The person who had scheduled the meeting was not there and those there were not clear as to why I was going to be there. Full disclosure, I'm not the next of kin…read more Death is one of the hardest emotions, most stressfully moment of an individuals life. When my loved one died they were very nice initially. However, through the process there were moments where they were missing a sensitivity chip. I tried to put myself in their shoes. I understand they do this every day but the remaining loved ones don't. I had never had to go this process before. I can tell you that my heart was breaking and I had to bow down numerous times to obtain guidance and information. It was cold at times. I don't fault them for the family drama that ensued after, but I guess I assumed incorrectly that I would be treated a little more kindly. In the end I was put in my place very coldly, but I had already paid so not much to lose for them, I guess. I scored a 3 stars because Catherine went above and beyond to help me and was very patient with me. Thank you.

The gentleman to came was inconspicuous, very friendly and respectful, taking care to make sure she was handled gently and reverently. Grace was wonderful and always ready to help with anything I might need. All of the staff I worked with, including the wonderful receptionist, were kind and treated me like family. The urn was beautiful and well-made. They have also called me periodically to check on me handling my grief. I love these folks!

She arrived at 2:02 pm and the person running the seminar turned up her nose at my mom and rudely told her, "We don't accept late arrivals! You're late!" loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear, therefore embarrasing my mother and her friend. Also to note, my mother and her friend were the only Black women at the seminar and probably at the restaurant, period. The woman was so rude that even the restaurant staff had to apologize to my mom and her friend. I'd venture a bet to say that if my mom and her friend were two White -- or even Hispanic -- ladies, that woman's demeanor would have been a lot different.

Nearly 3 months later and we have yet to receive the money owed us. I have reached out to the funeral director several times and he assures me that he has reached out to billing to process the refund. Yet, nothing. I don't recommend using French as you cannot trust them with the financial end of your funeral.

No security, no one seemed to care...looked like he was trying to sell something- maybe flowers he had taken off the graves! This is a travesty to all who have their loved ones buried here...Next door- SunSet Memorial is in pristine shape...why the Catholics cannot figure out landscape maintenance, and basic security is beyond my comprehension, and completely unacceptable to the families whose love ones are buried there.
