I reached out to Chuck to get a quote for cleaning two fabric couches. He responded promptly with a reasonable quote. He came out a few days later to perform the cleaning. The couches had not been cleaned since we bought them 13 years ago. And one had a water stain on the armrest. He said he couldn't guarantee getting the stain out. He did a wonderful and thorough job cleaning both couches. It took around 3 hours, and he was able to get the stain out. The couches needed to dry overnight. He was super knowledgeable about our carpet in particular - we'd moved in with the existing carpet and had know prior historical knowledge about it. He pinned it down to 1990s style apartment carpet (Olefin), so it's easier to clean but always looks a little flat and lackluster. After he finished he spent quite some time telling us about his political views and personal beliefs. He was VERY strange. If I we would have known we would not have chosen this company. I have a screened back porch where the kitties spend much of their time. It was so bad you couldn't see the green indoor outdoor carpeting. And other carpet cleaners refused to do it because "they might have to change filters." WAaaghhh... Well, Chuck isn't afraid to use plenty hot steam and do the job right. After calling at least a dozen carpet cleaners for estimates, Chuck won us over when he told me (having no guarantee he'd be getting the job) that he was in the area and going to stop over to assess the situation and make sure it was a do-able job in the first place. Chuck was very thorough! We had a problem with cat urine on our couches and he worked very hard to get them out. He wasn't positive if the smell would go away, but he told us to be patient and let things dry and the chemicals work - so we did and it worked. It wasn't a quick fix, but it saved us a lot of money as well as our favorite couch. While he was doing the couches we also had him do the carpets. He got out stains that Stanly Steamer said they couldn't get out when we first moved in, plus he some of our own wear-and-tear from the past few years. He quoted over the phone, but after I had moved all the furniture out of 4 bedrooms (plus hallway) I could see what a dreadful state the very light colored carpets (not my choice) were in. This guy is really good. I'm usually skeptical when someone has an all 5 star review throughout :), but this guy deserves it. Chuck spend a good 4 hours cleaning the carpets. Looks like the owner had not cleaned the carpet when we rented the house. So 'original' stains that we thought were un-removable and which the owner 'may' have cleaned before were now GONE. Some of the carpets in the home were filthy .. seriously filthy and now it looks nearly new. Maybe the carpets being nylon may definitely have helped, but Chuck put in a lot of effort to ensure that he had put in a 100% effort to pull out every stain. read more
