The showroom is large and absolutely amazing. After a few trips to Rocket Harley Davidson you just don't want to leave. Whether it be the shiny bikes, the wide selections of options, MSF classes, or just to chat with the staff, Rocket Harley Davidson is your second home. The staff is extremely educated on bikes and can answer any at all questions you have right on the spot.(Dillian and Dallas are real nice guys) Also they spend the time to talk to you, get to know you, and are not there to try to sell you the most expensive bike with the most options that you don't need. They want what's best for you and will make suggestions regarding safety of you and your motorcycle first instead of the flashy options that you can get. Bathrooms are spotless! I traded my brand new 2020 heritage 114 325 miles (Engine failure!) because it was broke down and they kept pushing the repair date to fix it was just 1 week which turned to nearly 2 months, I finally just gave in. One of their Mechanics told me after I purchased the new one they did this on purpose to squeeze more money out of me the bike could of been fixed in the first month. I bought A Brand new 2020 S/G From them has less than 3000 miles on it. I tried to sell it back (Job Loss). they offered me 18,500 for it over the phone. went to bring it to them to look it over the salesman walks off like he is lost in space after being there an hour he finally looks at it and they said they would give me 17k for the bike forgetting about there original offer completely. read more

The service department is the absolute worst in the industry. These people are not to be trusted in any way and will clearly take advantage of new and young riders. I called and spoke to people and left my number for a follow up and was ignored. The worst part is that the 20 year old first time buyer who bought a bike less than a month ago (1500 miles) doesn't know what he doesn't know. There's no adult coaching him thru this process or teaching him the necessary skills he needs to make a purchase this large. Purchase aside, the service department took him to the cleaners for more than $520.00 for an inspection that he didn't need nor did he ask for it - they just did it. Yes, it's a business, but the point is, he took it in for an oil leak and came out owing more than $520.00. Shameful. I do not recommend servicing your bike here; if you are not careful, you may get hosed like the kid I know. WARNING! read more

bought my Roadglide Special 15 May 2021. Buying the bike was fine. They were more than helpful and friendly about it. But now here I am 08 September 2021 and I still don't have a plate for my bike. To make it even worse they tried to pass the issue off to me because my finance officer lost my registration. I have been pulled over by our local and county for the dealer plate. I showed them the paperwork that the plates are being processed and I do own the bike. The last time I was pulled over I was told impound was next. I haven't ridden my bike in two months. Every time I call its the same "we are very sorry and we will take care of it. Still no plate or temp plate that I asked for day one leaving the dealership. I even offered to bring it back no harm no foul. Out of state buyer beware. Update- Sept 17 the title department called to let me know that the third party company that handles all of the tag issuing has finally passed my paperwork off to Shelby County, TN. After four months... I guess this is their attempt to pass the buck. So now I'm at the mercy of Shelby County that I am sure is months behind and this is supposed to get Redstone off the hook. The fact is that if they wouldn't have lost my registration I wouldn't be writing this right now, if they would have given me a drive out tag like I asked for repeatedly and then updated it as time went by I wouldn't be doing this right now! If they would have just taken a minute to do the right thing I could be riding my $30K motorcycle with out fear of it getting it impounded! But no...we are just a sale and that's it. What's one bad deal when they have people lined up to buy a motorcycle everyday. And since I cannot add another review I need to add this as well. I purchased the maintenance program because I was guaranteed it was nation wide. It would be worry free and nothing out of pocket. Well I was skeptical because I knew Bumpus HD Memphis, TN was funny about that stuff but I was guaranteed by Charity my financial officer this would be a good choice and pain free. Fast forward to my first service. Reggie the Service manager at Bumpus said we don't really honor this program because what they pay and what we charge are different. So I had a choice either pay out of pocket and seek repayment or they hold my bike hostage until they get paid what they want. I will give AJ credit for getting this all taken care of and I did submit a cancelation form through Francesca the other finance manager. But my point is again if they did the right thing in the beginning I wouldn't be here doing this. read more

Got the 'ole bait & switch. Let's see if I can make this simple and quick. Experienced rider looking for a specific bike. Redstone had it in stock, online inquiry confirmed, appointment set up to see said bike. Now, I understand that between the inquiry and the appointment if the bike sells, it's just business. But I received multiple phone calls from Redstone to confirm and follow-up my appointment and interest, up to and including the morning of the appointment. I asked each time if they still had the bike, and each time I was led to believe they still had the bike. I showed up early for my appointment with my trade-in (2015 Ultra Classic Low with 16k miles- they don't make Low's anymore - so it's special) and my preapproved financing. Come to find out they sold it (the bike) two days earlier, same day I inquired about the bike. I understand business, I don't understand deceit. They kept me coming in, thinking I'm some Yay Hoo that was just "Hot" after a bike. I went elsewhere in 2015 (Bumpus HD), and I'll go elsewhere again. Name may have changed but their spots have not. Update: Thanks to Harley-Davidson of Columbia (Steve Cain) for selling me my new 2020 Ultra Limited! Delivered to my house and picking up my trade-in. I have three Harleys and I went into the Redstone Harley-Davidson to inquire about having an oil change, new battery, new tires put on my 1995 Heritage Softail Classic and I ask the service writer what I had and he said "before you go any further we don't work on anything below 1995 Harleys". I didn't realize there were different oils, batteries, and tires for any bike 1995 and below. I am going to buy a trike to add to my collection and will buy it elsewhere as well as all other equipment used for riding. I did purchase a helmet and headset to accompany it for a little over $500.00 this month and will from now on take my business where it is appreciated. The ladies at the clothing department are extremely helpful and sweet. read more

