I had been looking forward to going to this place for their Sunday brunch event while I was in town for my bachelorette weekend. I had seen it advertised and it looked like fun. I called the day before to make sure it was still happening and the time it started to plan for my day and my bridesmaids. They said it started at 11am and it was brunch with a DJ playing western/country music this time. We all arrived at 11am and the main restaurant was empty, a security guard at the door welcomed us and said to sit anywhere. I asked if that was the brunch event area and he said no and sent us down the hallway. A woman greeted us and asked us to wait in the hallway because they were still setting up, we waited close to 20 minutes and they finally came and said they were ready. They asked for our tickets which I was not aware we needed tickets. I told her the person who I spoke with the night before did not mention tickets when I asked for details. She had us wait longer so she could go speak with someone. After awhile she came back and said we could have a wrist bracelet to go in since they had us wait a long time already. We finally sat down, we were the only ones there. The waiter was standing around by the bar looking at us but wouldn't approach the table so I called him and asked for the menu. They brought the "brunch" menu and it was a very small flyer with a couple appetizers one entree and a dessert, no brunch items at all. I was very disappointed and upset we wasted so much time there. Fantastic brunch menu, shout out to the waffles! The queens worked hard for the money and the crowd obliged! A good time was had by all. November 2025: Epiphany Kali kills as hostess! Strange birria-only menu. Tasty but not what anyone wanted. Well-known queens giving moderate effort. Crowd giving moderate effort. I felt badly hyping it up to my Nov group after such a different June experience. Themes and performers may change, but the quality of experience should be consistent. read more

They earn two stars solely for hosting drag performances. The Queens kill it every show. In every other aspect, Reforma has noticeably declined in quality. Our party was seated ahead of our reservation at 12:40 for the 1:00 pm drag show. However, our order was not taken until moments before the show began, and only after a floor manager noticed that we were the last table sitting with menus and no drinks. She directed our server to our table, and rather than offering an apology for the delay, he explained that he does not speak English very well. (While that may be true, it did not clarify why our table was overlooked, particularly since he had communicated with us without any apparent difficulty.) Our initial drinks were not prepared and delivered until after the show had started. The beverage quality was good; there is no deficiency in that area. The lunch menu is uninspired and offers no nutritious alternatives--specifically, it is not a diet-conscious selection, which is particularly disappointing for a Palm Springs restaurant. The options are repetitive:Birria Ramen, birria sliders with cheese-smothered fries, a birria tamale, birria flautas, and a birria plate, all accompanied by rice and beans. There is no salad, no lean protein choice, no vegetarian option, and no possibility of substituting the sides. I would not recommend coming here for a midday meal. Our food was delivered when the show was nearly over. I had ordered the birria plate. To begin with, it was cold, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for twenty minutes. Furthermore, the menu stated the plate included tortillas, which we were never provided. I thought the entire point of offering 1 meat to put in every plate on the menu was to ensure its easy to produce and doesnt get sent out cold. If your goal is to watch excellent drag shows while simultaneously being neglected by the FOH staff, deal with a kitchen staff who treat your food like an assembly line component, and you also like to be forced to eat birria and carbs with no healthier alternatives, then Reforma is the perfect place for you. read more

My friends and I came into Palm Springs for pride expecting a fantastic time. We rented an Airbnb and had a pool party... We were planning to go to an exciting Drag Brunch on Saturday at Reforma. It was $30 per ticket to go to drag brunch at Reforma. It started approximately about 10:30 AM. When we arrived, it was a large dance hall/types venue, with tables in rows up and down the dance floor.. When we sat down we were surprised to find out they only served Mexican dinner food first thing in the morning. They had no coffee, no orange juice, not a single egg on the menu anywhere. The Mexican food items were all over $25 a plate and nobody wanted fried birria and consomé first thing in the morning. The flyer said brunch. We wanted brunch. Alas, we were reaching to the stars with our expectations. The drag performers spent all the time on the other side of the room, which we couldn't even see because there was no stage, and frankly, the show was lackluster. The drag queens improvised all their routines without any actual choreography, and just did a bunch of kicking and hair twirling to every song. They did all the the same things every drag queen does, when there was plenty of room to actually perform a cohesive dance routine. They put all their effort into their outfits and appearance, and then just farted out a bunch of standard drag queen moves like they would any Friday night at a local stand-around bar. The food was overpriced, the service was absolutely horrendous because we didn't even get our order taken for food until 1130, and by then we only ordered a plate of quesadillas for the whole table because we had to have calories. They didn't put drink prices anywhere on the menu, so two cocktails ended up being almost $56. Worst drag brunch I've ever been to. The "drag" was barely there, and no one in their right mind would have defined anything on the menu as brunch. Avoid this place the next time they decide to throw an event like this. It was awful and I wish we hadn't spent our money. We would've had more fun going to Starbucks and just people watching. read more

