I may be young but I cannot even begin to explain just how many times I've been in a rut due to car trouble. My experiences at various places (both big corporate auto shops and mom and pop type shops) have always been nothing but awful. It's gotten to where when my car needs to be looked at, I'm left feeling traumatized and reliving all of the times I've been taken advantage of, belittled, or ripped off by every place I've been to. Seriously, a man at Pep Boys spoke to me like I was a 5 year old child and caused a scene in front if other customers when I simply asked to make an appointment for a tire change. That's only one of over 100 experiences I've had. So when Triple A told me I needed to get a shift cable replaced, I immediately went into panic knowing I'd have to brace myself for wherever I went. I'm born and raised in the central Florida area and moved to Apopka almost 3 years ago. There's multiple auto shops around but I'd never been to Sheeler before until now. I came in and was out within an HOUR. Sadly, as a young woman, I never feel comfortable going alone to auto repair shops (that's another story for a different day!). I've learned to expect the worst. But this was by far the greatest experience. Everyone was super friendly, communicative and respectful. On my way home I immediately called several friends (other single women who have unfortunately had negative experiences with auto shops) and recommended Sheeler. I brought in my 1998 Expedition. The truck was really in bad shape. Barely running is an…read moreunderstatement. It was so bad that I didn't think it would make it there. It did make, but just barely. I talked to them and explained that the Expedition was making a knocking sound and would sometimes almost stall on me. I told them that I was traveling to Pittsburgh and I didn't think the Expedition would make it there the way it was running. They agreed and looked it over and have me a complete abs through breakdown estimate of what was needed for the repair and the cost of each item and the total. The price was beyond fair. Then I asked them if they could do the repair in under a week. I had to head to Pittsburgh and needed the Expedition to go up there. They said that wouldn't be a problem at all. Which was really surprising. A lot of shops would say it would be a minimum of a week. When I picked up the truck I was surprised at how well it was running. They brought it from the brink of death to have it running like the day I bought it. I was in fact so satisfied with their work and generosity that I brought my baby, a 2012 Mustang GT to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get it fixed. I was unable to pay immediately to fix my Mustang and Alan (The owner) offered to let me store it there until I could afford to get it fixed. A little after I had it there I had contracted Covid-19 and it completely stalled my life. With the downturn of the economy my company lost all of its business and I had to wait even longer to be able to pay for my Mustang. Alan had been in constant communication to see how I was doing. Didn't even bring up about my Mustang sitting at his shop for months on end. His concern was first and foremost was my health. I was in and out of the hospital and the whole shop was just so generous with taking care of my Mustang. I was FINALLY able to pay the shop for my Mustang. I got her back and again they do the best job I've ever had done on a vehicle. My Mustang just ran like a top. Drove as better as its ever been. He even educated me on full synthetic oil vs synthetic blend. He suggested going with what Ford recommends and use a synthetic blend. Even though it's a lower priced oil her recommended that instead of the more expensive oil. They put the customer FIRST at the shop. They not only treat you as a client, but also as a family member. I'll only take my vehicles to The Ford Shoppe for now on. They treat you REALLY well, but they also do some of the best repair work. I've never been so impressed with a business as I am with the Ford Shoppe. I have come to consider them family now. They're the best people you could hope to ever meet. I can genuinely recommend the shop. Everything they do is of the absolute best and highest quality. I'll forever be grateful to them for all they did for me.

My problem started back in late July when I came in for a simple CV axle replacement. This was the only problem that I was having and the only problem that needed to be repaired on my car. When I came to these people in July, they told me they were putting a brand new Ford part in my car and that is what they quoted me for.. After leaving the shop, I noticed there was a loud ticking sound in my car while accelerating, which was not there prior to going to the shop . I take the car back the next day, without even looking at the vehicle they send me 1100 quote saying I need new control arms. At this point I don't believe these people at all because the sound was not there prior to the CV axle repair. I took my car to three other mechanics in the area, ALL saying my control arms are in perfect shape along with my lower brushing. Absolutely no movement on them or anything. The first thing we noticed, when putting the car up on the lift was the axle. The axle put in my vehicle was a used garbage part from the junk yard. Immediately we could tell that this was the actual making the sound.. The other mechanics told me to go back to the shop and warranty the axle. After arguing with them and them denying that the axle has anything to do with the sound, supposedly, he agreed to warranty and replace it. He brought the car back and within 45 minutes he came out and apologized, saying the axle was making the sound. After leaving the shop, the sound was gone for about 2-3 days. Quickly it came back. I took my car back to my main mechanic and we lift it up on the lift. These mechanic at the ford shoppe lied right to my face. Still the same old trashy used axle that they put in back in July remained in place. This shop never replaced or repaired it. All they did was tighten some screws and send me on my way when I came back for repairs. These people are well aware the axle is problem and try and scam you out of hundreds of other dollars. To this day, my axle remains unrepaired, and the shop is unresponsive and willing to work with me. Another thing is, I WAS NEVER QUOTED NOR DID I PAID FOR A USED PART. I WAS TOLD I WAS GETTING A BRAND NEW FORD PART. Every single day I have to drive around with the anxiety that my suspension will collapse due to the negligence and carelessness of this shop. Before giving this shop the time of day, consider your local dealers or well accredited repair shops. This place will try and scam you and create problems in your car that was never there.

Do not visit this shop it's a scam at best and incompetent at worst!…read more I originally brought my car here for a water pump job because my normal shop was too busy. Mechanic plus replaced the pump and I drove the car for a few months before noticing the coolant leaking and oil leaking. I went to my normal shop for the oil leaking when they told me the pump was leaking again. I got the oil leaks fixed and took it to mechanic plus and the first time they claimed they pressure tested it and it was fine. I brought it back about a month after because the leak was getting worse. I dropped it on Saturday when they were closed and got a call Monday morning saying they replaced the pump again. No way they did that job in a morning. Sure enough the next day it was leaking coolant faster than before. Took it to my main shop and they informed me that the pump was never replaced and that the problem was just a broken clamp above the pump. Not only did mechanic plus lie and claim they warrantied the pump but they probably never looked at the car or they would have seen the broken clamp. Even if your car breaks down in their parking lot tow it somewhere else.
