We aren't sure they ever did an inspection on the well or the septic because we were supposed to receive the inspection reports for both services and we never received either one. We tried calling Estes but they never answer their phone. Our agent tried calling them but they never answered any of his calls either, nor did they ever call any of us back. They had no problems taking our money though. We paid for a home warranty when we purchased our home because there were things that didn't quite work right when we purchased the home. We found that almost all of the faucets leaked. When we contacted the home warranty company they told us they were sending out, you guessed it, Estes. They gave us a window of between 11:00 and 3:30. We waited that whole time for them to show up but they never did. We called the warranty company the next day to let them know Estes never showed up. We were told that Estes reported that they didn't find anything wrong with the system (plumbing fixtures). Well of course not, you'd actually have to show up to find something wrong with the system. So the warranty company told us they would, again, be scheduling for someone to come out to address the issues we were having. Lo and behold Estes took that call and have us the same window. And again they never showed up and didn't call to let us know what was going on. This time we called the warranty company asking them to contact Estes to confirm the appointment. However, Estes never answered the warranty company's call either. Then we called again after the service window letting the warranty company know that, once again, Estes never showed up nor did they call. In conclusion we wouldn't refer anyone to.this company to do any kind of work because they don't show up and they don't answer your call yet they don't have any trouble taking your money.

I treat each company that comes out with respect; we discuss the various aspects of the job and how the job will be performed. Ultimately, we end up in salary (project cost) discussions. COMMUNICATION Wyatt and Son's was incredibly impressive. I used the Yelp projects system, and communication was seamless. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Replace a Bradford 50g water heater (leaking from the top) 2. Replace a Kenmore water softener that was 15 years old. 3. Fix a 40' run of 2.5" kitchen sink pipe detached from the ceiling due to the strap cables, held in by nails, used by the original installers. It wasn't draining anymore and was full of gunk. TECHNICAL INTERACTIONS I'm an incredibly technical person and engineer. I research everything from plumbing, electrical, carpet, etc. I like to know how things are installed and how they work for the simple fact of educating myself to get the best use out of everything. Barry and his son answered every question, and I never felt disrespected. While Barry has an opinion on specific equipment, which people should have, he walked me through the "whys" of arriving at his conclusion. Barry's approach demonstrated his openness to educating others and learning himself. I appreciated our time. PRICE Wyatt & Son's Plumbing price is incredibly competitive. There are a couple of things I look at: 1. How much am I paying for parts? 2. How much am I paying for labor? Parts are a commodity. You can find every price for every item online. I'm not a fan of companies who mark up their prices. I have to pay sales tax on parts, and every dollar added is more money out of my pocket on taxes. FINAL DECISION The decision came down to Wyatt and Son's Plumbing and another company. Nothing is worse than telling a fantastic candidate/company they won't receive the job. I had no joy in sending the message to Barry, and still, as of writing this review, I'd have Barry out in a heartbeat to quote the next job; there will always be another. TO THE READER Wyatt & Son's Plumbing must be a part of your quoting process. Their professionalism is top-notch, their interactions and knowledge are excellent, and their pricing is incredibly competitive, way cheaper than the large companies. This is horrible business practice, and I will no longer be doing business with Plumbing Heating Paramedics. This company promotes pulling a fast one on their customers, as Wayne the tech mentioned to me he knows the part is very inexpensive, yet still chooses to work for this company, and then was attempting to force his religeon on me by saying I would be finding Jesus some day. BEWARE of this company who trains their employees to follow this poor business practice.

Because I had purchased a furnace from Plumbing and Heating Paramedics and received excellent…read moreservice and a fair price, they were first on my list when I found an outdoor water faucet frozen after the winter's cold weather. A technician came out and inspected it. He said he needed to turn water off to the whole house but probably would run into a problem with the shut off valve, and recommended that be replaced also. The total bill was going to be almost $1000. I wanted to think about it so paid him $85 for a service call and told him I would get back to him in a few days. In the meantime I spoke with a friend who has some plumbing knowledge and he told me how to make the repair. I didn't need to shut off the water at all. It cost me less than $6 and took about 5 minutes. I definitely feel I this technician was trying to swindle me. I called the owner and asked to speak with him to give him a chance to rectify the situation, but after leaving a message because he wasn't available never got a return call. I would avoid these people because now I sincerely questioned their honesty and/or competency.

March 1 of this year this company came clear up on my property without asking to install a…read moreneighbors sewer line via boring underground! I got ahold of Mr Fesler and was assured he would put my yard back to my satisfaction. he has never called written or contacted me in anyway. I have been contacting the city of Anderson of the problem. Finally, today I come home to a mess of straw in my side yard that appears to have seeds with many more tractor tracks in the part that wasn't damaged before along with large rocks all through the strawed part. I informed the city/county drainage offices. I cannot mow rocks and ruts! I am a 65 year old man that I believe am taken advantage of. By the way. The mud that has been washing through my yard all spring and has clogged an underground drain. (drainage office has no record of the drain) it's formed a sink hole in my yard. I was told I couldn't fill in the sink hole of the undocumented drain! as it carry's the water from the entire back side of the neighborhood! Yet Feslers can throw gravel mud pieces of the street in the drainage ditch that feeds it!
