If you have ever seen the videos of cats pushing things off of counters and tables and just had yourself a good ol' chuckle?... I was laughing right there with you. Recently I fell victim to one of those little evil doers. There was this really nice older mirror on the bathroom counter. The cat (as I was walking in) literally pushed it off sending it to the tile floor and to its demise. Not certain, but he must have thought the mirror made him look fat or he was just critiquing the artistic merit the piece. Either way, I swear that as it was falling, he just stared into my eyes and appeared to flip me the bird. I called 3 shops, 1st just said "no" 2nd quoted a ridiculous price and recommended just buying another, finally got to Don at Redwood Glass. He had me leave the frame after giving a very fair quote. Was ready to go within a couple days and looks absolutely amazing. Could not be happier with the results and with the entire process working with Don. When I went into the shop Don was there to take my order and promptly turned it around in one day. I called and was told " F-350 rear window we don't have them, and I don't know if we can get them". Well that is interesting because your companies competitor Butler Auto Glass found one in 5 minutes. I called at 0800 and they installed at 1:30. Why? Because they treated me with dignity and respect, and took time to go above and beyond for a customer. When I called Redwood Auto Glass this business seemed like I was putting them out... sorry for offering to pay for a 1,500 window. But Butlers Auto Glass says thank you! I would love to share an experience, however I contacted the owner over a week ago, spoke with him, got his cell number and sent him pictures of the easy job I had, even sent follow up texts and I got no reply. I could easily understand if he sent me a reply saying, it's out of his scope, he's too busy, or even if he said I don't want the job, but to not even reply after you stated, "I'll call you back today" (I gave him my number and got his cell) is a huge warning sign. I'm sure it's a good place to contact if you are willing to wait a month for a reply, unfortunately I don't have that kind of time to waste. read more

We contacted three glass companies for quotes on replacing some of our defective double pane windows; one in Santa Rosa, one in Petaluma which actually came out and measured but never gave us a quote!
