I had the work done paid $330 and drove away but the rattle was still loud. They told me they dont know maybe struts but I knew it wasn't. I bought sway bar end links and control arm to have them installed. Another $300 to fix the rattle but of course it was still there. I then took it to Tallmadge Auto/Tire and they told me immediately it was the hub bearings and that Market muffler didn't even tighten the axle nut it was completely off. Mind you Ray the mechanic told me the car was good and ready to drive to south carolina! On top on their incompetence they were rude and dismissive and their mistake could have cost my life or at least catastrophic damage to my vehicle! Never take your car here if you value your life and your money!

The quality of the services they provide and the prices can't be beat. Anytime I bring my car in for a specific issue they fix it. I've never been given the run around or felt like I was being taken advantage of as a female. A lot of mechanics take advantage of women and try to charge us more thinking we don't know any better but this place doesn't do that. I was taking my car to Vandevere and paying 100.00 for an oil change when Ken's charges me 45.00 for the same service. Also it takes them maybe half an hour versus three hours at the dealer. You can't please everyone but this place has way more positive reviews than negative and I definitely recommend taking your vehicle here.

An appointment was made to have it installed and he advised he was in the process of moving his business(s) and was working with a skeleton crew. I called the morning of my appointment to confirm the tank was there and we were still on for the 1pm appointment. I spoke with Logan and he advised everything was there and ready. He called back a short time later to change the appointment to 2pm. I arrived for my appt and the only person there was Logan. I left to have lunch and gave my cell number for any problems. I arrived back at 4pm and Wes was there. The mechanic never showed up. I advised Wes this was unacceptable, the rusted out tank unacceptable and I would not be returning ( drove 45 minutes/40 miles to have work done) I requested that he refund/credit my credit card for the gas tank. Wes seemed upset and had an attitude with me (not my fault his mechanic never showed up). He said considering what happened that he would refund my money. The following week i was unable to reach him via phone and when I texted him if he had submitted the refund he only replied "no". I sent two more texts and no reply received. I have since filed a dispute/claim with my credit card company. Beware...this is not the same Mackey Auto Care in the ad that shows in business since 1925....they at one time were a great business till it was sold in 2018 and obviously the new owner has questionable business practices...red flag when you're asked to pay for a part in advance!
