Mac n cheese
Alysha W.

Pizza and pizza fries were good per usual, but I'm very disappointed that they got rid of their alfredo. I would actually crave it I liked it that much. I tried their Mac n cheese this time and it's a great portion for ten dollars, but honestly it was almost too much cheese and I LOVE cheese. It's basically noodles and melted shredded cheese. Long story short go here for good pizza not for the Mac n cheese and please if you are reading this as the owner please please consider getting back the Alfredo.

Okay if you want a quick bite to eat. Thin crust pizza, slices are a decent size. 2 slices and a water for $5.38

Visiting from out of town for work and heard this spot was good. I would not recommend this spot at…read moreall. The pros: portion sizes are huge, chicken tasted good The cons: waiter did not stop by the table once, my water was empty within the first 10 min of sitting there and i had to take my cup physically up to the counter to get water from them because i was so thirsty. I didnt see him once after that, he just stood up at the counter talking to the other server. The pasta was oily, they put so much cheese on everything that the oils from the cheese come out and my pasta literally had a layer of oil all around the plate. The mozzerella garlic bread barely had any garlic bread taste, tasted mostly like mozzerella. The mozzerella was also so oily that the garlic bread was just soggy 5 min after the waiter put the plate down. The price is steep, by myself i got an app and an entree only and it came out to 48$ before tip. Overall, for a spot with the reviews it has it completely let me down along with the locals who recommended it to me.

It should be noted that I've never actually set foot inside Bella Ciao Pasta Bar and Ristorante. I…read moreonly experienced it today through the lens of a takeout container. For lunch, I ordered the Chicken Marsala. You get to choose a side; options ranging from Alfredo Fettuccine to Green Beans to Mashed Potatoes to Spaghetti Marinara. I went for the Spaghetti. The meal also came with two breadsticks. Overall, the dish was decent but not remarkable. The highlight was the mushrooms in the Marsala wine sauce. They were flavorful and well prepared. The chicken itself was just okay. Without the sauce, it lacked seasoning, and the texture varied throughout the breast, with some parts tender and others noticeably tough or chewy. The spaghetti was good, though comparable to standard spaghetti you might find anywhere. The breadsticks, however, were disappointing; they were extremely hard and not enjoyable to eat. I also wish the Chicken Marsala and the spaghetti were packaged separately. Because of the amount of sauce, everything blended together in the container. I don't mind my food touching, but separating the items would make for a better presentation and texture. I do think other menu items may have more to offer. One mediocre experience isn't enough for me to write off the restaurant entirely, so I would consider trying something else in the future. However, I wouldn't recommend this particular dish based on today's order. Overall rating: 3/5.

Sometimes you look at a drink menu and are intrigued but a bunch of options, this place was the opposite, not one drink looked good. All of the options are very masculine in nature: vermouth, bitters, etc.. you would think there would be something with like vodka or tequila and some fruit but nope. There was one drink that almost fit that profile but they threw in pink peppercorn and I was told that under no circumstance would they alter the ingredients... makes me think the bartender is either incapable or a complete jerk. In any case, bad customer service. I came here with 3 others and no one liked their drinks.

It was clean and well maintained, with some fun newer art on the wall, but also felt dated - in a good way. We were greeted with a smile and were able to be seated right away. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the manicotti combo (one meat, one cheese) and added cheese to my garlic bread. The garlic bread was not what I was hoping for. The bread was nice, but it was kind of like dry, toasted bread. It didn't seem garlicky and I couldn't detect butter under the cheese. I dipped the bread in the sauce of my entree and that made it pretty good, but I really could have used more sauce. As for the manicotti - the presentation was very appetizing and the meat sauce was very tasty. I can not recommend the meat stuffed version though. It was dry and dense and I did not enjoy it. The cheese stuffed manicotti was really good though! I would definitely go back if I'm in the neighborhood. Would reorder cheese manicotti or try something new. Would likely ask for extra sauce for the bread.

I was told the pizza would be ready in 65 minutes. I showed up 15 minutes early (on my way home). He immediately barked out that it would be an hour more. I already had people at my house and I live 20 minutes away so waiting an hour was a huge issue. They told me I could cancel my order but then I would have had to scramble and find something different. Eventually one of the younger guys nicely said it would be ready in 20-30 minutes but the older man was shaking his head no and clearly upset. I called one of my friends who was coming late and asked him to pick them up when he was coming through. When my friends came, they said the older man was pissed at them too, using the F word and complaining that he has to deal with the larger order (8 pizzas). Super disappointing to have my pizzas 30 minutes late, after I had intentionally ordered ahead. And really discouraging to be treated so poorly on my first order and giving a big order of business. Needless to say, I won't ever go back here. Unpredictable ready times and being treated so poorly just for wanting a bigger order of pizza ready and not an hour late.
