Look elsewhere first! They messed up a railing of ours, gave it to us wrapped up in protective material. When we installed it we discovered a large defect in product. Sort of a boiled or burned look over the top of the railing 3"-4" large. I sent them a photo and they admitted it was their mistake. It was logistically impossible to uninstall for the repair. When we asked for compensation, they reversed their admission that it had been a defect of the process and instead Kimberly suggested an animal had peed on it and destroyed the coating. They insisted we had made the error after acknowledging that it was their error. Kimberly insisted she knew it was not something they did. It was insulting to my intelligence frankly to suggest that animal pee "Or whatever" was the problem rather than bad workmanship that simply was not given enough oversight. No accountability in this crew. They've lost my business. read more

The long and the short of it. I bring in my ugly paint chipped motorcycle frame and get a quote to prep and coat it. It takes forever to complete the work and get it back. I build the entire bike and ride it up and down the driveway once. All the cracks in the frame show up. Who preps a frame and powder coats right over cracks in a frame!!!! So i bring it back. Response: If I,me, prep the frame this time around, it will cost less for them to coat the second time around. Did they crack the frame? No. Were they supposed to fix it? No. Do I need strip the area to fix the frame now? Yes. Maybe I'm tripping but I think if you do the prep work on a functioning object you make sure its ready to be coated Or explain that, I the customer, will need to review the part for a final OK, something. Not, " If you burn the coating off it will save you money for us to re-coat" Now I have a frame that needs to be coated twice a full price and it will never be MPC again. read more

Overpriced, slow, not pleased with the quality of work. Overall very disappointed. I purchased some handmade metal work with the option to have it powder coated by the manufacturer. It would have been about $60. I decided against it because I wanted to go local and assumed the cost would be close. I took my material to MPC and their quote was more than double. The guy who gave it to seemed to just pull a random number out of the air. In a bind, we said OK. When I asked how long it would take, they said two weeks, which seemed long, but acceptable. That was the weekend before Thanksgiving. Fast forward to 2016. Our holidays were busy, but I expected at least a call. Nothing at all. I called before Christmas and they were closed for the holidays. I called again after the new year and was told that they haven't started, yet! Then, magically, the next day I received a call that they were ready. No apologies at any time. The only explanation was that "it was the holidays." WTF? I just wanted to be done with them, so we picked up our stuff and left. I didn't really care to look at them before hand because I was just done with them. After getting home and looking, my fears were confirmed. It looks like crap, probably because it was a rush job. The finish is rough, not smooth. It honesty looks like they were just spray painted, with K-Mart paint. Anyway, first and last time we do business with them. read more

Had a bad experience with Vaider Power Coating in Rohnert Park. Quick story, took them an antique bed frame and was told it would be 3-4 weeks to get the work done. After 7 weeks, when it still was not complete (not even started!), I picked it up and took it to Miller. I was told it would take a couple of weeks. I received a phone call 2 days later to say the bed frame was ready for pick up. I was absolutely thrilled. It looks fantastic! I totally recommend Miller Power Coating! read more

I had Miller Powder Coating refinish my 1983 Honda Odyssey roll bar parts and chassis. I chose brilliant red and a metallic silver for the frame. I was given a very reasonable quote, dropped off the parts and was amazed at the results when I picked them up. They were absolutely gorgeous with a high gloss sheen and no imperfections. Called about two weeks ago inquiring price. Took the time to visit this morning and upon arrival, requested a tour of facility. Objective was to review process and see type of equipment to ensure quality work. Was told by woman at desk that "...you don't need to see our facility...." in a very unprofessional and dismissive manner-frankly just plain rude. Was surprising considering no work was being performed and they really did have the opportunity to take a few moments to secure a solid relationship. I am restoring a vintage vehicle and had intended to have numerous parts, both large and small, powder-coated. Given the current economic environment, one would think a small service-providing business would make a sincere attempt to secure business. Nothing 'great' or 'friendly' about this place. Am very disappointed and now have to change my plans dramatically. Probably for the better since I am intending to restore vehicle to show car standards and MPC, by all indications thus far, would have been a disappointment. This is a great, customer-friendly resource for anyone who wants to revive chipped and/or rusted metal garden/patio furniture; or any other metal objects, for that matter. I was able to pick up several pieces of 1940s wrought iron outdoor furniture that had seen better days. After a week with MPC I brought home a set of beautifully refinished pieces that would have cost me thousands of dollars if I had to purchase them new. And they even welded a couple of slats that had come loose over the years! I couldn't be more pleased with the results! read more

Very unprofessional. The day I took my part in to get powder coated the staff was relatively friendly and helpful. They told me it was going to be done in a week, they continued to push the deadline forward a week, until finally I received my part three weeks later. Only after calling continuously asking when my part would finally be finished. They were rude and in the end had horrible customer service. I'm disappointed because I have a lot more parts that need to be PC'd and need to find someone else to get it don't, I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY STUFF BACK THERE AND WILL NOT REFFER MILLER POWDER COATING TO ANYONE. read more

I got tired of people marring the running boards on my hot rod and took them to Miller Powder Coating for a bullet-proof finish. Not only did one of their off-the-shelf colors match the shade of the car almost perfectly, but Greg put a flat clear-coat over the red to mimic the sheen on the rest of the rod. The result was absolutely beautiful. I wish I could have them do the whole car for me! Friendly, pleasant folks, a quick turn-around and a reasonable price.
