My fiancés A/c went out and in Santa Clarita it's a necessity to have. I didn't know where to start and was skeptical I was going to be ripped off with high cost. I walked in to reeves and luckily they had a moment to run a diagnostic test. Chris helped me out quick and Mackey took the car immediately to get it tested. He found the issue and explained everything. He kept it real and what to watch out for especially since the car was older. A/c is working like a gem. Next time I'll have to make an appointment. They did that and I guess they don't check out the car because I picked it up for her and then of course the car has sat for the last few weeks since they've done the work. She goes to sell it and the buyer takes it for a test drive and it overheats take it to a mechanic and it has a blown head. If they would have tested the car the poor lady wouldn't have had to pay that money and now they're just junking the car because it's $4,000 she doesn't have. My husband loves them because he believes as I do that they are a dying breed of automotive places that are completely honest! They never pressure you to get work done. The first time I brought my truck here they snapped off the engine mount bolt that they had replaced. Didn't tell me and I had to bring it back. This time they changed my transmission lines and broke off the brackets that held them. Again I had to bring my truck back but instead of fixing what they broke the lines were zip tied. $1500 for new lines and other minor fixes and to fix this they put zip ties when the brackets cost less than $10. I will not bring my truck back. You only get so many chances to make it right. I highly DO NOT recommend this business. read more

I've used Reeves twice in the last couple years. My vehicles don't often need work, thankfully, but when they do I bring them to Reeves. A few years back, I cracked the water pump in Dodge Challenger. I met with the owner who gave me a fast price estimate. The price and time estimate was fair for the work my car needed. The work was started without delay. It was completed within the time estimate and for the quoted price. Mr. Reeves' communication was great and kept me informed during the whole process. At the end of the process, he even checked in with me to make sure the other employees at the shop treated me fairly, honestly, and professionally. My second car issue was a few months back when the air conditioner in my Jeep stopped working. Going into the summer months, I knew I needed to get this fixed asap. Again, they immediately assessed the vehicle and discovered the issue. I was given a fair quote and the problem was fixed within the same day. Great customer service and communication. One of the hardest things in life to find is a good honest mechanic to work on your car or truck. I consider Reeves Complete Auto to be a really good and very honest repair shop. I took my F150 there with a nasty noise coming from the engine. It turned out to be a bad timing chain. Reeves estimated the job with a buffer to include any unforeseen problems. The job was done on time and even with the addition of a turn signal switch was not over the estimate. I just had my A/C serviced and Reeves Complete Auto replaced a vacuum hose for no additional charge. I noticed the A/C wasn't blowing as much from the center vents but I didn't say anything because I know it can be a can of worms doing anything under the dash. Once had my oil change done at Brake Masters (special price) and they did a free brake check. Told me front/back were so bad they didn't feel good letting me drive away and quoted me $450. Took my car to Reeves as I'd rather give them the business and they call me twenty minutes later asking me why I wanted to change out the brakes? I had an issue with a front headlight were it had burnt out and needed the wiring harness replaced since it shorted out. I requested a quote for the item through Yelp and got a pretty prompt reply. We arranged to drop the car off and they offered for a lift via Uber but we had taken care of it. The place is located off Ruether, not too difficult to find but if you blink you might miss the access to turn in. I started to hear a horrible clanking noise coming from my car. As a woman, I always feel incredibly intimidated whenever I have to bring my car in for repair. I got on yelp and started reading reviews. I saw that Reeves Complete Auto Center had excellent reviews, and quite a bit of them were from woman too. I brought my car in and explained the sound I was hearing. They immediately started to look into the problem. In an hour they had diagnosed the noise. They also informed me that my brakes were bad and needed to be replaced (made sense because they had been squeaking for a while). Reeves gave me a quote for all the work that needed to be done. Not knowing anything about car repair I couldn't tell if this quote seemed reasonable or not. I took a chance and agreed to have the work done. They told me my car would be ready by the end of the day. Reeves then called an Uber and paid them to bring me home and said they would have one pick me up to get my car as well. Nice. I was pleasantly surprised by this service. Unfortunately later that day I received a call that a part for my car would not be in till tomorrow. Oh no, I started thinking I needed to get a rental car because I needed to get to and from work. However Reeves was already on top of it