I went in last week after they reopened! Sharon was my stylist/colorist.... let me tell you... I have been to many salons in my lifetime! She was fabulous. My hair was "box dyed" (thanks COVID-19) almost black. She spent 3 1/2 hrs making sure I left with exactly what I wanted. Normally I'd be a bit concerned it took so long but she wouldn't allow me to leave NOT satisfied! And I am 100% OK with that. She genuinely took her time and made sure I was happy. Now, the kicker.... never in my life have I gotten my hair colored and gotten the reaction I did than when I went home (boyfriend was WOWed) or to work. My co workers were floored!! So first of all the place is beautiful. Clean and welcoming inside. All the ladies that worked there that I talked to were super nice and friendly. I went in recently to have my hair cut and dyed. I have also only had two hairdressers previously, so I should have done this in two visits to be sure they knew what they were doing. I did it all in one trip because it was purchased as a gift for me. I called and made an appointment at the beginning of the week for the weekend. Now I feel bad saying this because she was very, very nice and tried to be accommodating, but I will just tell you what happened. My stylist Becky was late, like 30 mins late. I offered to leave and come back later as I am still a nursing mom, but they said she would just be a few minutes. Then she arrived super apologetic and friendly. Instantly she wanted to dye my hair lighter color just as most do and naturally I wanted to go dark. I was talking about my previous experiences and she said oh lets try that ..... I was thinking yikes. It took two colorings to get my hair in the right shade. I am not in love with the color, but is very close to what I asked for. The last confusing thing was the pricing. Now I guess every stylist charges their own price, but when my boyfriend went in he was told X amount of dollars would cover cut and color. I was quoted a different price and then they said they would accommodate me anyhow. While sitting getting my hair done there was a sign with a special for all over color. Now it was all starting to click how he was told he had given enough money for everything to get done. All in all I think that I will go back for another service. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was super friendly. I believe that my experience was isolated. read more

I didn't have my hair done here. Let's just start with that. I made an appointment, I showed up. I sat for literally 10 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging me. Not a glance, not a "hey, I'll be with you in a bit", not a "welcome!". Nada. The other thing that put me off, is there was a lady who worked there who used to work at the hair cutting place in parkway plaza who did my daughter's hair once (and never again). Was rude and cut my daughter's hair unevenly (which I had to touch up when I got home). Delightful.. She has long black hair--and I am very sorry to say that I don't recall her name. I was hopeful of this place because it's local.. and I really wanted to support a business so close by. :( Maybe they'll improve their customer service and hire someone to sit at the front to greet customers. I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience at this salon! I have a wedding coming up this weekend and I called to see if I could get an appointment beforehand. I spoke to Ginger on the phone who was beyond accommodating and Rebecca made time in her schedule to do my hair, I am so grateful!! The atmosphere in the shop was so nice and positive. Rebecca was AMAZING. She really listened to what I was looking for and offered great advice. She did such a beautiful job and I am so thankful that they were able to get me in for an appointment. Diana does great hair, she's been doing myself and my 3 girls for a few years now.... She's the only person I trust to touch my head :) She has great prices too ! I always get exactly what I want. I did have another girl there do my cut and color when Diana was on maternity leave and she was awesome too.I have also been told by many of my friends that go there too, that they love their stylists as well. Disorganized!! I made a phone appointment for my first visit only to show up and find my stylist had taken the day off. To their credit, i was worked in and got a great cut. However, i had a lengthy wait. They could have just called me and rescheduled if the stylist wasn't going to be there. Since I was happy with my cut, I scheduled again for two months out. My appointment was written down, and I was given a card with the date and time. My second appointment was officially on the books! So, i show up on time on the appointed day. After waiting ten minutes i was acknowledged by my stylist. At least she knew i was there. She had just started on another client, but i thought maybe the client had arrived late. After another ten minutes, I'm asked who I'm there to see. " You", I replied. "Oh, do I have you written down?" Honestly was taken aback by that question, but yes, I saw her write it down eight weeks before! I left, promising I would reschedule. I had no desire to work my way into an appointment scheduled two months in advance. If you know one of the stylists, or are willing to wait, or better yet, willing to call the shop and remind THEM of your upcoming appointment, I say go. I got a great haircut there, but I won't be back. I know they won't miss me - they certainly never expected me. read more

Literally the most unprofessional salon I have EVER been to. I took my 9 year old daughter in for a trim. I asked for about 1/4 of an inch to be taken off. There were only two ladies working and both were with people so we agreed to wait. Well, when a lady finally was free so told my daughter to sit down. She was very unfriendly and never introduced herself. I only know her name (which is Sharon Stone, by the way) because she took a 15 minute phone call (a call I seriously did not need to hear) with her doctors office while she was cutting my child's hair. When she said said she was finished, I pointed out that the back was way longer than the front. She agreed she goofed and she started cutting again. I had to ask her to thin it out so my daughter didn't look like a mushroom. An hour later, my daughters hair is over an inch shorter, which wouldn't see like a lot except her hair was already to her shoulder. I was infuriated and told this woman to just leave it alone before she did more damage. I paid her the $25 she charged me and left. I certainly will not be back to this joke of a salon. Which is unfortunate because I am all about supporting local businesses. read more

She keeps up with the latest techniques and, of course, she knows what looks good on everyone. You can't go wrong at reflections. All of the stylists are very good There's also an excellent aesthetician who does awesome lashes in addition to all the facials and stuff they do. Cute shop on a cute street. I go to Reflections to see Wendy for my pedicures. She is so thorough and does a great job. She is amazing with a tiny brush if you want any kind of design on your nails. For me, she has painted suns and moons, daisies and sunflowers, paisley designs to match the skirt I'm wearing, and many other things.
