tiramisu Tea, you won't be disappointed. Lastly, the staff/service was superb. So sweet and attentive - the person making our drinks (Ryan) was giving us great recommendations of places to visit. I'm looking forward to coming back when I'm in town!!! I want to try everything on the menu.

When you enter, decide where you want to sit and peruse the menu. You will then fill out your own order/waiter ticket and bring it to the counter. While you wait for your order, there are a variety of table games that you can play. There are also some local arts and crafts for sale that you can check out. I went with two crepes: the pepperoni pizza crepe and the smores crepe. Both were outstanding choices! Really, everything on the menu and at the tables around us looked great. The smores was definitely the highlight for me. Bitter Sweet is in a pink building in a really cool small town. Side note - If you're looking to get married, there are bridal shops everywhere! But even if you aren't headed to the altar, I would highly recommend Bitter Sweet and the entire area in general. It was a very cool pit stop in between soccer games.

Initially, I required some clarification on their process - have a seat, look at the menu, fill out your own ticket, bring the ticket to the counter and grab a drink if you put it on your ticket. Then, your food comes out and is brought to you when it's ready and you go back to the counter to pay before you leave.... Basically it's just fast casual style. The initial entry is a bit confusing and cluttered, but the dining area is nice and open.
