My family had been coming to reflections dentistry for the past couple of years. I personally always have a great experience when I finally make it out to the dentist. The hygienist I have every time is amazing. They were able to get me in the same day as my cleaning to do a filling fix that had chipped. Which was wonderful since I am currently living in San Diego and my family lives in NorCal. I still come to this dentist on my breaks! Dr. Steven Yoshida is great, and he is a wonderful and kind person. I went to his dental office as a teenager in Orangevale, and followed him to their Granite Bay office when they expanded. My review is for one of the receptionists. I believe this was Shelly. In my 20's I worked multiple part time jobs and struggled with money, but due to Obama care I was still on my parents insurance. The only thing my parents helped me financially with was covering my copays for dental work during this time. The receptionists used to just bill my mom and she'd pay that way. On my last visit at reflections, I had a normal clean and was under the expectation that the copay would be billed like it had been the last ten years. When I went to checkout, the receptionist told me they aren't doing that anymore, and I'm a grown adult and should be able to pay my own bills. I was humiliated. The money I had in my account was for rent. I paid, embarrassed, then sat in the car and cried wondering how I'd pay rent and late fees. I couldn't believe a professional would make this comment to me. I never went back and didn't go to the dentist again for years. That woman should've been fired. read more

We have been coming to Reflections Family Dentistry for a few years. They are great. Almost always on time, very accommodating and always give the high end consistent service I look for. I bring all my children here and they are wonderful with them. This past weekend, my 6 year old cracked a molar and we had it filled within the hour of it happening on a weekend evening during the holidays. It required a little more work than Dr. Tsuchida could do solo, but he stopped a majority of the pain and potential complications and got us in early Monday when his staff was available to help and polished off the tooth to make it perfect. My insurance isn't one they accept. I still come and just pay upfront, they always submit my claim for me so I just have to cash my reimbursement check when it arrives. read more

All my life I was deathly afraid of going to the dentist! I didn't like the smell and all the noises made me tremble! I only went when I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE!! They would knock me out and pull my tooth and I would never see them again until the next time!! I was terrified. Now being 67 and retired I decided it was time to take a chance. So I prayed and did lots of research. When I came across Reflection family dentistry. I read all reviews and gave them a call When I spoke to Ivanna she could hear in my voice how very nervous I was she reassured me I would be taken GOOD CARE OF to not be afraid and I felt a huge relief. When I arrived I did sit in my car a moment not sure if I should go in or not!!! BUT IM SO GLAD I DID!! I was greeted by WONDERFUL STAFF and taken back by a very cheerful assistant. She helped relax me by explaining what she was doing to me. Taking her time in such a caring manner she had the X-rays complete Dr Steven Yoshida came in and sat done beside me. Giving me all his CALMING ENERGY and REASSURANCE that I was doing great!! Slowly I could feel my anxiety and fear leave me to be replaced by confidence that I had DEFINITELY MADE THE RIGHT DECISION!!! She is knowledgeable and detected a problem that, if not corrected, would have led to major expensive problems. Stephanie is a delight and explains everything as your procedure progresses. Outstanding Dentist We followed Dr. Tsuschida from his small location where he started up to his new location. There are a lot of reasons we go including the fact we have never waited more than 2 minutes in the waiting or the chair for that matter, the time and care of the hygienists and dentist and the fact that I get honest opinions where other dentists have pushed work on me. Dr Tsuchida has been taking care of myself and my family very professionally and affordably for many years now and even though they moved to Roseville I have no problem with the extra drive as once you find a Dentist you trust it's worth it. He is one of the best dentist around if not the best. Dr Tsuchida has even taken Sunday calls when I have had an emergency. He gave my wife a smile that is picture perfect and she would never smile as she was overly conscious about her teeth, now she won't stop smiling.
