last year I hit a block of ice on the freeway that dropped from a semi and punctured my tire on my brand new tacoma. As I pulled into the shop one of the workers noticed me outside as all of the bay doors were closed due to the extreme cold. He took care of me right away even though every bay was full and they were obviously busy. I did not get the awesome employees name that assisted me but the sales person was Darryn Barron. They put on my spare and did not charge me for that labor. Mr Barron ordered me a new tire. I was not really pleased with how long it took to get the tire (a few weeks) especially since it is a popular truck tire, but that's not Mr Barrons fault. I would definitely go there again. read more

Efficient, kind, reassuring, and super helpful. Firestone was going to charge me $500 to replace the two front tires on my car due to a flat, and didn't fully apply a warranty. They also wanted to add on a $70 oil change. Tire Rama found my tires and had an appointment for me within two days of me calling, and had my car done three hours after I dropped it off. Super kind gave it to me straight and helped me to figure out the best option. read more

I called yesterday to have a screw removed from my tire as it was leaking about 5-10psi a day and asked if they had any upcoming appointment spots that I could get in and out quickly as I'm a disabled veteran with a failed spinal fusion surgery and have a son with autism and ADHD with me, and Melanie there said "yes" and scheduled me for 1pm. Unfortunately at about noon I realized my tire was only about half of the psi it should be and I called and apologized and let her know I had to wait on someone to bring me a compressor and asked if I should reschedule, but she said it was okay and that "she'll be there until 6pm. I waited and watched for an hour and a half and asked if I could get a time estimate as I was in major pain and my son was having a hard time, and was told ,"we are JUST about to get to it"(with a smirk)There were several employees in the bay and not one single vehicle or customer left! I was the only person (with my son) in the shop waiting for that hour and a half. I would have happily and understandably rescheduled, but you take the entire day (it does take that much planning when you are single, disabled and have a child with a disability) just to be "taught a lesson" by a disgruntled employee for something out of my control. This petty behavior is going to get a review at every place I can find, so no one else has to have something similar happen to them. I know getting a screw out of a tire isn't a big ticket item, but please just communicate with customers instead of taking it out on them. I'm certain none of my family or friends will be visiting again either. read more

This review is for the 3841 Brooks Street shop. I stopped in October after my tire pressure light came on because it's on my way home. While I was at it, thought I'd get a bid on some new tires for the winter. Skip was at the desk and was totally awesome. So nice and helpful, a real gentleman also. It took 'em about 5 minutes to fix my tire issue and for "Skip" to take a look at my tires for a bid. He gave me a written estimate and I was on my way. Just this month I decided to get those tires and Skip honored the bid from October. Fair pricing and great service! Ask for Skip, he's such a class act. read more

I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but this service really bummed me out. I'm traveling from California and I've never driven in snow before and I stopped at Tire-Rama for assistance in putting chains on my camper van before I go through butte/Bozeman pass. Brent (who helped us) just chuckled at us as if he thought it was cute that we needed assistance in putting on chains. I do understand it's a tire shop not a tutorial shop.... but I thought it was a pretty simple request. He then proceeded to jack my car up (in the wrong spot) bending my vehicle, after asking him to place the jack elsewhere he became very irritated. Needless to say, I will not be returning for any further services or recommending this location. (Two stars because he actually helped us, but dang, dont be such a butthole dude) read more

Stay Away! This place tried to rip me off! I went in to get a 4 wheel alignment for my SUV and they told me my inner tie rods will have to be replaced and it would cost me close to $300... I immediately said no and went straight to the dealer, the dealer did the alignment and did it without a hitch. I told the people at the dealer and they told me my inner tie rods were in perfect condition and that Tire Rama was trying to rip me off. I don't know about the other stores that Tire Rama has, but what they did to me has me wonder about the integrity of the entire company. read more

I came in with a flat spare and another questionably poor tire for my 99 Ford Ranger. I was informed I needed two new tires and theses guys were nice and helpful but didn't have much in stock (few new alternatives and no used alternatives) for a very common model truck. They called around town and didn't find anything less expensive so I had to go with what they had--at $150/tire. I don't feel like I was gouged, but I didn't get a great price in the end. I won't buy tires here again, but I'll be happy to bring them to this Tire-Rama to have them slap new ones on. read more

The guys at this location went well above and beyond for us when we stopped to have our tires checked in the middle of a long trip. The staff at Tire-Rama are OUTSTANDING. My daughter, who is attending college in Missoula, had a problem with her car. As with many college students, her schedule was packed and her stress level was high. Being 5 hours away, I needed assistance from a mechanic to resolve a problem with her car and do it quickly so as to not impact my daughter's schedule. I called the store and they immediately offered to go get her car, bring it to the shop, fix the problem, and return it for her. AMAZING!! They were true to their word and my daughter never missed a class or any of her scheduled meetings. South Street Store, Missoula. I have been getting work done at Tire Rama for over 15 years and in general was very satisfied until recently. I took my car in do to a issue with front left side noises. They said it was the upper ball joint ~380, OK they fixed it just fine. However I called back as I was still getting noises just not as loud and it was intermittent. Well I finally get it in and it's the upper control arm needs to be replaced and I was given a quote 500.00. WAIT, how can that be? No good response, but every mechanic said it should have been caught at the time of the ball joint replacement. So obviously it was missed, so I asked for a break, they said they would dropped the cost a $100, Really?! I have given every chance for Tire Rama to do right by this, which I personally feel should be the cost of the part and maybe a small fee on labor, my logic is if it had been done right the first time most of the labor was paid, the alignment was paid, it would of added maybe another hour and the part cost. Bottom line- They missed it on the first go round and they want to have the customer pay for that mistake Just sad to see how customer service has dropped for a long term customer makes you say how will they treat new customers?! These guys are awesome - needed a new tire on my wheelbarrow. they got right on it then when I came to get it he said it was $20. I said i thought I was told it was $10. (but I wasnt positive) I was willing to compromise but with good cheer they guy knocked $10 off and insists on loading it into my car. Contrast this with my awful experience with TNT Springs that same week (see other review) now these guys GET customer service. read more

I had to replace my car license plate with a new one but couldn't get the screws out so took it to this business. They had to use drills, and cutting tools but finally got the plate off which took about 45 min. When I asked for the bill, they said - there isn't one and I was amazed. They have done things like this for me (a senior) on several occasions and I highly recommend you give them your business. read more

They were REALLY quick and helpful. Came out to house changed wheel and tire. Kn ew what they were coming for yet came without tire or wheel nut. Only had EXTRA top price tire in stock non of the three cheaper ones and had to go to O'Reillys for wheel nut. All this to put price up. But having said all this. REALLY Nice and helpful and courteous to deal with. Maybe Silly but will deal with them again. My Wife being treated properly is worth a fortune. This review is for the one on 2400 W. Broadway. I scheduled an appointment for an alignment and an oil change. After waiting for 2 hours I was told they couldn't do an alignment because of a bad tire rod and trailing arm, they then gave me an estimate of all the things they found "wrong" with my car that would cost over $1200 to repair. Plus they wanted to charge me more for the oil change then they had quoted because they topped off my windshield wiper fluid (which I did not ask for) but took it off since I complained about having to wait for so long, only after he thought it necessary to tell me it was only a little over an hour (I got there just before 3 and left just before 5). I took the car to another mechanic and they said they could find nothing wrong with my tire rod but the trailing arm is bent (a $30 part). I will be getting my trailing arm replaced and going somewhere else to get an alignment and for all future mechanical needs. read more