My Fiancé and I bought a Harley Street Glide in April 2022. Since buying it we have had the worst experience with Redstone Harley. They openly admitted that they never inspected the bike before selling it to us and we had to bring it back a week later to do that and perform a service that was never done. The wires of the handlebar were wrong and had to be fixed, a mirror was missing, and the oil hadn't been changed. After this situation, we got a letter from the bank stating there was an issue. We drove to Redstone Harley where the new manager apologized and said they lost our paperwork, they finally found it after waiting around for over an hour. On top of all of this, the tires on the bike were never checked and they need to be changed. According to a salesman at this Harley, they should have replaced the tires during the service they did late after we had already bought the bike. When this was brought up to management, they admitted there were no notes found from the service so they do not know what condition the tires were in when they sold it to us, but they would not replace them for us. We have had the bike less than 2 months at the time of this conversation and have only done short rides around town. There is no way in less than two months we need new tires due to our riding. The management refused to return phone calls and will not replace the tires when there should have been brand new tires put on in the first place. After all this all we were offered was a T-shirt for our troubles. We will never buy anything from Redstone Harley Again and highly recommend you go elsewhere when buying your Harley. read more

I was told I would be given a 2.9% APR on my bike loan. Shame on me for not reading more closely. It was actually over 8%. I spoke with the person in charge of financing at Redstone and explained the situation and was promised I would get a call in the next day with a verdict. Been two months and no call. Since then I've talked my friends into buying their bikes elsewhere. read more

A while ago I tried to buy a new bike from Rocket H-D. They are very difficult to deal with. I could not get clear, straight answers to my questions. They kept changing the quoted price and fees in what I felt was an attempt to confuse. After pressing very hard I learned that their freight and assembly charges and "documentation" fee are outlandishly high. They also charge nearly double the standard charge for a new bike title. I bought elsewhere and got a much better price and much better dealer experience. Trying to purchase a new bike from Rocket H-D felt like dealing with a sleazy used car dealer. Since that time I have been to Rocket H-D for some safety recall work and to purchase a new tire (only because they are the closet dealer). The work was handled promptly and apparently correctly. The staff was courteous and acted in a friendly manner. I did not do a dealer to dealer comparison on the new tire price as I felt the time and expense of going to another (farther away) dealer would probably wipe out any cost savings. My conclusion from all this is that Rocket H-D is OK for warranty work (which you don't have to pay for), is somewhat pricey for service work, and is not the place to purchase a new (or used) bike. read more

The prices are outrageously high and on top of that they wouldn't honor a 100.00 gift card that I had gotten for a gift because they had changed owners. It was either here or in Atlanta that I was to buy my baby - my harley- and this place was the best. They were just down to earth honest and have me the best deal. This was after me going back and forth between dealers for about a month trying to see inventory and prices. I would give them 5 stars but the Atlanta dealers hard larger inventory to choose from many times. Still- nice people and knowledgable about the product. I'd go again.... Awesome service. My Google maps app pulled up a location that no longer existed. Needless to say I was lost. I pulled over and looked up the number and called them. Jennifer answered the phone and asked where I was and I responded I have no idea I'm not from here. She told me to tell her what I see and then said I know exactly where you are. She gave me the directions and advised me she will have hot coffee waiting on me. When I got there sure enough she had the hot coffee waiting. Awesome. I went to purchase a t-shirt and she asked if I would like to stay for a while and watch tv, play pool enjoy the free sodas and snacks. Awesome! She also recommended a couple of local places for dinner/lunch since I'm not from here. That is service that you can't put a price on. The entire staff was very friendly and all offered assistance. Great Job! I don't live here but will tell you based on my experience this is the place you might want to buy your bike from. If the service is that good for a t-shirt I can only imagine what it will be like if you bought a bike. read more

I went to the dealership to get some new mufflers for my HD because I wanted to upgrade my exhaust (and air, so got a new air filter setup). When my parts came in, I picked them up, took them home, and eagerly set about getting them on my bike. The next day I took my bike up to the dealership to have it re-mapped and so they could look at the pipes. Turns out they ordered the wrong ones. The next day (is when they discovered this little problem) I get a call telling me what was wrong. Said they would call me back in a minute. 10'ish minutes later they call me and tell me that they have ordered the right pipes for my bike, that they will install them themselves at no cost to me, and my only charge will be for what I origionally brought my bike in for. They went well above the service that I would expect from ANY company to fix the problem and make sure that I was satisfied. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy a bike (or parts) to go see this HD dealership. On a side note, if your looking to buy a bike, ask for Skip. Tell him what your looking to do (long distance rides, around town, etc.) and he will not sugar coat it or steer you wrong. read more
