Greg Hannah Plumbing was a life-saver for us! Our sewer was backing up. We have a sewer valve but that company was unable to come until the following week. Our regular plumber was out of town. We were hosting several gatherings in upcoming days. Couldn't use the shower, dishwasher, or washing machine. Even flushing toilets was a risk. We called several plumbers and Hannah was the only one who could come out that day. The guys showed up at 5pm after a long cold day of work (it was frigid). Omar and Alex and were so friendly and efficient. They knew how to maneuver around the valve parts to rod inside the house, then from the valve to the street. Then they scoped both pipes to make sure they were in good shape. They didn't rush through the job. It was a bit expensive (an emergency, after all...) but Worth. Every. Penney. These guys are a bunch of scam artists! They left me four days without being able to flush bathrooms, they came back three times. Tried to sell me on major sewer repair when all I needed was a cutter put into the sewer to cut the ROOTS! Last week I had a sewer problem...One of my drain lines seemed to be plugged up along with one of my floor drains, so a sewer guy was sent out to fix the problem...Well, this guy named Omar brought a snake to snake out the problem area....He fooled around for about 20 minutes, then he tells me this story that the problem was more severe and that he had to bring in more equipment the next day, and charge me $750.00...WTF? My wife found out about it and had a chitt fit.. I cancelled the next $750.00 visit, Didn't fix anything, and guess what?...They still charged me $245.00 for the initial visit !!!!!!!!!!......and they didn't fix a damn thing..Luckily I found a sewer guy come in with a snake, fixed the problem within an hour, and it's been fine ever since......And all he charged me was $100.00....Stay away from Hannah plumbing.. They are a bunch of thieves. Don't know why I even called these guys in the first place,..and don't know why they get all these positive reviews...They didn't do anything to fix my problem for a reasonable amount...They didn't fix anything and still charged me $245.00????..So..unless you like used car salesmen, and are a millionaire, Stay away! read more

This review is strictly based on customer service, since they never actually did a job. You would have to show up to the estimate to get the job....... Like many, we had some flooding recently, so called about getting an estimate on some options for flood prevention, such as a backwater valve or a flood control system. Called on a Friday, and was told they'd be out Wednesday. No one shows up on Wednesday so I call and get a voicemail, and left a message. No call back. Call again the next day on Thursday and am told he never wrote the appointment on the schedule and he can come out the following Tuesday. No thanks....... I'll give my money to a company that wants to do the little things right, like showing up......... read more

I can honestly say that Carl and G that work for Hannah Plumbing did an excellent job installing a new toilet and shut off valves in our bathroom yesterday. My problem is that they also unplugged our Condensate Drain Line for our air conditioner which caused a very small leak in the line. When I showed it to Carl before they left, he told me that they do not fix that kind of pipe. We paid them $1,350.00 in full. Later I was thinking that it was strange that they couldn't fix this small leak. I called the owner, Greg Hannah. He was very nice, asked me to send pics. He called be back today and told me that Carl said that he DID NOT even attempt to clear that drain. Carl is definitely lying and Greg would not believe me. In tears, I called them crooks and hung up. Maybe because we are in our 70's they feel that they can take advantage of Senior Citizens. I will offer up a Mass, Holy Communion and say the rosary for Carl so he would admit his lies and come clean and not get fired. I guess Greg has to believe his workers over his customers. Had such a great experience! My neighbor told me that this was an honest company which was perfect because another company tried to sell me a huge fix for a small problem. Greg came in and explained what he would have to do. Made an appointment time for the following week to do the job. Showed up as promised and the two workers did the fixing of the problem in my kitchen sink. The house is old and there was a grease pit some place on my property. Since I didn't know where the workers closed the pipe and made a new route for the sink to drain into the sewer. It took as long as predicted and it was even less than the estimated cost. So perfect! Greg Hannah is now my go-to company to call for anything plumbing related! They've done jobs both big and small for me now, from repairing my broken sewer line (buried very deep underneath the street) to locating and repairing a small leak from a hidden pipe leading to my bathroom sink before it became a big problem. The two techs that did that job were quick, hardworking, and respectful of my home and I feel like I paid a fair price. The sewer repair was a fair price too, the cost was quite a bit less (and fit into my insurance budget!) than another big plumbing company had quoted me. Greg himself even came out to give me an estimate for installing a backflow-preventer, and even though I didn't move forward with that job, i was still pleased by his timeliness and his ability to answer all of my one-million questions. Back in the fall I had an issue with the water backing up on the toilet line. This company sent out a technician that rodded our the toilet line and charged me $650. Four months later - same problem They sent another plumber and I am not sure what he did but he charged me another $200. I followed up with an email questioning the charges and service and never got a response. I was looking for long term solution. I had to call another company to come and look at the issue and offer me a long term solution. Very disappointing! read more

