Really good pizza. Never had a bad one. Sauce is a little on the peppery side, which I love. Prices are what I expect.

Here is opinion based on two visits, one at lunchtime and one at dinner time. The pizza is good if you like thin crust. Both the sausage and the sauce taste great! They're different and taste delicious! The two times I have been there, the service has been wonderful. However, it is way too overpriced for a small pizza joint. I went back for lunch today and was sticker-shocked. $10 for two slices of thin crust pizza is too expensive in my opinion. It's good pizza, but not $5/thin-crust slice good. And for how expensive it is, the rundown interior does not match the type of pizza or its prices. Overall: good pizza, great sauce, and great service. But probably not worth the prices. This is the best pizza EVER!!!! The crust. The cheese. The sauce. I cannot say enough about this place. But especially about their cheese. It's magical. I usually get a sausage pizza with green olives OR if I'm feeling a little crazy I'll get the Eastsider. Sauerkraut on pizza?! Yes, please. The pizza fries are great for my youngest boy who loves pizza with no sauce. They have wings, hoagies & pasta. So really, everyone can get something they like. Parents had heard good things about Red Savoy and wanted to try while in the area. We ordered a large, meat raffle pizza. The pizza: the sauce was good. A great blend of sweet and salty. It is a touch runny but not enough to complain. There were plenty of toppings on the pizza (There can be too many toppings on a pizza in my opinion) but this was solid. Some reviews call out the pizza for being "greasy". In my opinion, this is solely because of the amount of cheese they use and the amount of meat. If you don't like slightly soggy crust, due to the grease, I'd order a different pizza. Crust was thin. Similar to a frozen pizza thin although MUCH better than a frozen pizza. Just for context. The 14in pizza did feed 3 adults. That said, consider adding some cheesy bread or another pizza if you have some big appetites. Overall: solid experience. Would try again! read more

Called for delivery because it was raining. Person on the phone needed me to repeat everything 3 times...my co-worker couldn't stop laughing. They told us pizza would be delivered at 12, right in time for lunch. We waited until 1230 to call and see what was going on, I swear they forgot my order! It didn't show up until 1245, my company is less than 2 miles away...straight shot. Decided to give it a second try...everyone deserves a second chance! Had a Savoy pepperoni pie last night. Yes, it was Savoy's, but I left a little disappointed. The crust wasn't as crisp. In fact, it tasted as if it had been sitting a little while. It still had the same amazing sauce, but left me a little crestfallen. I'd also say that this location has seen it's better days in terms of interior. The black paneling on the walls is scratched all over and in serious need of re-painting. The store, while having tables, could not offer plates or cups. That was disappointing. We shared a 1 liter bottle of pop and used the pizza box top as our plate. The garlic cheese bread and sauce were delicious. We love the slight kick that Savoy's sauce has. read more

Zero stars if possible... gave them a second chance after around 9 months or so due to very poor service and wrong product delivered and they wouldn't do anything about it. Called again tonight and ordered a Za. Driver nice but realized there was no sausage on my za. I called and ltold them and simply asked to credit account for my next order. It was a measly $2.50... guy asks manager and he says no I put sausage on it. I then told guy to come pick it up and refund me appropriately (I will never use cash again) They put me on hold for over five minutes and refused said they don't want my business and take it somewhere else and hung up on me. O.M.G.! This pizza is awesome! We have lived in Burnsville for 8 years and it took us this long to find Savoy. Today was our 2nd visit. (Go figure!!) Tonight was especially delightful to the point that I actually called them and told them what great pizza they have. Alexa (not the Amazon unit) answered the phone to take our order and was absolutely lovely. We called at a busy time AND picked up at a busy time. The ENTIRE staff was attentive and doing all they could to keep customers happy by letting them know when their pizzas went into the oven, etc. We also ordered buffalo wings that my husband oohed and aahed over the entire time he was eating them. His comment: "My nose is running and my tongue is happy". We are so happy to have FINALLY discovered this seemingly hidden (in plain sight) gem in Burnsville and we look forward to many more visits. Awful, awful, awful!! The pizza is only okay, but the worst part is the service. I would call for delivery and the "kid" answering the phone was very rude and unproffessional, I needed to repeat my order several times, because he kept getting distracted with his buddies and didn't hear me. Actually I made it over here once. Michael's right it's all kids working, they've pretty much taken over working the whole strip mall. I was impressed that my favorite pizza joint in the TC made it's way to Burnsville and aren't just stuck with chains. I was a walk in coming from the performing arts center after hearing an amazing talk show host live. So I was in a really good mood, anyhow. We have been ordering this pizza for 2 years. The best part is hands down the sauce! No other pizza place compares. the red suace is a little spicier and uses oregano and black pepper. It has taste compared to the nasty little caesar tasteless pizzas out there. The crust is thin. They go a little overboard with cheese which gets greasy and falls apart. I usually order take out not delivery and save money. They have a special from 2-5 pm daily a large pizza for 8.99. The best thing is it is right next door to Cherry Berry!! The crust just sucks. 2 mm thick. It's like an undercooked noodle or damp plastic. They can't even cut through it with a pizza cutter; the pieces are all stuck together by the damp crust. The toppings are good, but why on earth can they not bother themselves to make homemade pizza dough. They save a dollar per pizza by using frozen crap crust instead. Great pizza. There was a new driver that made a mistake and deluged my pizza to someone else. The manager offered to give me a free pizza next time or cancel my order. Since it had been an hit and a half, I opted to take the free one next time. The driver called to apologize which was much appreciated and understandable. The only thing that would have made it better is if they would have offered a pizza for free the night I wanted a pizza but nonetheless they amended it and I'll Jeep ordering happily. Best place in the south metro to get a slice of pizza (slice available only during lunchtime, Mon-Sat). This is thin crust pizza, with a great, spicy sauce and loads of cheese (which is why some may complain about the greasiness ... it's the tradeoff from all the cheese!) They are also famous for the italian sausage they use on the sausage pizza, which is very good. I think it's the same sausage made at a long-time Italian deli in St. Paul, near the original Savoy Inn ( don't remember the name). My wife and I ordered here last Friday to give this place a try. We ordered build your own thin crust and pizza fries. I must say we were very disappointed. When the pizza arrived it was warm but the crust was basically dough. And inedible for us to eat. So that being said we wasted 33 bucks for no reason and had to cook on our own. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! I placed my order online and it showed my pizza would be ready in 20-35mins. I walk in and there is only 1 customer waiting for an order. It took them 5 minutes before I was even asked if I had been helped. I wait 15-20 passed the time the pizza should be done. I ask where is my pizza the guy says 3 mins. Best pizza in Burnsville! I love this pizza, and once I tried it about a year ago, I couldn't go back to ordinary pizza. Try the sausage - it is awesome and you can't go wrong with it. Sausage-sauerkraut is really good, as well! The sauce is zesty and has just the right amount of heat. They don't skimp on cheese or toppings.
