I've been to this location many times so I know what to expect which is always a big delicious and freshly made burger, this visit was no different. Walked in around noon and sat at the bar, I ordered a brown ale they had on tap as well as a bacon cheeseburger medium rare with fries and a side of ranch. Oh. My. God. I was visiting from out of state and decided to stop by Tommy's on a whim today. I was NOT disappointed! They made me the best God d$&@ bacon cheeseburger I've ever put in my mouth. I'm not even joking. I almost cried. If I could give them more than 5 stars on here I would. The burger came out quick, was exquisitely made, and was served by the owner himself. It was clear that this is a local favorite spot, with people here being repeat customers, evidenced by the servers greeting them by name and chatting with them. We stopped in on a Saturday night to try Tommy's for the first time. It was really busy, but we were able to quickly find a seat. It is a small place. My husband and I both ordered cheese burgers. They come with a side or house made chips or fries. He had fries and I upgraded to onion rings. The food was really good. The burgers are 1/2 lb and juicy with the nice char on the outside. The chips and onion rings were also good. Both were served with a side of ranch dressing, which tasted homemade. Service was decent. As I said they were really busy so we didn't see her much but we also didn't need anything. I took off one star because upgrading to onion rings is $2.99 which to be honest is over priced and ridiculous. It saids you are upgrading to an appetizer, and if it was appetizer size the price would be appropriate, however it was not. I counted six onion rings. I will definitely return but won't waste my money on upgrading to what they consider an appetizer. read more

They have classic toppings on all their burgers but will gladly swap and switch out any ingredients you want for others. I chose the Mushroom Swiss while my other half got the Bacon Brie. They both came with fries but we could have upgraded to fried pickles, fried zucchini or a side salad. Service: FANTASTIC The service from start to finish was excellent. Our waiter took our order with ease and care. They got our orders correct and even managed to get all my extra sauces correct, too. ;D Ambiance: CHILL, NO-FRILLS The ambiance is great for meeting a bud, grabbing a beer or sharing a casual date night with your spouse. We sat inside at a booth, but on a nice day there's a good sized patio with picnic tables. Will we go back? Greeted me and were ready to take my order, was ordering to go so I tried the Brie burger, junkyard burger, club and a regular ol plain burger. I wish I could do half stars, because this would be a 3.5 star review. 3 feels too low, but isn't quite correct. I've been twice now. The first time was really great. We've only had the 1/4 "wimp" burgers (lol) because we generally prefer smaller patties. The burgers are pretty great, I have no real complaints, but there's also nothing unique or spectacular about their food. My second visit wasn't as great. It's almost as if they ran out of salt. For those of you who know: salt is essential and the only way to bind flavors and seasonings together, so to have a burger and fries with seemingly no salt? Fries a pretty awesome, when they're salted correctly. Vibe is pretty good, service is good and the staff makes you feel comfortable and not pressured to eat and leave. I'll definitely go back. I was in the area and looking for a place to eat when I saw a rather unassuming sign that simply read "Tommy's" at a strip mall. As there were several cars parked in the lot for it, I had to take a closer look to find that it was a restaurant, so I decided to come inside to try it out. The restaurant has more of a hole-in-the-wall sports bar atmosphere, with some games playing on televisions and a few patrons watching. There were also some families who brought their children there, so I can assume it is family friendly. The server told me to pick a seat so I chose a booth near the window. I can see there is outdoor seating available. The server gave me a menu and took my drink order--they serve Coca Cola products at Tommy's. The menu had several burger offerings, as well as sandwiches. There are also several sides as well as different beers on tap. I ordered a bacon cheddar burger with jalapeno poppers, but was informed the latter was not available, so I opted for cheesy fries instead. The food came out rather quick and was hot and fresh. The burger was quite large, had all the fixin's and was quite tasty. The fries were of the steak fries type with melted cheddar cheese and came with a side of ranch dressing. The fries were great while hot but the cheese did clump up after it cooled down. The service was wonderful, with a cheerful server regularly refilling my drink and asking if everything was alright. Overall, choosing Tommy's was quite a crap-shoot for me--I did not know what I was getting myself into and took the chance. In the end, Tommy's was a great place for a burger and a drink and I would certainly like to come back the next time I am in the area! read more

Tommy's Hamburgers has been around for a while, and I've tried most locations except this one. While out shopping, I mentioned to my son we needed to stop by since I wanted a good burger. This location was supper cute and smaller than other locations, but full of character. We were welcomed as soon as we walked into the establishment and seated immediately. Our server Stephanie was very friendly and very helpful with menu items as I am on a healthy kick. She recommended the burger bowl which is a salad with whichever burger you want. It was a great choice and I appreciated her opinion on it. She would consistently make sure our cups were full and would bring out anything we needed. The anticipation of this location was stirring inside me. I believe, the Owner is my neighbor? She's always walking all the time. Long story short. Service was good, burgers are tasty and the place is cool. I walked in and was greeted right away. Help was offered with the quickness. The cashier explained, they dont have any paper menus. You have to point and scan the QR code then the digital menu will pull up. Decided to get a regular hamburger cooked medium well with no cheese and no onions. Went with regular fries because, if you want to substitute reg fries for crinkle cut fries it will be an upcharge of $1.99 My burger was a tasty little number. Thats really an understatement. It was a fairly large well seasoned patty. It did not fall apart. It's also 100% Nolan Ryan Beef. It was very humble. It tasted like a burger your Momma would make. Mustard was put on the bottom bun only. My bun was a little old but, you couldn't tell in the taste. It was lightly toasted too. Lettuce was dark green and a little soggy but, it did not effect the taste. I ordered my burger on the spot. It was ready in minutes! While waiting, I looked around the small burger place. It had a few good quotes posted in the kitchen. See my pictures for details. Also, one of their employees was mixing a way some Ranch Dressing. Not often, do you see that. So, I was excited to try it! Apparently, customers come in asking for their signature Ranch Dressing. So, make sure you try it some time. Here's a recommendation for you. It's not new, and certainly not trendy. Just a burger joint that sells beer. THAT'S why I loved it! The 2 girls at the counter had me smiling in about 30 seconds. They were down to earth and having fun on the job. I offered to buy them some of the delicious cupcakes. They said thanks, but we'll eat them for free after we close. Lol!