WARNING! Do not trust this company. They will charge you AFTER they do the work and then threaten to put a lien on your property! I called them for an estimate for a repair on my sewer line. I provided video, photos and report of a scope done the week before. When they showed up, I was told they needed to scope the line in order to provide an estimate without telling me there would be a charge. AFTER a scope was done, I was told there was a $350 charge! I was then told if I hired them within 24 hours of paying, they would deduct the cost of the scope from the work but I only had 24 hours to make a decision. I called to discuss the issue of not being informed about the charges before they performed the scope. The owner became irate and insisted he told me on the phone there was a charge, he did not, if he had, I would not have had them do an estimate. He proceeded to threaten me with a lien on my property. There are plenty of good plumbers in the area that have great ethics and integrity and are nice - do yourself a favor and call someone else! BTW - Two other companies came, did scopes, and provided estimates with NO CHARGE. read more

Greg Hannah was recommended to me, and as I have been sitting on a non-emergency plumbing issue, I decided to give them a call. I scheduled an appointment about a week and a half out. On the morning of the appointment, I received a call about 30 minutes prior to the appointment time that they would be unable to come to my home that day. This is understandable, as I wasn't experiencing an emergency. I was told that I would receive a call back to reschedule. This call back never happened. About a week later, the water pressure in my home became very weak, so I called Greg Hannah Plumbing to reschedule, letting them know I was experiencing a serious issue now. I was rescheduled for the following morning. The next day, I received a call that the technician was on his way, about 30 to 60 minutes out. He never came. I never received another call from him or the company. When I called a few days later, I asked to leave a complaint, and I was told Greg would return my call to discuss. Instead of the principal of the company calling me, I received a call from the technician that he would be leaving for my house in 10 to 15 minutes. This was about three days after he was supposed to come. I informed him that no one was home, and I was disappointed in how this was handled. He told me, "Well, I thought someone had contacted you to let you know I was no longer coming the other day." I told him that no one had. Long story short - either these guys are too busy to handle the amount of appointments they schedule, or my job was not deemed lucrative or important enough to show up for. Nobody likes to have to call a plumber, but when disaster strikes I highly recommend you call Greg. We had him replace our tankless water heater and he came out within 30 minutes to assess the problem. Simply amazing. He ordered what we needed and quoted us a really fair price. His employees are neat and courteous and he always calls back as promised. We had another separate issue with our shower not delivering any cold water. Sounds nice in theory, until you're standing in scalding water. Greg came out on a Saturday within 30 minutes and spent some time troubleshooting. He didn't try to sell us parts we didn't need but told us what he would order, ordered it, installed it when the parts came in and we're happy and back in business again. I kept trying to figure out what the catch was. There was no catch. They did everything the other guys promised to do at a fraction of the price. The two day job lasted two days. They were on time each day. Did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The price they quoted was the price I paid. They didn't try to add anything on. We've used these guys 4 times over the past 2 years and they are very professional. They always call to let me know when they are on their way. I've always received same day service. They are a bit pricey, but I think the service is worth the price. Recently, I called them because my bathtub faucet wasn't shutting off and they came by to let me know I just had a broken faucet handle. The worker was here about 25 minutes and didn't charge (because it was something I easily could've fixed myself, Doh!). I hired Greg Hanna Plumbing about 2 months ago for a new hot water heater and to redo the mess of plumbing for our laundry tub and the hot/cold hook-ups for the clothes washer. GHP were easy to communicate with and someone answered the phone when I called, the 2 technicians that came out for the install were professional and very knowledgeable, they were offering a good price and were quick to come out and install the new water heater. We are very pleased with everything and would not hesitate to use GHP again for any plumbing needs. UPDATE 12/21: Hired Greg Hannah Plumbing again this time to install a new garbage disposal and to redo the mess of leaky drainage pipes under the kitchen sink.