and said they worked with Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, and had already set up a rental car ON THEM. Whaattttt! I could not believe it. Reeves was paying for my rental. They said that since they told me the work would be done that day and it wasn't, they would pay for me to have a rental. What awesome customer service. They were also sending an Uber to pick me up from my house to get my rental from Enterprise. Just wow. It's been a few weeks now (I waited to write the review) and my car has been sounding perfect. This is the absolute worst auto shop I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I paid them to do a complete pre-purchase inspection on a truck that I was looking at and was told that the truck was an absolute diamond In 10/10 condition. It was important to me that this inspection was thorough because I was coming from over 2 hours away to buy this truck and was trusting their judgement. I was not going to waste a whole day going out there if the truck was not in great condition so I followed up the report with a phone call to the shop and was assured this truck had no issues. When I got out to Santa Clarita the next day, I drove it and immediately heard a clunk At every stop. It also had all kinds of shotty body work done that was extremely obvious. It was a complete piece of junk. The truck had all kinds of issues that were very clear and evident within seconds. I took it to the shop to ask them to take a further look at the issues that I noticed and they refused to even come take a look at it after they took my money the day before. They admitted they never even drove the truck. If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is the absolute worst service I've ever received from any company. This is also the first time I've ever left a review on anything because I'm not one of those people but I feel so strongly about this and want to prevent others from trusting this shop. Moral of the story, these guys cannot be trusted with any vehicle. I would absolutely recommend anyone else but their shop. read more

These guys are just amazing. I just moved into this area and needed a good mechanic to diagnose and address some emissions codes on my 2010 Prius. The problem was complicated because the car was actually running fine. The only clue I had that something was wrong was the fact that it threw two codes and failed smog. The crew at Reeves was able to get to the root of the problem, replaced some worn parts in the emissions system, and get me passed. As a bonus, I noticed an increase in fuel mileage of about 5 mpg. I'm now getting about 50mpg. As for how it was handled, these guys are consummate professionals. The entire experience was comfortable and pleasant. To make it even better, they charged me about half of what the Toyota dealership would have charged me. I explained my problem and he assured me that they would have it looked at and that the job would be done in a timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to get me a Lyft back home free of cost for me. I didn't expect them to do that, most places don't have that much hostility. I dropped off my car around 9am, they send you text messages to update you on the inspection, the overall health of your car, the name of the auto technician and everything! My car is HOME! I will start my review by saying that this place is CLEAN! You would think that an auto repair place would be greasy grimy and dirty....this place looks like a Doctor's office but for cars! My daughter and I brought the Toyota in because the check engine light and the tire light came on...she had been here before and said that they were "nice" ! I replied "I will be the judge of that!" The verdict is in! THEY ARE REALLY REALLY NICE! Super professional and just pleasent! I was greeted by being called " Young lady" THAT ALONE is enough for me! Definitely would not recommend this guy. Former military, I can deal with abrasive personalities and not take anything personal. This man lauded his accomplishments the first time I met him. The waiting room is adorned with volunteer work from years past. Two steps in and you are greeted with a litany of participation, donation, and 'thanks for attending' level awards. Whatever, he's probably a good mechanic right? This man and his crew misdiagnosed my car 3 times, each coming up with a different result. I went in because the SRS light was sending an error code (I'd replace it myself, but I have no electrical experience and have a fear of mangling the safety restraint system that could one day save my wife's life). The first round consisted of them installing a broken seatbelt assembly (that they salvaged), charging us, and sending my pregnant wife two blocks down into another parking lot within the industrial center to pick up her car. She drove the car home only to find that the light remained on, the seatbelt wouldnt tense up, and the power windows wouldn't work. On top of that, none of the body paneling was secured and dry grease prints were on the headliner. I took the car back the next day and they readmitted her car. Overall, if took him and his crew three weeks to figure out that the seatbelt assembly needed to be taken care of and that they couldn't use a salvaged one. Each time I called him for an update, he hemmed and hawed about how he was comping me on this and that. 500 dollars in and we ended up worse off than we started.