We have tried so hard to support this place as locals that go out every weekend. We have ubered there on a few different occasions only to be TOTALLY let down. Their advertisement says there will be this or that and then you spend money to get there and it is NOT what they advertise so you have to then call another car to take you somewhere else. Tonight was our last straw. We get the ad that they are doing "Top 40 Hits" tonight. Perfect... we are in our 40s and looking for an alternative to going to Arenas every night. Over and over again, we are let down when we come here. Whoever is managing this place blows. Don't waste your time. They need to REALLY invest in getting the locals back out by spending some money to target the PS demographic and having a REopening night. BUT... only after they can get their shizz together and have an actual GOOD dj with good remixes and then 'wine and dine' us locals a couple of weekends in a row so that we regain your trust and WANT to bring our business and friends here again. If you are reading this, look at the other one star reviews. Look at my pics on this review (from 10:30pm tonight). The two ads are what was SUPPOSED to happen tonight and the video is what ACTUALLY happened tonight. This is our third experience exactly like this. Cry wolf too many times, we are done. Beautiful mural greets you upon entry. The hostess was so friendly in promptly greeter us with smiles and kindness. Our waitress was very quick to our table To tell us more about the specials and delicious cocktails. I ordered the Hierbabuena a delicious drink. Others went with the amazing selection or tequila based drinks. The list of cocktail offerings is fantastic. See attached pictures for a complete listing of what was current on that day. We decided to go with the tapas and quickly zeroed in on what was delicious to share with each other. The beer steamed mussels sure hit the spot. The Manchego salad was a delicious and light offering that was so very creative. A honey lemon vinaigrette with apple,Manchego, pepitas and seasonal greens. The Brussels Frita was so very tasty. With salsa verde, agave, charred lemon and cortina cheese. The chef has put together and exceptional menu with lots of creative and completely tasty offerings. This newer business is exceptionally customer focused. There's dance area in the rear for when they add in the full nightclub experience. I'm not local to the are but I can't wait to get back. Entertainment was amazing ! BUT We opted for the bottomless mimosas, and I understand that it's a popular option, but what I didn't expect was for the waitress FATIMA to cut us off after only one bottle of champagne for two people. We were surprised when she came over, not to check if we wanted another round, but to inform us that our "bottomless" option had been exhausted. It seemed completely arbitrary and unfair. For a restaurant promoting bottomless mimosas, one bottle for two people is absolutely not enough, especially when we weren't even close to being finished with our drinks. It felt like the restaurant was more concerned with limiting alcohol than ensuring a good dining experience. In the end, it was a real letdown, and we won't be coming back. If you're looking for a true bottomless mimosa experience, I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Take the leap, it's worth it! We wandered in after debating the hard to read vibe we got from the outside. It was super empty around 5 pm, sat at the bar. LIGHTS OUT service. On June 12, 2025, my boyfriend called me to Reforma nightclub during the Ohgeezy concert after security aggressively snatched his Mexican flag, placed him in a chokehold, and forcibly removed him--without any warning or cause. The performer even asked over the mic for security to leave him alone, but the situation escalated. Police refused to help and threatened to arrest him, but left after he asserted his First Amendment rights while standing on public property and asked about body cameras. All he wanted was assistsnce and a refund, but no one helped. When I arrived, he was clearly upset and in physical pain due to being dragged out. I also noticed some inconsistencies with how other situations were handled. I noticed on woman on the front steps who appeared to be unconscious with scraped knees & unattended by staff. I myself had to perform a sternal rub to get a response to ensure she could at least open her eyes, prior to no EMS was called. Another female and her boyfriend were let back in the venue after she got into a fight outside and physically pulled away by secritiy. Also in full view of the front door there were 2 heavily intoxicated females allowed to stay & as they continued to dance while spilling their drinks, barely being able to stand on their own and unknowingly due to intoxication exposing themselves for everyone to see. My boyfriend was also verbally antagonized by one of the security guards asking him if he was hurt as a child or why he was so angry, which was unnecessary & unprofessional. Others who attended the concert confirmed that my boyfriend did nothing wrong and he was never warned despite alleged complaints. Someone even had a view from a higher angle with a full view of the floor stated that he did nothing wrong. I do understand tempers flare in situations, but all he wanted was to be heard and helped with getting some information. Overall, Reforma's security is aggressive and unaccountable. read more

