BlueDream Cookie and Blended Nut Milk
    Sam U.

Fantastic place to pick up some dessert. Cookies are a little pricey at about $11 for three but I will definitely be back. Chef Zay is a genius with his cookie flavors and combinations. The first time coming here we weren't sure how it worked and so we ended up having to wait the 20-something minutes outside so definitely make sure and order ahead online. The wait is absolutely worth it though for freshly baked cookies every time. Customer service was excellent, and Chef Zay let us preview his new cookie for the week while we waited and included a free bottle of nut milk. It was divine. I recommend this place to everyone and will be returning soon.

Combo pizza meal with pepperoni and blue dream cookie.

They have beautiful quite service or this place is booming. The pizza is crunchy and is actually seasoned to perfection and personally the blue dream cookie is my favorite it's soft and gooey topped with fresh blueberries lemon zest and white chocolate chips. The pizza is cooked to perfection and has fresh basil on top nice and crunchy and warm. Top with your favorite beverage. It's a perfect lunch or dinner for one or for the family.

Dab of Butter is a tasty peanut butter treat. Delicious!

These cookies are so freaking good. Some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend trying the Busta-Nut cookie. I ordered using door dash. They arrived fresh from the oven.

You order from the outside window, though most of the seating is inside. The service was friendly and very efficient. There were many tempting decadent creations (sundaes, milkshakes, concretes, etc.) on the menu with a multitude of varieties. However, the base ice cream selections were streamlined. There was chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and lemon. The latter was intriguing. Added to this, the "Flavor of the Dae" when we visited was s'mores. I noticed they offered a 3-scoop flight for $6 and that was ideal for my wife and I to split. We tried the chocolate, the s'mores and the lemon. They were all terrific! The basic chocolate was the best I've tasted in a long time. It was wonderfully creamy and you could truly taste the chocolate. The value here was terrific and the ice cream was very enjoyable. The service topped off a pleasant visit. We'll be back when we're in the area.

And it turned out to be a terrific little spot in Vandalia. It's funny because it has been around since 1964, meaning that it's almost as old as we are. We grew up in the general area and we had never heard of it, let alone tried it. The decor was simple with a decent number of seats. It was set up to order from the counter. The gentleman serving us was friendly and quite pleasant. The ice cream flavors were limited, but that was fine for our granddaughter, who had a vanilla-chocolate twist in a cup with a cone "hat". My wife and I split a Banana Pudding Cyclone, which was like a Flurry. It was terrifically flavorful. We were pretty happy with our experience. It reminded us of the type of place we would have gone as kids. With tasty treats and good service, it is a place worthy of a return visit.

This is a throwback to the 60's & 70's when my wife came here with her folks as a child. The food is your drive-in style place with hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries & shakes. I had the hamburger and my wife & mother-in-law each had the foot long coney with chili, cheese & onions along with fries and shakes. All was tasty and brought back that yesteryear type feeling. The staff was friendly & efficient in getting the food prepared quickly and correctly. The setting as I mentioned earlier is a throwback with Formica tables & seats. Very clean! Thank you for bringing back a great memory for my wife & mother-in-law.

She touched 2 different raw meats, fryer handles, different doors, cheese, buns, cooked meat, served food and the register without changing gloves. When working in a resteraunt industry you MUST replace gloves after touching even ONE thing. Knowing kids and families dine there it is not safe for people to consume food that's not only been touched by dirty gloves but those same gloves also touching RAW food. This needs to be addressed ASAP as the longer this issue waits the more likely someone will get seriously sick. Being in the resteraunt industry for 7 years and having a food handlers certificate I cannot let this go unoticed as this can lead to serious issues in the future.
