He drew me a quick sketch, that I wish I had paid more attention to, or brought someone with me for the consultation. After he talked about my nose he said that I should consider a chin implant as well, to make my face look more preportioned. I was really taken back by that. Post op, I noticed a gouge, about a 1 cm indentation, at the very top of my nose, so I asked him about it, and he was very dismissive. He was talking with his medical student, like they had no idea what I was talking about. It took me about 5 years before I could put any type of weight over the bridge of my nose, so I had to buy new glasses. Fortunately, I found a pair with a very light Titanium frame. I would not recommend Dr. Younger. He has a very poor bedside manner, and his skill as a surgeon is questionable. Either that or he let a medical student work on me, without proper guidance, and maybe the medical student slipped. Either way, he did not examine my nose, he just sat behind his desk; and he wasn't honest about it.

After the consultation, the assistant brought me into her office and gave me a date. She said I should book it right away and that the cost would be $14000 - half of which had to be paid right then and the remainder at 3 weeks before surgery. I said I would think it over. When I called back the next day, I was quite smugly told that I could not have that date, as I had not booked it right away and someone else did. I had a face lift, eye lift and chin liposuction in Nov., 2013. For some reason, Dr Carr did not follow the line of my right eye, so now I have a scar that is parallel to my eye brow, which is easily seen. The face lift was a complete waste of money. Even now, I have a lot of numbness on both sides of my face and still have lots of signs of aging. As a matter of fact, I think I look older after the surgery. The chin liposuction was good; really took away the double chin. However, that area of chin is completely numb, even after doing the stroke exercises ad nauseam! Also note that, after the surgery, there is a lot of work involved for the recipient. I had to stroke my face an endless number of times a day, wrap my head in stretch bandages for a while, use special face cleansers (which they charge you $60 for), had to partially sit up to sleep, etc. It is no walk in the park! I had a couple of regular appointments after that with a nurse. Had one follow-up with Dr. Carr. After that, I became quite ill and was hospitalized for 15 days. My husband called them to cancel an appointment I couldn't keep. That was the last I heard of them! They never called me back for more follow up! I think that there is no need to go to this doctor for any work. He is way too expensive and not in any way superior to other cosmetic surgery work I have seen in others. My friend had upper and lower eyelid surgery done by a doctor on Broadway (don't remember his name but can get it) and she looks great! Her doctor did not cut outside of the shape of her eye, so she has no scar coming straight out over her eye. I was not satisfied with the quality of the work or of the way I was treated. In my opinion, you are pressured to sign up. Also, please remember, once you pay your money, they will not refund it if you do not want to go ahead with the surgery. About the only way you will get your money back is if you have a letter from god or a letter from a specialist saying the surgery would be too dangerous for your health.

A staff led me to Dr. Buonassisi's office and upon entering, the doctor called me by my first name and was very polite in his greetings. Once we sat down he asked me about my concerns. He listened and then gave me my options. He also showed me pictures of one of his client who has the same issue as me. He mentioned the changes after the procedures were done were not as dramatic as he wanted them to be. He also showed me a 3D image of how I would look like if I go with the procedures. In his opinion I do not need the procedures I want. I appreciated his honest. If this is some other doctor he will immediately ask to schedule the procedures so he can have my money. But not Dr. Buonassisi. He offered another solution to my issues and is giving me 20% off when booked within 2 days after my consult. I think it's an amazing deal. I will be saving money and getting better results. Will I recommend Dr. Buonassisi to my friends and family? Absolutely!

I heard of him through two of my coworkers who had already been operated by him for a breast augmentation, loved the results and had the urge to book a consultation. The staff were friendly, professional and accomodating from the get-go. Phone calls and emails were answered quickly. Dr. Gelfant was on time for both my consultation and post-op appointment. He answered all of my questions and concerns and proportioned my breast implants to fit my frame perfectly. He specializes in scar tissue and the scars under my armpits are barely noticeable after a year and a half post-op! I could not be any happier with my results and the experience I had with Dr. Gelfant and his staff. I recommend him to anyone wanting a breast augmentation!

The staff immediately returns calls and answers all questions, and they are and have always been so wonderful as well. I am a bit of a psycho perfectionist and while we shouldn't search for symmetry in humans, I couldn't help but notice in all his before and after pics he has an insane eye for symmetry. It sounds silly but they would rather start slowly and see how things progress than take your money. It is crazy to me how honest the entire staff is. That in and of itself makes them gems in this world! All the dermatologists have a gift for aesthetics and bedside manner as well as a magical surgeon's touch.

I had some issues the referring clinic because they took their sweet time sending the referral and ultimately it took me several phone calls to get it completed. But at this time I called Dr Kibblewhite's office to ask for my appointment date and I was told she will get back to me but know that it will be sometime in October. So I just forgot about it and figured my part was done. I had already jumped through hoops to get this appointment scheduled. I forget about it until late August and decide to call Dr Kibblewhite's office and check when exactly my appointment is as I never got an exact date confirmation. She tells me she never got the referral!!!!! She also slips in-- oh what is the appointment for? I tell her my issue and she says Dr Kibblewhite does not deal with that issue. I kinda ignore her at this point because it has already been 3 full months of waiting for my appointment and I'm determined to get in and ask my questions! So many phone calls and much stress later I am told that I will not be getting my appointment with Dr Kibblewhite because they only deal with a very specialised subject and not what I need to see the doctor for. I'm so glad that Dr Kibblewhite's office did not take the time to ask me what my issue was way back in early June so that I could waste 3 months of my life waiting on this appointment. Also she was rude (and I was extra nice because I wanted my appointment even though I wanted to scream). Since I've started going to SKN I've had a few different facials and have made the gradual switch to using most of their facial products line. The facials immediately made my skin feel so much better, moisturized and smooth. I enjoy the calming and peacefulness of the treatment rooms and the professionalism of the staff. I'm sure they're all great but Danielle is my favourite; so knowledgeable, professional, kind and really listens to try and figure out what is best for you. She was able to diagnose and start treating the part of my facial skin I disliked the most right away (melasma discolored skin due to sun/hormones). I am genuinely happy with my skin now. The goal in my mind when I went there was to eventually feel comfortable going without makeup on any given day - mission accomplished! It's no longer something I think about besides when I'm using my products and feeling thankful for them and the hard work they do. I should note one of the things that impressed me the most about SKN was the lack of pressure to buy products. During facials they inquire as to what you use on your skin and appear to try to work with what you've got but suggest a few small changes. I also left my first facial with several samples, which was very helpful as I could see if it was a routine that worked for me (it totally did, very easy). I've also tried their laser hair removal and highly recommend it, minimally painful and again, professional and thorough. Given the quality of the technicians, space, products, service and overall experience I find that their prices are reasonable. They also have an online product store now (pick up or have it delivered) and they seem to have monthly specials on products and services.