There's multiple people coming around checking on you and refilling your water glasses and picking up the dirty dishes. We got some many things and they were all delicious! WOW! WOW! WOW! This may be one of the most interesting meals I have had in Palm Springs in a long time. The menu, although thoughtfully small is complete with delicious latin options. I have been 3 times and every time I was completely impressed with the food. First time had manchego salad and seafood risotto. Superb. The salad was quite large. The next time we did some shared small plates of elote corn and mussels and appetizer. So much flavor!! And Lomo Saltado for dinner. One of the best I have ever had! The meat was so tender, truly complex flavors. We also went once for a drag / dinner show. The food was amazing for that special menu as well. The drag show was honestly not our favorite. It felt more like a full on money grab event than an actual show. The show began with the hostess schooling us on how to tip, then proceeded to walk around and make us give her money "to make sure we were doing it right", then the 'performers' literally walked around grabbing money from the patrons, barely even lip-syncing to what ever song was playing. It was honestly quite a disappointment as far as entertainment goes. But we definitely enjoyed the food that was served before the show. Now we know! I use to love coming out to reforma and honestly enjoyed the music on countless nights. However, after witnessing multiple incidents and experiencing an incident myself I am done with reforma. The staff here needs serious training on de-escalating situations. If food service workers have protocols on how to deal with drunk people then a place that constantly over serves people should too. Saturday night our group was accused of harassing a bottle service girl. Not once did we interact with the group of girls. Our group was accused but they made sure to single out a specific girl from our group. Karla and Erik claim to be "owners" came up & told us we had been pointing and laughing at their girls. Didn't even ask us to see if it was true, just straight up accused us and proceeded to kick us out when we were confused. So we walked away & started to make our way out of the dance floor as they continued to yell at us, reiterating the fact we needed to leave, in which I finally exchanged a few words. We still continued to exit but I had left my phone with someone up front so my group made our way to get it while their staff continued to follow us while yelling. Even up to the point where we were walking down the stairs Erick continued to yell at us saying we weren't allowed back and that we were 86'd. Karla claimed we had been harassing them for hours and that they have us on camera but we didn't even spend an hour inside of their establishment. Our group had just spent time inside of their sister club chill bar with no problems at all but suddenly we're an issue after not even spending an hour at reforma. Their staff claims they have HOURS of footage of us harassing their bottle service girl and I would love to see it. We were having a good time and had just started dancing again after taking shots. The music had us singing our lungs out and we were laughing as one does when having fun. Im not sure if this was where the whole miscommunication happened... but the way their staff didn't even asses the situation at hand first & continued to accuse us even when we expressed confusion & proceeded to tell us we had to leave right from the start was disappointing. This issue was personal on so many levels in which will not be discussed here but one thing is for sure one girl in our group was specifically targeted. If their bottle service girls can't keep their personal problems outside of the workplace then maybe this isn't the job for them (coming from someone in the industry who deals with these things as well). Im all for businesses doing their part for keeping their employees safe but we complied the first time they mentioned we had to leave. The way in which we were escorted out by a whole crowed of employees was degrading. The whole situation should've been handled differently but it's clear that the minute there is conflict these owners go on full power trip mode. If this place is really lgbtq owned then you would think they would do a better job of ensuring that not only is their staff safe but so are their customers. You don't get hot headed with costumers and accuse them right off the bat, do better. If this place continues on with how aggressive Erick is then they are in for a future full of lawsuits, it's just a matter of when. Do better. My friend and I were looking for a dinner place after village fest. We were surprised at the food here. There was maybe about 4-5 other parties here. We went around 8 PM. It wasn't overly loud. They have a fantastic ambiance and great drinks. It cost about 160 total for 2 people including 1 app, 2 enteees, 1 side dish, and 2 cocktails. The food was delicious. The meats fell off the bone easily and the staff was great. We would def come back and try some more if we lived here. They also have a parking lot in the back with ampule parking.
