I have the best experience! I have so much anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I am almost through the process of getting a dental implant. I was so scared but the process has been wonderful. The Dr and his staff do everything they can to make sure I feel comfortable and safe. Today they installed the screw that is basically going to hold the implant. I appreciate this practice in our small town. I cannot envision a better place. Everyone is cool and very friendly. The staff are compassionate and explain everything very well. I have 2 kids under 10, and they understood everything each member of staff said to them. Lindsey, Hygienist, was excellent. She has a comforting manner. I felt very bad for being late for my appointment because she was prompt and efficient. She is lovely. The boss is wonderful. Dr Hassan is fantastic with kids & burnt out parents. He is likely excellent with other folk. Indeed everyone in the office have been delightful to work with. I was a difficult patient to nail down, and they were gracious. I have more work upcoming, some repairs, some whitening, and a replacement night guard to help my grinding and I am actually looking forward to going to the dentist! Update: I went to get a teeth whitening and it was a great experience. First off let me just say my teeth are noticeably whiter. I had been using the Opalescence at-home treatment prior, so I had some experience with teeth whitening. However, one of the biggest differences for me was the fact that with the at-home treatments, it bleaches your gums and dries out your tongue, lips, and gums. I find this usually takes up to a week to really go away and I find this aspect of whitening really irritating. However, with Redwood Dental, they have a really elaborate procedure where the bleaching agent only really contacts the teeth, not the gums or the lips, and I didn't see any gum bleaching or feel any discomfort afterwards. I think there was a little sensitivity that went away after the first day, but it was not bad at all. They say you're supposed to go easy on your teeth that same day so I just had water the rest of the day. I'm definitely going to go back and get more whitening treatments done. I had to really shop around to find a good dentist, but now I'm glad I found Redwood Dental. They really care and go the extra mile. read more

The most fabulous dental service. I've had crowns and lots of dental work since my teens. For the past 10 years, I've searched for a dental office to replace my wonderful dentist of 20 years that retired. Dr Hassan and his team are, by far, the best of the 9 dentists I tried. Professional, competent, friendly, considerate, polite and interested in the optimal (not too much) treatment. Dr Hassan has very advanced equipment like total mouth panoramic X-ray, lots of in mouth photos to demonstrate to patient and gauge progress over time of areas that need watching, and much more! Photo specifications for crowns and bridges, instead of old fashion, questionable accuracy, rubber tray impressions. Quality and comfortable service that felt like a day spa treatment. What a pleasure! They have a tremendous, in office, 'insurance' plan that provides generous discounts from an already pleasant fee structure. I'm overjoyed I found Dr Hassan, and, particularly, Lindsey, the super competent Hygienist. I will start out by warning that I'm long winded. Also, I lost my home to the fires, and have been very sensitive to experiences. I have had a long sordid and at times terrifying experience with Western Dental. Causing me to refuse dental work for 4 years. My teeth had always been very healthy and a pride point. After going to Western Dental for a regular exam and teeth cleaning I ended up experiencing some new odd pain. I went back and was advised I had a cavity in nearly every tooth. This was new and odd because my previous dentist said my teeth were perfect. (He retired) Fast forward I went through a lot of dental work at Western dental that looking back on was unnecessary. I changed dentists and was informed I had drill holes in all my teeth. I'm only assuming Western dental did these drill holes during my cleaning to put my teeth at risk of cavities and here we are. (New dentist retired) I himmed & hawed about ever going to another dentist again now that my mouth was in essence destroyed. I asked my uncle for a referral, then posted online and the vast majority referred me to Redwood Dental & Dr. Hassan. I called excited & was not disappointed. An angel answered the phone, listened and was incredibly kind. She was informed, understanding, and scheduled me for an initial exam. She explained their practice and procedures. She confirmed they accept my dental insurance and moving forward what to expect. Perfect. The angel is named Kim, but look close, she has a halo. Upon my first appointment I met the Dental assistant who did my x rays. He was professional, polite, and very gentle. My mouth is small and my gums were sensitive and painful. With that said, he did such a great job at keeping things very smooth. His name is Hershel, and I think he's a gifted asset to this world. I wasn't worried one bit about pain during xray. (Previously, Western dental made my mouth bleed) Last but not least I met the dentist. Dr. Hassan was so kind, professional, and easy to deal with. He educated me on what to expect. He didn't push me to do everything at once. He helped me to see the big picture and see a path to better dental health. He also let me know that I could take small steps to gain big rewards in the future. For example, my gums will get better with the issues fixed and not creating or keeping my mouth soreness. He also helped me get set up with a tooth care kit. I love it and am so grateful. I prayed to God for an answer. I got an answer and so much more. BTW I'm nearly deaf and struggle a bit. No one made waves or acted out of turn. Couldn't have been a better experience.
