After reading some Old Reviews, I'm glad to see that our experiences here at the Cascade Lounge has always been positive. I'm not sure if it's because we only attend during the VIP invitations or if things have developed into a better environment. The ambiance and music have always been very seasonal and delightful. They go above and beyond. The food 99.9% has been delicious and we've even broadened our own palates by eating some things we've never ate. Now we've been spoiled to happen to get the same waitress "Sandra" who has to be one of my all favorite servers ever! She is on top of her game, and is always so pleasant. Only one disappointment......... the lady that took over as the Cascade Host is by far no way as good as their prior host Alex. Alex was fun, engaging and really made us feel like she loved her job. On the other hand this lady comes across as Ugh, this is my job! Big difference! Shame on Agua for letting Alex leave. Finishing off with, Rafael (Aguas Host) is 100% the Best Host we've ever had. He is so professional and so heartwarming when it comes to his attention to our family needs. He goes way above and beyond! If it weren't for him we wouldn't be going to Agua as much as we do.

We visited Cascade Lounge at Agua Caliente Casino recently after purchasing tickets online to see the Holly Street Stompers. It's a small lounge within the casino with limited seating. The cocktails were watered down and the milieu was just okay. Seats are not designed for comfort. The music was outstanding, however. If you are lucky enough to snag seats right up front, you might have a better experience. Ours had obstructed views that we were not aware of until we arrived and had no chance to change. The lounge is also non-smoking which is appreciated.

If you didn't know better you'd think you were in LA in the summer, excepty for the bocce ball. They have an excellent selection of spirits, cocktails. Maybe a little varied, but decently creative. The only thing that gets me is pricing. Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it. The crowd makes up for it. Far less wrinkled and aging snowbirds and retirees circling the drain in their waning days. People dressing up and celebrating, genuine convivialness abounds with most guests. It's not somewhere else trying bring that vibe here, it's pretty authentic. It's separate from nextdoor other than shared bathrooms, so don't be surprised when you feel like your in a different world. Most people who wander between the 2 take pause and awe for a few seconds before their mood shifts to match the room. Not a place to get sloppy and party that way unless it's a closed event. It's a great, classic PS lounge for when you have 2 groups of friends who you can entertain, the steakhouse crowd for dinner and the loungers beforehand. Seemed to be more of a mixed age crowd than some other places on the street. Upon arrival, we walked the premises checking out the large front bar, and then into the back area which had the dance floor and a smaller bar. The three of us opted for a table out on the patio which provided the inside music as a background, so having a conversation was possible. The drinks were good and a little more reasonably priced than at our first stop. They had male go-go dancers around the main bar area, providing a little extra visual stimulation over all of the regular customers dancing in the back. All-male bar and wait staff the night of our visit. Overall, I enjoyed myself more than at our first stop, Hunters, which was across the street. I would definitely come back here again.

He was incredibly kind and personally made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. We especially appreciated that he kept us informed on how we were doing against our minimum spend and made sure we were well served the entire evening. That level of attentiveness made the night feel easy and well managed from our side. The music and overall energy were great, and the club was packed well beyond the 50 plus guests we brought into the reserved section. It felt lively, celebratory, and like exactly the kind of place you want for a wedding after party. The staff was welcoming, service was strong, and the atmosphere carried the night forward in a really fun way. We would absolutely recommend Copa for anyone looking for an upbeat Palm Springs after party venue.

My friend and I asked for service 3 times and never received it. We had a reservation, let him know and he escorted us to our table (after half of us paid the $30 knocked down to $20 admission fee for a live performance that never happened) we get to our table and the waitress finally came over after we were seated, asked me what I wanted to drink since we had a reservation made. I asked for the $100 we spent in admission to be put towards the bottle. Staff said yes that was fine. Asked us what mixers we wanted, I said pineapple and cranberry, they brought us 1 pineapple and 1 orange. The waitress took my card and asked me what I wanted the sign to say, walked away and literally never came back to our table. Until wayyyy later. We were seated for over an hour and all we had was juice. I booked this table on April 11th. Also all the MEN were upstairs on elevated surfaces like a bunch of BITCHES. literally like a middle school dance with all the girls on one side and the boys on the other. We booked this place bc we saw it was highly recommended but it was NOT fun at ALL. They wasted our money and our time. I recommend chill bar over copa. The bachelor group that came in WAY after us was immediately served with their sign and drinks. Apparently you have to be a male to get attention. We literally never saw our waitress again until we deadass chased her down. Fake Blonde hair, fake blue eye contacts. There were 2 other bachelorette groups in the building that left within the time span we did because it was such a terrible time. Some random man stepped into our section & put his empty drinks on our table as if there wasn't as entire bar for him to bring his empty cups to. Disrespectful. There was also a crew filming in the section next to us, smoking some sort of blunt/cigarillo inside. We had a much better time at chill bar.

One of the reasons I keep coming back is the availability of private dining rooms that are conveniently located near the main dining area. If you're planning a group dinner meeting, just be aware that the sliding doors don't completely block out the noise from the dining room, so conversations may not be as secluded as you'd expect. That said, the food is consistently outstanding. The heirloom tomato salad is an absolute must-order. The crème fraîche dressing is incredible. Pro tip: save some bread to soak up every last bit of it. For the main course, the mesquite-smoked carne asada is exceptional. The meat is cooked perfectly, and the combination of pinto beans, ranchera sauce, and slightly sweet corn pudding creates a balanced and memorable dish. The portions are thoughtfully sized! Satisfying without leaving you feeling overly full. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. They're all worth trying, but the macchiato cake is the standout and the perfect way to end the meal.
