A few years ago, I hired Stanley Steamer to clean our carpeting. Those kids wanted to charge extra for everything, and rushed through the job. I was not happy. Years before that, Stanley Steamer did a good job for me. Because of the inconsistent service I looked elsewhere in the phone book. Ben Gafour and a helper from Referral Carpet Care came over yesterday. I think he's been doing this for 20 years. They used hand brushes to clean up the dirty edges of the stairs, pre-treated the many stains, used a metal rake to fluff up the carpet, used a big machine with a set of rotating brushes to deep-clean the carpet fibers, then used the regular steam cleaning wand with suction to go over it all again. A very thorough job. The carpet looks very clean, even in the high traffic area next to the kitchen. I'm happy to recommend him. read more

Fantastic Job! I have 2 teenagers, a dog and have allot of traffic due to a huge family. I had my carpet cleaned 6 months ago by another random company and they did an awfull job. All the stains came back, pet odor was strong and I noticed some corners of the rooms were skipped. To my surprise I came to Yelp seen Ben's reviews and so glad I did. I love my carpets! Today I had Ben from Referral Carpet Care came out to my house to clean the white carpet in my master bedroom. It had been stained over the years with a variety of things ranging from grape juice to dog urine. Although I didn't have high expectations I hoped to make it less offensive to look at for the time being. Although I wanted 2 rooms deep cleaned (one had been vomited on a few times due to a sick kid), he suggested that only one of them needed it.
