I've been going to the location for a year now and have always been taken care of by David, who is amazing and the reason they still at least have 2 stars. I always try to be constructive and positive with my feedback but this last visit will be my last. David wasn't here today so I let another gentleman do his thing. From the very beginning he seemed like he had no interest in cutting my hair. He barely said a word and when he did, he mumbled. There were several times I had to ask what he said. He was incredibly rough on the back of my neck, the only thing I can relate it to is the initial hair cut in boot camp for the Marine Corps. About half way through the apron fell the my lap and he just left it there and continued. When it came to the top of my head, he just cut straight across my bangs and left it at that. He then put some product in it, matted it down and took me to the register. We then spent almost 5 minutes trying to process my card before I had to help him realize he had the wrong side of my card in the chip reader. I paid and then went my way. If a manager or owner is interested in talking or finding out more I'd be happy to talk. Again, I've always loved this place. But this last experience was awful. read more

I walked in and I was immediately greeted and told I would be next. The Shop is supper clean and the guys are down to earth. My Haircut was among the best that I've ever gotten and the conversation is the kind of Barber Shop talk you want. Prices are fair and the technique is baby soft. Razor edges without the alcohol burn at the end let's you know there are some gifted hands. All of that aside, I think the main reason I gave this shop 5 stars is because of the treatment of children. I have been in many shops where Barbers get angry at kids but I saw the owner and another guy not only being patient but playing with the kids to make them more comfortable and smile. That's going the extra mile in my book. Looked on google for reviews near my work because I needed a haircut before a work trip tomorrow. Was tired of getting a 50% quality haircut at great clips or paying $50 for a good haircut at a salon so I took a chance here. Made an appointment with David 2 hours before I needed the cut over lunch. Came in, was immediately greeted and checked in then walked back promptly to my chair. Have David a request for scissor cut only ( I wear my hair a little longer) and told him I wanted it not too short but long enough to not see scalp and he said "no problem"! He went to work and was extremely fast but focused. Long story short best haircut I've had in 5 years with a hot neck shave and massage to boot! I was in and out in 20 minutes with a salon quality cut with a bonus massage. I will definitely be coming back to visit David. If you want an awesome men's haircut for $25 that you can count on, this is the place to go! read more

I am so happy with the haircut my son and I received here. Both of us were very impressed with the barber's skill and care. From meticulously shaping the edges to brushing stray hair off, the barbers were very attentive to every detail. The techniques used to cut our hair were very impressive and my son thought it was his best haircut experience so far. I would recommend this place to everyone. Hardi that's my man. It's amazing place to get a Haircut or Hot Shave. I highly recommend for all your grooming need around here. they did a grate job with my haircut, not only the quality of service, but I was sold when they shaved my neck with the straight razor and a steam towel at the end. I am so glad they opened this high quality Barber Shop. No more need it to try the quick places and a 5 minute cut. my 2 boys loved when they got the hot towel at the end, they still talk about it since then. This is a great barber shop in the traditional American style! With a welcoming atmosphere and great team you are greeted as a friend and you sense the confident professionalism. The barbers all appear to be experienced and highly skilled. I watched another customer walk in with a badly misshapen previous cut. Twenty minutes later he was ecstatic. Yep, he was all smiles. I recently got a haircut and beard trim with Jessa at American Barber Shop. She was fantastic and she and the entire staff were overly cautious with masks and social distancing. Even staff that wasn't cutting hair at the time kept their masks on while waiting for their next appointment.
