I'm always looking for a good burger. Driven by this place before but never gave it a second thought. That is until I searched for a good place to eat and relied on my fellow Yelpers. From the outside it looks like a small barn. Inside it's got the country ambience but you instantly know this is going to be a good experience. The dining room is family style with picnic table to meet your fellow diners. I ordered the Farmhouse burger that has a fried egg and bacon on it. Who couldn't pass up the cheese fries either. Your order at the counter and they nice girls bring it out to you. Some old fashioned service...I liked that. My burger and fries came and looked amazing. Now the picture makes the burger look small but I just have big hands. The bun seems to be homemade and loved the egg running down the side. My first bite was even more than I hoped for. Lots of flavor packed inside that patty. The fries were just as good. Some places put a little shredded cheese that covers about 1/3 of the fries. Not here. Every single fry had cheese melted all over it. Greasy but in a good way. This place goes on my return list. Enjoy! read more

Service is always good, the young people are cheerful and happy to help with any questions. The only reason I gave them a 4 was due to the visit last week, the burgers were really dry and didn't have the flavor they usually do. Have heard so much about Red's since we moved here. Finally was able to check it out and I give it two thumbs up! Friendly service, great portions, and pricing was decent. We ordered cheeseburger baskets and loved the flavor and freshness of the items. Red's has the cutest decor! I could feel the town pride just looking around the room. Red's was following COVID-19 guidelines by wearing masks and having every other table separated. They also offer curbside pickup. Looking forward to trying one of their specials in the future. I have been here twice and I am not impressed. People rave about it, but I can't understand why. The burgers are a little on the expensive side, and there isn't anything really that sets them apart. The menu has basic burger joint stuff with a few things that have interesting names but are really just things you would find in a lot of semi-upscale burger places. I came here today to get a cheeseburger. The counter person must have been new. She wasn't sure if they had onion rings or onion strings, but finally decided on the latter. I can't imagine a burger place without onion rings. I ordered a cheeseburger by itself, but she kept saying basket. I finally had to correct her tell her again I just wanted a burger. It was about 1:20 when It ordered. I finally got my food about 20 minutes later. The burger was bloody in the middle, so I sent it back. They sent out another one pretty quickly. I looked it over and it appeared to be what I ordered. I forgot they use those awful bread n butter pickles. I didn't remember all of the reasons I didn't like this place last time, but it all came back to me. They should warn a people if they are going do something like that. Yuck. The burger was greasy and it had not been seasoned at all during cooking. They toast the buns which I like, but it was barely toasted‍. I ate about half of it because I was hungry. I asked a staff person about my order and they responded to me with "I don't cook the food!" I continued to wait and then here the person came with just the Philly and no Fries. I asked, "What about the Fries?" Again, a rude reply. So, I said, "I want my money back, as it has been over 30 mins," and then she went off on me. I went back up to the register, where there was a very nice and friendly girl who I think credited back my credit card. Guess I will watch my bank statement and see. That nice girl had to tell the girl who was so not nice to "Stop!," responding to me as she was. I left and went elsewhere for dinner. We both had the Twisted Oak burger which comes with smoked gouda, garlic butter, provolone, caramelized onions and lettuce and mayo. The meat was locally sourced and grass fed and was cooked perfectly. The fries were seasoned with pepper and course sea salt. Slightly crispy! I absolutely recommend the house made ranch dressing as well. Excellent selection of craft beer including Community and Lakewood. Employees are very nice and attentive. My total, including a two dollar tip for the to-go order, was just short of $20. That's quite a lot of money for a burger lunch. When I was ordering my burger, noting the high starting price, that the add-ons were $1.00, to $1.50 each, and considering the great reviews, I assumed I was going to at least get a generously sized burger, with generous, and/or exceptionally high quality, toppings. I ordered a medium rare hamburger with avocado, bacon, chilies, and onion strings, and a small fry. No drink. I got a well-done burger, with a piece and a half of decent, but not super great, bacon, and a few very thin slices of avocado, no onion strings, and a few chili peppers. When I opened the burger, I moved a bit of the avocado aside, to see if I was missing some onion strings, but aside from that, this is exactly how it fell. The person who put this burger together obviously did not GAF. Not even a small one. The fry box was not even full. On the positive side, the bun, which outsized the overcooked burger, was really good. The fries were also very good. If there had been more toppings, they would've been good, but it was a very stingy situation for the price, and I did not even get all the toppings I paid for. The avocado was ripe. The bacon was... Well, it was bacon. It's got to be pretty ***tty bacon for me to call it bad bacon. ;) read more
