I'm a beer nerd, I've been to many different beer stores. This one is my favorite. Tons of Bombers/750s of really fancy/rare/good beers. Belgians, Trappist, Germans, American Craft beers of all types, lambics, sours, DIPAs, RIS theyre all here. Their prices are competitive with anywhere else I've been, if anything better. Havent been to a better beer store. Davis Square wine and spirits has better 6 pack selection, this place has better total beer selection. They also occasional do tastings and updated twitter when they get interesting new things in stock. read more

This place really is as good as it gets if you're into craft beer and whiskey/bourbon. Their selection is second-to-none and they can order/procure almost anything you're looking for. The one downside? They're too well-known now, haha. If they tweet or FB that they've received a limited supply of something new or awesome (Lagunitas Sucks! comes to mind) it's a virtual lock that it'll be gone in an hour. At times they'll hold items for you with just a FB comment but for the rare stuff they don't do holds. I respect the policy even though it means I'm usually sitting at work lamenting my inability to add to my wall featuring bottles of rare or interesting beers while others savor their victories. Some places in the area are starting to come around with the type of selection that Redstone carries but they can't seem to sync up the selection with the expertise needed to sell people on new and great beers. THE place to go to find craft beers that you've never tried. They are always bringing in new &/or hard to find beers. The guys are very knowledgeable about their selection and always helpful. I can never just run in to grab something. It never fails, I find too many things I want & then I think..."might as well get at least 6 for the discount." Best whiskey/bourbon selection around, bar none! Want Willett Family Estate Rye? there is a good chance they will have some.. Parkers' Heritage, Jefferson Presidential, a few EHTaylors... MANY more Scotches than I can name, and I can name about 50. and the best part is they are one of the lowest price places for good whiskey/spirits around. Like other good stores, they select their own barrels too (Masterson's Rye, Angel's Envy, Eagle Rare to name a few) what more? they probably carry about 40 whiskeys from small American distilleries/lables, like WhipperSnapper, Templeton St. George, Ipswich, Berkshire and Bully Boy. want Pappy?... A friend told me he heard "the liquor store next to the recently closed Shaws in Stoneham had a great selection of beers". I love craft beers. So I went. Holy smokes! Can't believe I didn't know a shop like this was so close by. Many hard to find Trappist Ales. Beers I've never heard of - been trying as many as I can - it's been one pleasant discovery after another. (a few faves: Verboten. Full Sail. Mayflower. Ipswich. HeBrew "The Chosen Beer".) Another big plus is the staff - helpful and passionate, ready to assist with their expertise if asked. The only other shop I know with a selection of beer this good is in Davis Square Somerville, but the staff here really bring it home. Great shop for craft beer, they have a huge selection of domestic and foreign beers. The employees are very nice, and helpful if you want a suggestion for a particular style of beer. The Andover location is great as well. read more

I'll echo the others who say that they offer a great selection of liquors, but the prices leave much to be desired.

I stopped by on my way up to NH to check out the beer selection. They had an excellent, huge selection. I found a few brews that were seasonal/limited release that had been sold out for weeks at most other craft beer places, but Redstone had plenty in stock. I paid the $15 per bottle for four bottles of Clown Shoes Rexx (my personal favorite) and $10 for four bottles of Southern Tier Warlock. However, having now tried 5 of those 8 bottles, they're all skunked or sour. They went from a shelf at Redstone, to a cooler with ice in the car, to a refrigerator, back to a cooler with ice, then to a refrigerator again. No time to get warm. My taste buds and my wallet are pretty disappointed. Will probably try again next time I'm up that way, hoping for a different result. read more

YES!!! I cannot believe I didn't know this place was there. I went to Extreme Beer Fest and tried some stuff from Dark Horse Brewery. I contacted the DH distributor and he told me I could find their beers here. They have an AWESOME selection of craft beer. I was even able to find a few other beers from EBF that I hadn't seen anywhere else locally. The guy behind the counter was super helpful and was able to locate a scotch I had been looking for and suggest a good bourbon for me to try. EPIC SCORE!!! read more

This is THE BEST place to buy hard cider. We stop here and stock up when in the area! Haven't found a closer or better place!

Absolutely fantastic selection of craft beers (super selection of IPA's and Stouts). Staff are very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their beers. Only downside is beer is a little pricier than other places, but most other places can't match the selection. read more

Great A++ craft beer selection. The owners/staff are as well versed and helpful as could be expected on what they offer. I am strictly a craft beer person at this point in my life but I have listened to the owners/staff review wine and liquor to other customers and they seem to have grasp on everything that comes through their door. They get first run on many selections of craft beers and will not stock something that is not current so once the first run of something is out you may find it at Bobs Liquors getting stale but Redstone is on to the next freshest thing. This is a go to store, I work as an HVAC tech out of a van and have no set end point for my day, I could be next door at 5 O'clock or I could be New Hampshire but I often find myself going out of my way on a Friday after work to get to this store passing 20 other liquor stores on the way. You can browse without hassle, grab what you know you want, or ask and explain what you are looking for and they will point you in the right direction. If you want Bud lite lime they have it and if you want a $100 six pack they have it. They also have many beer tastings on Friday nights but call first if you are expecting one it seems to be not as frequent in the winter. read more

Kamal and his team have put together a collection of spectacular libations from 1200 beers and 400 of the whisky, scotch, rye, bourbon family, to incredible craft gins, vintage ports, cigars and anything in between. I consistently meet people from as far as Maine and Vermont whom trust completely in the collection amassed here. So recently these people moved out to the Front of the Redstone shopping center. BRAVO! No longer alone by themselves behind the main shopping center. They have increased their space, selections of liquors, wines and beers as well as adjusted their prices down somewhat. The WINE and BEER selection rivals that of a NH liquor store. Lot's of varieties and choices. Now there is more than one liquor store in Stoneham with a large selection. And the prices are better and it's easier to get into and out of. Im excited! read more
