We recently contacted Reeg Plumbing for a problem with our bathtub faucet: no cold water, only lukewarm water from the faucet. It didn't seem like a difficult problem, but we had three (3) other plumbing companies come out, and they couldn't figure out the problem. Chris came out, listened to our description of the problem, and within an hour, he had fixed it! I think the main problem was that the other plumbers had no idea how to work with the Hans Grohe brand, but Chris did and it now works perfectly. Second time we reached out to REEG for help because the first experience was great. Used their online form to describe the issue, got a call back later the same day. Our issue was not urgent. They sent out someone first thing the next morning. Professional examined the two toilets with slow flow, tried an auger to unblock, found the sewer access drain was full to the top with water. Determined sewer rodding was required. They were booked with appointments that day so provided me with a partner company that could assist. That partner company arrived end of day and resolved it. Josh Brodie with a bit of assistance from Chris Plywacz got to the bottom of the problem (literally) on a Saturday, with a clog at the bottom of one of our seven sanitary stacks. I found a leak in my basement and tracked it down to the kitchen sink. I reached out to Reeg for a repair. I spoke with Chris (who is VERY friendly). After sending a photo, he booked for the next day as the job should only take an hour or two. I was stoked to get it resolved. Bode was assigned and scheduled to arrive between 10-12am. He was running late (it happens) and Reeg called to let me know. No worries! Bode is super friendly also. After looking at the issue in person he spotted another BIGGER leak... CRAP (literally). He said he needed to get the owner out to do an estimate. I called the following day after not hearing from them. I thought they would call me but might have been confused on that. I left a message. When they called me back the following morning their scheduler told me she could get me on the schedule for an ESTIMATE 2 weeks later! No idea how long completing the work might take... No bueno. At this point I am doing dishes in the powder room sink and dumping a bucket catching leak water several times a day to prevent a damaging basement flood. I guess I don't understand why a 2 hour repair could be performed next day but an ESTIMATE on a "big job" (wouldn't they want the work?) takes TWO FREAKING WEEKS! If there had been a temporary solution offered I might have waited. It just isn't reasonable to not have a functioning kitchen sink for 3 weeks or longer. They are nice folks but I had to go elsewhere. I wanted to hire Reeg. Maybe additional time could be allotted for estimates? ‍ Or someone in addition to the owner could be empowered to perform estimates? I would try them again for other plumbing projects if it wasn't an urgent issue. read more

When you call to leave a message, 1st question is always are you a customer presently When plumber came he did not have the part. part was ordered and 2 weeks later was installed. When I received invoice there was a charge for initial visit and subsequent installation visit. It cost over $300 to replace washer. When I questioned the charge, I was told I got a break, and the 'old poor me about hard it is staying in business.'
